Abstract

Technology and artificial intelligence (AI) are growing and their implementation is very fast. AI has become a part of our daily life. AI makes people start changing the way they think, work and learn. The education sector is one of the many affected by AI, even though its implementation faces many challenges and ethics. The aim of this study is to analyze the benefits, opportunities and challenges of AI in education. The method used in this study is a review of relevant literature on the research focus of AI in education. A total of 24 articles were analyzed to gain an in-depth understanding of the opportunities, benefits and challenges of adopting AI in education. The results show that the adoption of AI in education has been widely carried out in various countries and is increasingly emerging in the industrial era 4.0 coupled with the crisis due to the Covid-19 pandemic. AI in education creates new opportunities and challenges that require further hard work and innovation. This study also provides recommendations and directions for future research.

Abstract

Aplikasi Mendeley sangat membantu mahasiswa dalam menyusun karya ilmiah seperti tugas akhir, skripsi, dantesis. Dengan Mendeley ini, mahasiswa dapat mengelola sumber-sumber bacaan yang digunakan sebagaireferensi atau acuan dalam menyusun karya ilmiahnya. Aplikasi ini dapat memberikan kemudahan kepadamahasiswa untuk memasukkan sitasi dan membuat daftar referensi secara otomatis. Masih banyak mahasiswatingkat akhir yang belum memahami fungsi dan manfaat dari aplikasi Mendeley ini. Oleh karena itu kegiatanpengabdian masyarakat berupa pelatihan manajemen referensi dengan Mendeley sangat diperlukan. Pelatihan inibertujuan untuk menambah wawasan mahasiswa dan meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam penggunaanaplikasi manajemen referensi Mendeley. Pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi terhadappermasalahan yang dihadapi mahasiswa dalam penulisan tugas akhir dan tentunya berkontribusi dalampeningkatan kualitas karya ilmiah mereka.

Abstract

Bibliometrik berasal dari bahasa Yunani yang berupa gabungan kata biblion (buku) dan kata metron (pengukuran). Istilah ini pertama kali diperkenalkan Raisig (1942) dan dipopulerkan oleh Alan Pritchard (1969) dalam artikelnya yang berjudul “Statistical Bibliography or Bibliometrics”. Analisis secara bibliometrik dilakukan dengan menggunakan data (csv dan ris/bib) dan penulis dalam mempublikasikan ilmiah serta artikel dan kutipan bertujuan untuk mengukur luaran individu atau tim peneliti, institusi, dan negara, mengidentifikasi jaringan nasional dan internasional serta memetakan pengembangan (visualisasasi) bidang ilmu sains dan teknologi baru (multidisiplin). Dimensions merupakan portal yang beroperasi secara daring yang mempunyai sebanyak 20 field of research, dalam pengenalan untuk menggunakan platform ini hanya jumlah kutipan dan negara di dunia (kuantitatif). Dengan mengambil asumsi tema atau topik “social, economic, communications and technology”, diperoleh keterkaitan dengan bidang kajian (35) Commerce, Management, Tourism and Services, (3507) Strategy Management and Organisational Behaviour, (44) Human Society, (46) Information and Computing Sciences dan (47) Language, Communication and Culture. Total data kuantitatif diperoleh 7.353 documents, 9.796 total link strength dan 130.232 citations untuk cakupan seluruh dunia (5 benua). Negara Indonesia di portal dimensions terdapat 52 documents 96 total link strength 655 citations, serta nomor urut 14 dari 24 negara di benua Asia.

Abstract

Organizational change demands effective management, with the preparedness of human resources playing a pivotal role in achieving success. This study explores the interplay of psychological capital, work engagement, and entrepreneurial mindsets (both intrapreneurial and entrepreneurial) as predictors of lecturers' readiness for change. Conducted with 331 lecturers from private universities in Indonesia (Esa Unggul, Jakarta state university and Muhammadiyah Pringsewu, the research employs Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM PLS) for data analysis. The findings underscore the substantial influence of psychological capital and work engagement in enhancing lecturer readiness for change. Additionally, work engagement emerges as a critical mediator in the relationship between psychological capital and readiness for change. Notably, the study contributes to our understanding by delving into both intrapreneurial and entrepreneurial dimensions of entrepreneurial mindsets, offering a nuanced perspective on the factors shaping educator readiness for change. The research contributes theoretically by shedding light on the multifaceted roles of entrepreneurial mindsets in strengthening readiness for change, addressing a gap in the existing literature. Practical insights advocate for the cultivation of diverse entrepreneurial mindsets among educators to successfully navigate organizational change. This study establishes a foundation for future research in this evolving domain, emphasizing the significance of entrepreneurial approaches in preparing lecturers for the challenges posed by organizational change.

Abstract

In the world of education, the development of technology systems is increasingly rapid. The implementation of Blockchain continues to be used in various sectors. This study analyzed the use of Blockchain in higher education. The research discussion results lead to the use of blockchain technology, which is a new trend in higher education. Blockchain implementation in higher education creates problems in the use of blockchain technology. Based on the use of Blockchain in research, we are exploring the application of related technologies in higher education. The problem with technology that functions to record small transactions and data used for many sectors such as recording transactions, documentation, and even voting, which is also used in Higher Education, is unfortunately not well implemented. This supports research on the use of blockchain technology that can record transactions in many sectors. Documenting the process of transactions, documentation, and voting can even be used in Higher Education. To improve the blockchain technology system's performance in higher education, it is becoming more effective, efficient, and more accessible in recording transaction processes. It can become a new innovation for Higher Education.

Abstract

The goal of smart cities is to properly manage to expand urbanization, Reduce energy usage, Enhance the economic and quality of life of the locals while also preserving the environment conditions, and improve people's ability to use and adapt modern technology used in information and communication efficiently (ICT). Information and communication technology (ICT) is central to the concept of smart cities because it facilitates the development of policies, decision-making, implementation, and, eventually, the provision of useful services. This review's main objective is to examine how machine learning, deep reinforcement learning (DRL), and artificial intelligence are advancing smart cities. The previous strategies are effectively utilized to provide the best policies possible for a number of challenging issues relating to smart cities. The uses of the earlier methods are thoroughly discussed in this survey. in intelligent transportation systems (ITSs), Cybersecurity, as well as smart grid energy efficiency (SGs), ensuring the best 5G and beyond 5G (B5G) networking service, as well as a smart city with a smart health system, by effectively using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Finally, we list a number of the above-mentioned research problems and potential future directions approaches can be extremely helpful in bringing the idea of a smart city to life.

Abstract

This rapid world situation led to a significant growth in the amount of waste, including in economic activity. Due to the huge amount of waste growth every year, effective and efficient waste management is needed to protect our environment. In leather products economic activities, waste management is very important because it can have a significant effect on labor and manufacturing processes. Given the problem, waste management technology is considered the answer to solve the situation. Current investigations report remarkable results from the sealing of artificial intelligence-based tools that serve to detect and acknowledge whether it is an industrial waste. This artificial intelligence-based tool proved to be the answer to this situation approach capable of grouping several types of garbage with good performance. Despite these advantages, this artificial intelligence-based tool still finds some limitations, such as high computing demands, especially for deep learning networks. In view of these constraints, we propose a deeper learning network that is more appropriate for recognizing the waste of economic activity. In the course of this investigation, we used a Single Shot Detector to acknowledge and classify economic activity waste. The proposed completion ideas are carried out in the TrashNet dataset and the Waste Picture dataset. Our solution achieved an mAP of 0.8813, accuracy of 0.9795, performance measure of 0.9985 and conformance of 0.9693 in the training process. Meanwhile, in the process of verifying the tool, we achieved an average accuracy of 0.8254. Based on these experiments, we can conclude that our solution is suitable for detecting waste of economic activity and has the opportunity to be implemented as an installed system for programmatically recognizing waste of economic activity.

Abstract

Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS)-Internet of Things (IoT) enable healthcare services and infrastructure to enhance human lives, but they are vulnerable to various emerging cyber attacks. Cybersecurity specialists struggle to keep up with increasingly sophisticated attack methods. An urgent requirement exists for inventive cognitive cybersecurity in CPS-IoT enabled healthcare ecosystems. This paper presents a framework for cognitive cybersecurity to simulate human cognitive behavior in anticipating and responding to new and evolving cybersecurity and privacy threats to CPS-IoT and critical infrastructure systems. The framework encompasses the conceptualization and description of a layered architecture that integrates Artificial Intelligence, cognitive methods, and innovative security mechanisms.

Abstract

Customer loyalty becomes an important factor and a valuable asset for a business when customers have a positive attitude towards the product, thus motivating them to make repeat purchases. This research aims to analyze the influence of advertising, sales promotion, brand image on customer loyalty. The population of this research is made up of Mixue, Wedrink, and Momoyo customers. This research used a purposive sampling method to take samples from a total of 126 respondents. The data was analyzed statistically by applying PLS-SEM to test the proposed hypothesis. The results of this research show that sales promotion has a positive effect on customer loyalty, advertising has a positive effect on brand image, and sales promotion has a positive effect on brand image. Meanwhile, brand image has no positive effect on customer loyalty and advertising has no positive effect on customer loyalty. The managerial implication of this research is that companies need to strengthen sales promotion through various promotions and attractive offers so that they can motivate customers to buy products continuously and be loyal to the brand. In future research, it is recommended to add the age range, expand the respondent area and carry out in-depth analysis by looking at other factors such as product quality, price, location, and customer satisfaction which can influence customer loyalty, so that in future research we can obtain more comprehensive and detailed data. Abstract

Niat beli ulang pelanggan sangat penting untuk profitabilitas dan pertumbuhan berkelanjutan bisnis online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pada variabel perceived convenience, trust, e-WOM, perceived value, satisfaction terhadap repurchase intention. Penelitian ini mengambil jenis penelitian deskriptif kausalitas dengan pendekatan metode kuantitatif melalui teknik purposive sampling dan didiperoleh 100 responden yang sudah membeli produk pada marketplace Tokopedia dan Shopee lebih dari 3 kali pembelian dalam 1 bulan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Structural Equation Model Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan repurchase intention terbentuk karena dipengaruhi oleh trust dan satisfaction. Selanjutnya, perceived value dipengaruhi oleh perceived convenience, namun perceived convenience, perceived value, e-WOM tidak berpengaruh terhadap repurchase intention. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini dapat menjadi evaluasi evaluasi pada marketplace Tokopedia dan Shopee dalam meningkatkan pengaruh kebiasaan minat beli secara online.
