Abstract

The aim of the study was to find out whether there is a correlation between compensation and the performance of teachers and staff at MTs Syekh Maulana Qori. This study uses a quantitative approach with a type of correlational. The population in this study were all teachers and staff at MTs Syekh Maulana Qori, with a total of 15 people. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique so the sample used in this study was the entire MTs Syekh Maulana Qori staff, totaling 15 people. The main research data were obtained from respondents' questionnaire answers which were constructed from each indicator of the two research variables. After the data is declared normal and homogeneous then the research is continued. In order to answer the research hypothesis, a T-test was carried out by considering the value of T count and the value of sig. The results of the analysis showed that the t count value was 3.332 > t table 2.131 and the sig. 0.47 < 0.05, which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which also means that there is a positive and significant effect of compensation on the performance of teachers and staff of MTS Syekh Maulana Qori. The results of the study also obtained an R square value of 0.795 or 79.6% compensation can contribute to the performance of teachers and staff of MTs Syekh Maulana Qori. So that compensation is highly recommended to be considered and carried out in order to provide a sense of justice for teachers and staff who have dedicated themselves to MTs Syekh Maulana Qori. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of the principal's transformational leadership on school performance, as mediated by teachers' work motivation at MTsN 1 Merangin. This study employs a quantitative method as well as explanatory research. Primary data is collected using questionnaires for three relevant variables, while secondary data is gathered from school records, textbooks, and periodicals. The sample employed in this study was non-probability purposive sampling, with a total of 51 teachers. Smart PLS v.3 software runs the PLS-SEM data analysis algorithms. This study found that the principal's transformative leadership had a considerable positive direct effect on teacher performance (coefficient 0.208, t-count 1.660, a standard deviation 0.126, p-value 0.045 < 0.05). It demonstrates that transformational principle leadership has a substantial impact on teacher performance. The principal's transformational leadership has a considerable direct and beneficial effect on teachers’ motivation (coefficient 0.675, t-count 12.979, a standard deviation 0.05, p-value 0.000 < 0.05. It indicates a significant effect of transformative leadership on teacher motivation. Next, there was a considerable beneficial direct influence of teachers' motivation on teacher performance (coefficient 0.634, t-count 5.574, a standard deviation 0.114, p-value 0.000 < 0.05). It indicates a statistically significant influence of teacher motivation on performance. Last, motivation can operate as a mediator (coefficient 0.428, standard deviation 0.087, t-count 4.888, p-value 0.000 < 0.05). motivation mediates transformational leadership to teacher performance. So, the school principal was encouraged to have more intellectual stimulation, care, and inspire teachers, as well as other indicators of transformational leadership, to boost teacher motivation and performance.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is very important in advancing the economy. The ratio of the number of entrepreneurs in Indonesia is still 3.47 percent. When compared with neighbouring countries, such as Singapore at 8.76 percent, Malaysia at 4.74 percent, and Thailand at 4.26 percent. For this reason, it is necessary to increase the readiness of the younger generation, especially students, in entrepreneurship. The aim of the research is to examine the influence of literacy and intention through motivation on the entrepreneurial readiness of Merangin University students. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational survey method to test the influence between variables. A total of 285 students were sampled. This research data was tested using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The research results show that: 1) literacy, intention, motivation influence students' entrepreneurial readiness; 2) literacy, intention influences students' entrepreneurial motivation; 3) motivation cannot mediate the relationship between literacy and students' entrepreneurial readiness; 4) motivation can mediate the relationship between intentions and students' entrepreneurial readiness. This research encourages changes in higher education policies. The findings of this research are that knowledge and skills and entrepreneurial spirit can strengthen entrepreneurial readiness and the need for implementing entrepreneurial practices for students.

Of the 191 questionnaires distributed, 122 were returned. There are 4 questionnaires that are not filled out completely, so there are 118 questionnaires that can be processed in this study. The analytical method used in this research is Variant-based SEM using SmartPLS Software. From the results of testing the proposed hypothesis, it shows that motivation is not able to act as a mediation in the evaluation of managerial performance evaluation. Keywords:Managerial Performance, Budget Evaluation, Motivation
