Abstract

The development of the tourism sector has a relationship with the economy which aims to improve the welfare of local people living around tourist sites. The creative industry through tourism has a different form with the typical elements of culture and traditions of the village that has the tourist location. The process of developing tourism villages requires an institutional role as a forum in collecting aspirations and supporting the success of the tourism sector. Conscious tourism is a fundamental thing that must be understood by every walk of life. High tourism awareness encourages people to actively participate in tourism development. Efforts to increase tourism awareness for the community in the Bakau Serip tourism village are very important, because this village is developing tourism. Bakau serip tourism village has a very strong tourism potential, but it has not been supported by the readiness of human resources. In addition, the level of tourism sandar of the Bakau Serip community is also still very low. This community service is one of the efforts to increase the understanding and quality of human resources in order to increase tourism awareness. The methods used are lecture techniques and participatory approaches. The community is directly involved in the training through interactive discussions. From the results of this training, the community has a strong understanding of the importance of developing tourism villages and raising awareness to be actively involved in the management of tourism villages. Social service or better known as social service is an activity a form of concern or humanity towards fellow humans. Where with this activity we can glue our sense of kinship towards others. The word social includes individuals and groups. Filial piety can be interpreted as binding (binding) oneself to oneself or other selves. This bond is in the form of care, a feeling of responsibility for the lives of others. Social service can mean giving something (to those who need giving).

Abstract

Sapta Pesona began to be used and campaigned as a condition that must be realized in every tourist destination as well as natural, cultural, man-made and speciаl interests. Sаptа Pesonа is expected to creаte а comfortаble visitsto creаte а good impression for every tourist who comes. One of the destinаtion thаt is closely relаted to the community is а tourist villаge. In the tourist villаge, the аpplicаtion of the concept of tourism аwаreness аnd Sаptа Pesonа becomes аn importаnt thing in the bаse of its development to be аble to encourаge public аwаreness аs а good host. In аddition, the аpplicаtion of Sаptа Pesonа will аttrаct tourists to visit the plаce so it will rаise the community’s postion аs the recipient of mаximum beneficiаries from the effort.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship training really needs to be applied in everyday life. This training can not only be carried out to the general public but also inmates. One of the materials that can be provided to inmates is entrepreneurship training in making creative mocktails. In this training, inmates at Lapas Kelas II (Class II Prison) in Barelang Batam were given material in the form of knowledge about mocktails, the equipment needed to make mocktails and how to use them and also the method of making and practicing making mocktails directly. Through this training, it is hoped that the inmates of Class II Barelang Prison will have knowledge about mocktails and be able to make mocktails so that they can become an entrepreneurial option when they are released from detention.

Abstract

The Barista and Mixology Business Development Training is a program designed to teach participants basic and advanced skills in two main areas: barista (coffee preparation) and mixology (preparation of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages). The main objective is to improve the quality and expertise in managing and developing businesses in these sectors. This training typically covers various topics, such as Barista Skills, Espresso coffee-making techniques, Latte art (the art of creating pictures on coffee with milk), Introduction to different types of coffee and how to choose them, Techniques for serving and interacting with customers, Mixology, Fundamentals of beverage preparation (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), Combining ingredients and drink recipes, Aesthetics and presentation of beverages, Compliance with regulations in the beverage industry, Business Management, Business planning and marketing strategies, Inventory and cost management, Interpersonal skills and customer service. The participants of this training usually include business owners, managers, or individuals interested in starting or improving their business in the coffee and beverage industry. This training can be conducted in the form of intensive workshops, seminars, or long-term courses, depending on the organizer and the program's objectives.

Abstract

This Community Service Programme (PKM) aims to improve the skills of inmates in Class II Batam Correctional Institution in barista training at class IIA Barelang correctional institution, batam city. This skill is very important to prepare them to enter the world of work or start a small business in the beverage field after completing their sentence. The training involved lecturers from Batam Tourism Polytechnic who provided practical knowledge on various components of making and preparing milk-based beverages such as cappuccino latte. The training methods used included theoretical sessions, practical simulations, and interactive discussions to ensure in-depth understanding among the participants. Training results. The participants were not only able to prepare and serve espresso-based coffee, but also had the skills to brew coffee using both manual and machine brewing equipment. The sustainability of the programme is supported by the strong collaboration between Batam Tourism Polytechnic and Batam Class II Correctional Facility, as well as the provision of adequate facilities for the training. By integrating the programme into prison activities, it is expected that the training will continue and have a long-term positive impact. In conclusion, this beverage production costing training plays an important role in empowering prisoners with relevant skills, helping them adapt to the world of work, and opening up future business opportunities.

Abstract

Currently, trendy beverages such as mocktails are becoming increasingly popular among teenagers, especially high school students. Mocktails are non-alcoholic drinks that are appealing due to their aesthetic appearance, attractive colors, and refreshing taste. This community service activity at SMK Aljabar Batam aims to provide education on how to create trendy drinks that are simple, delicious, and visually attractive using basic techniques such as pouring and muddling. The training also introduces various drink-making tools such as the muddler, jigger, and mixing glass. Through this program, students are expected to acquire basic skills in drink mixing, understand flavor combinations, and enhance their creativity in presentation. Moreover, this activity also aims to foster an entrepreneurial spirit, encourage independence, and open business opportunities in the creative industry sector.

Abstract

Giving assistance is an action taken by individuals or organizations with the intention of assisting and benefiting those who are in need. This activity typically focuses more on social and humanitarian issues and is done freely without anticipating financial gain. Distribution of basic requirements (nine essential commodities) to disadvantaged individuals is one common way that assistance is provided. For those who cannot pay medical expenses, therapy is provided for free. instruction and practice to strengthen social skills. donations for those in need or those affected by natural calamities. cleansing the environment or engaging in other endeavors to enhance living standards. The primary goals of providing assistance are to lessen the pressures on others, foster a sense of fraternity among individuals, and foster a community that values others more. Typically, social institutions, neighborhood associations, or young people's groups that value cooperation carry out this activity.

Abstract

Many MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) actors are covered by their lack of knowledge about digital marketing and electronic commerce (e-commerce). Take advantage of the potential in digital marketing and how to create good digital content to attract customers. Based on various facts obtained from the field, it can be formulated that the problems that arise in the EPI (Excellent Preneur Indonesia) MSME community are: lack of content creation and content sharing for digital marketing content. This problem prompted the community service team to provide outreach regarding digital content creation for the development of the MSME community. The method used is in the form of lectures, then questions and answers, and practice of creating content. The outreach was attended by 25 participants and went smoothly. This service activity produced results, including being able to increase knowledge and motivation as well as participants' ideas for creating digital content for the business they were running and adjusted according to target customers.
