Abstract

Processed fish in the form of soft bone milkfish is a superior product of the city of Semarang that needs attention because it involves many business actors and has an influence on regional economic growth. However, there are still many obstacles related to production and marketing aspects. This paper is limited to handling production aspects in two fish processing SMEs in Semarang City, namely CV New Citra and UD Putri Laut. The problem faced by the two SME partners is that the production equipment for pressure cooking milkfish has a small capacity so that productivity is less than optimal. Another problem is that the shelf life of existing products is not long enough. To overcome this problem, the implementation team carries out community service using several methods, including socialization, training and mentoring. After the two tools were successfully created, the implementation team provided training and assistance on how to operate the two tools until the partners mastered and were skilled. Currently these two tools have been used in the pressure cooker milkfish production process, and have been proven to be able to increase production capacity and quality. Based on field observations, pressure cookers are able to increase production capacity by up to 300 percent, saving fuel costs by 66.66 percent. The retort tool succeeded in increasing product shelf life by up to 1 year, and saved retort costs of IDR 600,000, per retort process.

Milkfish can be processed into various diversified products with high nutritional content, especially Omega 3 content. A humanistic approach model based on culinary is known as gastrodiplomacy. This gastrodiplomacy model is very suitable as an effort to strengthen the MSME sector of Semarang City in the global market, one of which is in the milkfish center in Tambakrejo Village, Gayamsari. Abstract

Effective archive management is essential for organizations, companies, and agencies to support administrative processes, decision-making, and policy development. This study aims to enhance the structuring and management of inactive records at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) through the implementation of the SMART (Selective, Comprehensive, Active, Responsive, and Trusted) method. The research follows the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model, which provides a structured and systematic approach suitable for archival research. The findings indicate a significant transformation in archival management, making it more organized, systematic, and integrated. FEB UNNES has adopted a barcode-based classification system, facilitating more efficient retrieval of records. Identified inactive records have been systematically arranged in the FEB Record Center, located in the L3 Building, 2nd Floor. Additionally, 76 types of records have been identified for potential destruction, with consultations conducted with the UNNES Archives Technical Management Unit to ensure proper procedures. Five sets of basic data files from 2017–2021 have been submitted for disposal. The implementation of the SMART model enhances accessibility, systematization, and digitalization in archive management at FEB UNNES, providing a more efficient and reliable archival system.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the efficiency of rice marketing in Ngawi Regency. This study uses the Structure-Conduct-Performance (SCP) method to analyze the efficiency of rice marketing. The data collection methods involved surveys and structured interviews with actors in the rice distribution chain. The snowball sampling method is used in this study to follow the marketing flow from farmers to end consumers. The study's results indicate that five main distribution channel patterns were identified. Each actor in the distribution chain has different contributions to marketing activities, including exchange functions, physical functions, and facility functions. The Farmer's Share value in each rice marketing channel in Ngawi Regency shows the proportion of price acceptance received by farmers compared to the price paid by end consumers. The analysis of five rice marketing channels in Ngawi Regency shows that channel 2 has the highest Farmer’s Share (54.62%), while channel 5 is the most cost-efficient with a π/c ratio 1.32. This study contributes to agricultural marketing studies by highlighting the importance of evaluating distribution channels based on the balance between the value received by producers and cost efficiency.
