Data analysis using univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using chi square test. The results of this study showed that there was a relationship between knowledge (p value = 0.008), motivation (p value = 0.013), and husband's support (p value = 0.019) with the implementation of the class for pregnant women. Abstract

Cervical cancer is a kind of malignant tumor which touches the surface layer (epithelium) of a cervix. This study was aimed to find out the simultaneous correlation between knowledge, attitude and husband’s support with the visual inspection with acetic acid (VIA) at Muara Enim Public Health Center year 2021. This study is a quantitative study applying survey analytical design using cross sectional approach. The population of this study was taken from all couples of their reproductive age who visited VIA polyclinic during August 2021. The samples of this study were 35 respondents who were taken by applying accidental sampling method in which the data were collected using questionnaires. Based on the result of bivariate analysis, it was found out that there was no correlation between knowledge and visual inspection with acetic acid (VIA). Those who had good knowledge and wanted to have VIA were 82.9%. Chi-square test showed (ρ value = 0.117). There was a correlation between attitude and visual inspection with acetic acid (VIA). Those who had positive attitude and wanted to have VIA were 65.7%. Chi-square test showed (ρ value = 0.001). There was a correlation between husband’s support and visual inspection with acetic acid (VIA). Those who got the support from husband and wanted to have VIA were 71.4%. Chi-square test showed (ρ value = 0.003). It can be concluded that there was no simultaneous correlation between attitude and husband’s supportwith the visual inspection with acetic acid (VIA) at Muara Enim Public Health Center year 2021. It is suggested that health workers improve their service, especially when dealing with visual inspection with acetic acid (VIA) and monitor the incidence of cervix cancer so it can decrease the number of mothers’ mortality caused by cervix cancer in Indonesia.

Abstract

The World Health Organization (WHO), in 2017 amounted to 150.8 million (22.2%), globally, Africa and Asia contributed the most with 39% and 55%, respectively. The prevalence of stunting is very high in Asia where almost 1 in 10 children under five is underweight than in Latin America and the Caribbean. WHO places Indonesia as the third country with the highest stunting prevalence rate in Asia in 2017. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between exclusive breastfeeding, low birth weight, and nutritional intake with the incidence of stunting in children under five at the Telang Jaya Telang Health Center, Muara Telang District. Banyuasin Regency in 2021. The method used in this research is an analytical survey with a cross sectional approach with data collection using questionnaires and interviews. The statistical test used is the chi-square test. The population in this study were toddlers at the Telang Jaya Telang Health Center, Muara Telang District, Banyuasin Regency in January-May 2021, totaling 3133 toddlers, and the sample size used the Slovin formula so that it used 97 respondents. Univariate analysis showed that from 97 respondents studied, there were 25 respondents (25.8%) who were stunted, 50 respondents who did not breastfeed exclusively (51.5%), LBW as many as 33 respondents (34.0%), and 45 respondents (46.4%). The results of statistical tests showed that there was a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding (p.value 0.032), low birth weight (p.value = 0.000), and nutritional intake (p.value = 0.022). The conclusion is that there is a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding, low birth weight, and nutritional intake with the incidence of stunting in children under five at the Telang Jaya Telang Health Center, Muara Telang District, Banyuasin Regency in 2021.

Abstract

According to the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2017 around 810 women died and at the end of the year reached 295,000 people, of which 94% occurred in developing countries. The high maternal mortality rate (MMR) and infant mortality rate (IMR) are caused by complications in pregnancy and childbirth. Preeclampsia is one of the main causes of death in mothers besides bleeding and infection. Preeclampsia is hypertension that occurs after 20 weeks of gestation accompanied by proteinuria. This study aims to find out the relationship between age, parity, and obesity with the incidence of preeclampsia at the Kayuagung Regional General Hospital in 2021. The method in this study used an analytical survey using a cross-sectional approach with a population of 1624 pregnant women and a sample of 94 pregnant women using the total technique. sampling. Data analysis used the chi square statistical test with p value ≤ α value (0.05). The results of this study were of 59 respondents who were at high risk, 31(52.5%) of respondents had preeclampsia p value = 0.031, of 56 respondents with high risk parity 40 (71.4%) of respondents had preeclampsia p value = 0.032, meanwhile, from 60 respondents with obesity 24 (40%) respondents had preeclampsia p value = 0.000. It is hoped that midwives can increase the provision of education to pregnant women regarding danger signs in pregnancy and healthy lifestyles during pregnancy so that the incidence of preeclampsia can be reduced and maternal mortality rates can be reduced.

Abstract

Low Birth Weight (LBW) is a baby born with a weight less than 2500 grams which has a contribution to infant mortality, especially during the perinatal period. LBW is caused by a short gestational age (prematurity) and IUGR (Intra Uterine Growth Restriction) which in Indonesian is called Inhibited Fetal Growth (PJT) or both. Both of these causes are influenced by risk factors. Factors associated with the incidence of LBW are maternal age, gestational age, parity, gestational age, malnutrition during pregnancy, hypertension, smoking, multiple pregnancy, hydramnios, tiring work and birth spacing. This study aims to determine the relationship between parity, hypertension and birth spacing with the incidence of low birth weight in the Kayuagung Hospital in 2021. The design of this research is quantitative using an analytical survey method with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all newborns at the Kayuagung Hospital in 2021 as many as 1004 babies. The sample used was some newborns in the Perinatal Room of RSUD Kayu Agung, amounting to 91 respondents. The statistical results of the chi-square test obtained p value = 0.003 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between parity and the incidence of LBW, the statistical results of the chi-square test obtained p value = 0.275 <0.05, so it can be concluded there is no relationship between hypertension and the incidence of LBW and the statistical results of the chi-square test obtained p value = 0.010 <0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between birth spacing and the incidence of LBW. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between parity and birth spacing with the incidence of LBW at the Kayuagung Hospital in 2021 and there is no relationship between hypertension and the incidence of LBW at the Kayuagung Hospital in 2021.
