Abstract

This study aimed to determine the role of human resource management in education. Management comes from the English word to manage, which means to organize, manage or manage. According to the term, management is the process of coordinating work activities so that they can be completed efficiently and effectively with and through other people. Based on the above, management is a way to organize or even manage something to get excellent and maximum results and get the job done optimally. Human Resources can be observed in two aspects, namely quality, and quantity. Quantity concerns the number of human resources (population) whose contribution is less critical in development than quality. Even the amount of human resources must be accompanied by good quality to avoid becoming a burden for the development of a nation. While quality concerns the quality of human resources, which involves physical and non-physical abilities (intelligence and mental). In conclusion, the goals in educational HR management include: the goals of society as a whole, the achievement of organizational goals, the achievement of functional purposes, the achievement of personal goals. Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study that aims to determine the principal's leadership pattern, the relationship between the principal's leadership pattern and teacher performance, and improving teacher performance at MTsN 2 Medan through the principal's leadership pattern. The objects in this study were the principals and teachers who taught at MTsN 2 Medan. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis using data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of the study show that: 1) The leadership pattern of the principal at MTsN 2 Medan is through a pattern of supervision and a pattern of coaching by conducting class visits with very periodic time, observation visits, academic guidance, and non-academic guidance, as well as a pattern of coaching carried out by group techniques such as meetings or conferences, group discussions, and upgrading/training; 2) Through the principal's leadership pattern which consists of a pattern of supervision and a pattern of coaching, the teacher's performance in class management has been good, where the teacher has been able to determine the right learning strategy, use fun methods for students, and is able to manage learning in the classroom as a whole, and teachers at MTsN 2 Medan have good conceptual skills, where teachers are able to balance school conditions with their own abilities to achieve real learning goals, and have four teacher competencies namely pedagogic, personality, social and professional; 3) The principal's leadership pattern through supervision and coaching can improve teacher performance at MTsN 2 Medan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe efforts to achieve graduate excellence through the implementation of integrated curriculum management at the Nurul Hakim Tembung-Deli Serdang Modern Islamic Boarding School. This study used a qualitative approach with an analytical descriptive study method. The results of the study show (1) The integrated curriculum planning of the Nurul Hakim Tembung Modern Islamic Boarding School in achieving graduate excellence begins with determining the Vision and Mission, institutional strategy, and institutional output. Determination of the vision and mission, the goals of the institution are prepared based on the deliberations of the leadership of the pesantren with the teachers by prioritizing the concept of graduate excellence. (2) Implementation of integrated curriculum management, namely in the form of curriculum integration with a ratio of 50% Madrasah curriculum and 50% Islamic boarding school curriculum. Implementation of integrated curriculum management consists of intra-curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular. (3) Evaluation of integrated curriculum management, including evaluation of organizational structure, evaluation of Human Resources, and Evaluation of Learning to achieve excellence in graduates. Evaluation is carried out if the output of graduates and the development of students do not have significant results. (4) To achieve the excellence of graduates, the pesantren needs the support of the director of the foundation, the quality of teachers, students, curriculum and learning management. Graduate achievements are provided with religious guidance, foreign language guidance and additional learning for graduates who wish to continue on to Middle Eastern Universities and State Universities.

Abstract

Efektivitas Pengembangan Budaya literasi dan Numerasi (Studi di SD 165727) Tebing Tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini: 1) Bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis efektivitas pengembangan budaya literasi numerasi, 2) Bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas literasi numerasi di SD 165727. Efektivitas mengembangkan budaya literasi numerasi di sekolah SD 165727 dilakukan dengan cara: (1) membuat rencana jangka pendek dan jangka panjang atau program tahunan. (2) membuat rencana operasional sebagai tindak lanjut dari tahap pertama. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: Gambaran efektivitas pengembangan budaya literasi dan Numerasi ditandai dengan adanya pembiasaan kegiatan membaca dan berhitung yang kegiatannya dilakukan di perpustakaan, pojok baca, taman, dan pohon baca baik pada jam istrahat maupun pada jam pembelajaran. (3) Pengembangan Budaya literasi dan Numerasi SD 165727 dengan membaca dan berhitung 15 menit sebelum memulai pelajaran dimulai di SDN 165721 dengan tujuan menjadikan siswa gemar membaca dan berhitung merupakan kegiatan yang dapat menumbuhkan nilai nilai Literasi dan Numerasi dalam diri siswa. Efektivitas literasi numerasi SD 165727 bahwa pelaksanaan literasi dan numerasi efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam membaca dan berhitung. Selain itu dengan program budaya literasi dan numerasi juga dapat menekan angka kenakalan pada siswa, serta mampu meningkatkan jiwa semangat belajar, menambah kemampuan membaca dan berhitung siswa, dan membentuk karakter siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kepemimpinan partisipatif dalam memberdayakan guru di SMA Negeri 1 Sei Bamban Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah SMA Negeri 1 Sei Bamban dalam mendelegasikan pekerjaan disesuaikan dengan keadaan lingkungan sekitar, dan dari hasil wawancara serta dokumentasi yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepala sekolah SMA Negeri 1 Sei Bamban dalam memberdayakan guru terdiri dari dua hal pokok yang pertama pendelegasian secara formal sesuai dengan tupoksi yang dicantumkan dalam rencana program kerja serta pendelegasian mengenai hal di sekolah. Kepala sekolah dengan mempertimbangkan tingkat kematangan, perkembangan kemampuan bawahan dalam melaksanakan suatu tugas tertentu disertai tanggung jawab, kepercayaan dan pendelegasian. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan memberikan kesempatan yang seluas luasnya bagi guru untuk mengembangkan kompetensinya melalui pelatihan. Kepala sekolah SMA Negeri 1 Sei Bamban sebagai pengendalian dalam memberdayakan guru tidak terlepas dari kemampuan kepala sekolah dalam memimpin sebuah organisasi pendidikan. Partisipatif kepala sekolah SMA Negeri 1 Sei Bamban dibuktikan dengan adanya komitmen guru untuk bertanggung jawab, selalu mencintai pekerjaan dan menjalankan tugas pokok sebaik-baiknya agar tujuan dan sasaran berhasil dicapai.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of the variables in the study model, named clime, culture and organizational structure performance on the quality of education in SMP Negeri 1 Hamparan Perak. This research took place at SMP Negeri 1 Hamparan Perak which was carried out from November 2020-March 2021. The research population was all 62 educators, teachers and school principals and the sample used was 62 people from the total population in SMP Negeri 1 Hamparan Perak. In this study, the instrument used to obtain data and information about the object of research was using a questionnaire with a Likert scale approach. The analysis used is path analysis. From the results of the research data analysis shows that the influence of clime, culture, and structure performance variables on the quality of education is 0.749 or the equivalent of 74.9% is significant at the significant level of 0.0 Furthermore, the results of the study show that the influence of organizational clime variables on the quality of education shows that there is a significant influences. a significant amount is 3,531. Then the result of the influence of organizational culture variables on the quality of education showed a significant effect of 2.53. And the results of the study shows that the effect of the organizational structure performance variables on the quality of education showing a significant influence of 4.33

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan instruksional kepala sekolah, motivasi guru, dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja guru SMA Negeri di Kota Binjai. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada latar multisitus, yakni 7 SMA Negeri di Kota Binjai. Dilaksanakan sejak Juni-Agustus 2023. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan teknik penyebaran angket terhadap 84 orang. Selanjutnya data dianalisis menggunakan teknik uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa variabel kepemimpinan instruksional kepala sekolah, motivasi guru dan kinerja guru berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel kinerja guru sebesar 88,6%. Artinya, semakin positif dan tinggi variabel bebas (X1, X2, X3) maka semakin positif dan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel terikat (Y).

Abstract

The management of Islamic educational institutions is a significant concern in ensuring education quality assurance. In this context, the quality of academic services and the quality (accreditation) of institutions will be assessed from the school's public image. This study aims to analyze the management of Islamic educational institutions. The background of the research is at SMP IT Mutiara Deli Serdang, North Sumatra. A qualitative approach is used as a research paradigm, with a descriptive-analytical study method. Sources of data were obtained through observation techniques, interviews, and document review. Analysis of research data using the SWOT concept, with data reduction techniques (selecting information relevant to efforts to answer the research problem formulation), data presentation (compiling research data-based research paragraphs), and verification (drawing conclusions). The results of this study conclude that SMP IT Mutiara applies systematic, visionary, and institutional management according to the community's needs through efforts to involve all components of education. This is viewed from (1) aspects of strength in the form of application of Islamic character education in schools, competent educators, clean environment and provision of clean water self-help, networking (networking), and empowerment of school public relations in promoting the institutional image, (2) aspects of weakness in the form of the duration of learning full-day system, (3) the opportunity aspect in the form of the existence of SMP IT Mutiara as the only integrated Islamic education institution in the area and a significant increase in the number of people in the area, and (4) the obstacle aspect in the form of challenges presenting the characteristics of SMP IT Mutiara compared to other integrated Islamic schools and technological sophistication that is increasingly innovating.

Abstract

This study aims to describe curriculum development during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMP IT Mutiara, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. A qualitative approach is used in this study with the case study method. In an effort to reveal the facts and phenomena surrounding the curriculum development, the researchers collected data through interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study concluded that the development of the IT Mutiara Middle School learning curriculum during the Covid-19 pandemic was managed effectively, also taking into account the principles of safety and security for school residents according to applicable regulations. This is marked by 5 aspects, namely (1) the planning aspect, including meetings with the management and teachers of SMP IT Mutiara, consultation with the school's managerial supervisor, and approval of the plan from the Deli Serdang education office, (2) organizational aspects, including the curricular with an eye group A and B lessons, co-curricular, extra-curricular with scouts and tahfiz of the Qur'an, as well as local content on information and communication technology (ICT) material, (3) implementation aspects, five days (Monday-Friday) effective learning days , Saturdays extracurricular activities with the person in charge of the teachers who have been determined, (4) aspects of supervision, including direct supervision by the school principal and school managerial supervisors, related to academic administration and services, and (5) evaluation aspects including a review of the achievement of goals and process of the learning system, so that curriculum implementation can be analyzed, making accountability reports, and recommendations for next steps.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Dalam Manajemen Kinerja Guru Di SD Negeri 2 Gunung Lagan Aceh Singkil Penelitian di laksanakan di SD Negeri 2 Gunung Lagandengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Peran kepala sekolah dalam memanajemen kinerja guru di SD Negeri 2 Gunung Lagan dengan melakukan pengaturan keadaan sekolah yang berfokus pada lingkungan Selain itu kepala sekolah menciptakan hubungan kerja yang harmonis dengan para tenaga pendidik agar berjalan dengan baik. Perencanaan Kepemimpinan dalam Manajemen Kinerja Guru Di SD Negeri 2 Gunung Lagan Aceh Singkil meliputi sikap kreativitas kedua Memberikan Ide, adanya motivasi semangat terkakhir siswa yang baik adalah kegiatan dimana kepala sekolah menjad penengah disaat ada permasalahan antara guru dengan guru maun dengan warga sekolah lainnya.  Pelaksanaan Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Dalam Manajemen Kinerja Guru Di SD Negeri 2 Gunung Lagan Aceh Singkil menerapkan sikap demokratis, komunikasi yang baik, bekerja sesuai dengan tupoksi, pertemuan aktif, mengamati kelas membimbing guru untuk memecahkan masalah dengan bijak dan menyelenggarakan pertemuan dengan aktif. Evaluasi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam memanajemen kinerja guru dengan menyusun perencanaan peningkatan mutu guru mewujudkan visi, misi, dan tujuan sekolah yang telah direncanakan. Evaluasi melibatkan seluruh civitas akademika sekolah termasuk melibatkan guru-guru dalam menentukan program atau rencana ke depan. Evaluasi yang dilakukan kepala sekolah juga sudah berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan (need assessment), dan analisis jabatan pekerjaan (job analysis).
