Abstract

The observations were performed in the Junior High School  2 Ambarawa , especially the eighth grade, biology shows that subjects regarded as a difficult subject understandable to students. This is because learning takes place in conventional and low interest in reading students' biology textbooks. One effort that can be done to increase reading and student results of learning is through the use of  Leaflet teaching materials types Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model. This study aims to determine the improvement of student results of learning in the subject matter of human development after being treated with a Leaflet through tipeJigsaw koopertif learning model. The results showed an increase in the average between pretest and posttest values were measured with N-gain in the experimental class at 55.75 is higher than the control class at 46.89. Average of the highest values in the aspect of understanding that is equal to 59.75 while the average low of results of learning in analyzing aspects of 34.2. Average student learning activities in the experimental class higher at 75.53 compared to 68.34 in the control classes. Given these results it can be concluded that the use of instructional materials Leaflets through Jigsaw cooperative learning model type significantly in improving students' junior high school 2 Ambarawa on the subject matter of Human Development. Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation of practice and science process skills to learning outcomes of class X students SMAN 13 Bandar Lampung in "Plantae" materials. The study sample were 36 students that were selected through purposive sampling technique. Research instruments used a questionnaires, observation sheets and daily test sheets. Research data were analyzed descriptively. The correlation test used was moment pearson correlation product. The results showed that practice correlation and learning outcomes showed that there was no significant correlation between the two. The results correlation tests of science process skills with learning outcomes indicate a significant correlation. While the results of multiple correlation tests show that between practice and science process skills on learning outcomes there was no significant correlation. Overall, practicum relations with science process skills on learning outcomes has an insignificant correlations.  Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan praktikum dan keterampilan proses sains terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X SMAN 13 Bandar Lampung pada materi “Plantae”. Sampel penelitian adalah 36 peserta didik yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket, lembar observasi dan lembar ulangan harian. Data penelitian dianalisis deskriptif. Uji korelasi menggunakan korelasi product moment pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa korelasi antara praktikum dengan hasil belajar menunjukkan tidak adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara keduanya. Kemudian hasil uji korelasi keterampilan proses sains dengan hasil belajar menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan. Sedangkan hasil uji korelasi ganda menunjukkan bahwa antara praktikum dan keterampilan proses sains terhadap hasil belajar tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan. Secara keseluruhan, hubungan praktikum dengan keterampilan proses sains terhadap hasil belajar memiliki hubungan yang tidak signifikan.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, keterampilan proses sains, Plantae, praktikum

Abstract

Two elements that very important in the learning process are model and media instructional. The observation was known that teachers not give an opportunity for students to develop independently so that students' critical thinking skills are underdeveloped. This study aimed to determine the effect of the use of audiovisual media through PBL models in improving critical thinking skills by students. The research design was pretest posttest equivalent group. The research sample class X2 and X5 are selected by cluster random sampling. The results showed that the use of audiovisual media through PBL models can improve critical thinking skills by students with average pretest (20.45), posttest (73.13), and N-gain (0,66). The average percentage of students also increased activity in all aspects of that observed with good criterion (85.04). In addition, the majority of students (89.68%) gave positive response about the use of audiovisual media through PBL models. Thus, we can conclude the use of audiovisual media through PBL models have a significant effect in improving critical thinking skills by students in the subject matter of environmental pollution and preservation efforts. Keywords: PBL models, audiovisual media, critical thinking skills, environmental pollution and preservation efforts.

Abstract

This research has purpose to know the influences of discovery learning method towards learning activities and conceptual understanding. Samples were VIIC and VIID that was chosen by purposive sampling. This research design was pretest-postest non equivalent group. The quantitative data was obtained from the average  value of test that were analyzed using t-test and U-test.The qualitative data are student learning activities and quostionnaire responses that analyzed descriptively. The result showed that the discovery learning improved students conceptual understanding that proof by N-gain average 59,74. Students learning activity from experiment class was increased with the average score in high criteria (85,71%). Besides that, most of the students gave positive response towards audio discovery learning. Thus, discovery learning can improved students  learning activities and conceptual understanding.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode discovery learning terhadap aktivitas dan penguasaan konsep oleh siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretes postes kelompok tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIc  dan VIID yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata tes yang dianalisis menggunakan uji U dan uji t. Data kualitatif  berupa data aktivitas siswa yang dianalisis secara dekriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode discovery learning dapat meningkatkan penguasaan konsep dengan rata-rata nilai N-gain 59,74. Aktivitas belajar juga mengalami peningkatan untuk semua aspek yang diamati pada kelas eksperimen dengan kriteria tinggi (85,71%). Sejalan dengan hal itu, sebagian besar siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan dengan metode discovery learning. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran menggunakan dengan metode discovery learning dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dan penguasaan konsep siswa.  Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, discovery learning, penguasaan konsep

Abstract

The purpose of this study was determine the effect of video media to increase student’s problem-solving skill at class X SMA Negeri 1 Banjar Agung. The research design was pretest-posttest non-equivalent groups. The samples in this study were students class X1 and X4  who selected by random cluster sampling technique. Quantitative data obtained from the average value of pretest and posttest were statistically analyzed using t-test. Qualitative data obtain from student learning activity. The results showed that the video media can improve student’s problem-solving skill significantly, it was seen on the experimental class average value of N-gain was 0,61 and the control class has 0,46. The average of percentage increase in all student learning activity aspect that activity in the experiment class was higher than control class. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media video terhadap peningkatan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah oleh siswa pada kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Banjar Agung. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretes-postes kelompok tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X1 dan X4 yang dipilih secara cluster random sampling. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretes dan postes yang dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji-t. Data kualitatif berupa data aktivitas belajar siswa. Abstract

The purpose of this study was determine the animation  multimedia and learning model TPS effects  to increasing students  mastery. The research design was pretest-posttest non-equivalent groups. The research samples were students of class XI3 and  XI4  science  selected by using  purposive sampling technique. Quantitative data obtained from the average value of pretest and posttest were statistically analyzed using t-test. Qualitative data activity data and questionnaire responses of student learning was obtained. The results showed that the animation  multimedia significantly influence the improvmant  of  students'mastery of the material with average N-gain is 45.26 and the average of all student’s  activitie in which the animation multimedia was higher. So, the use of animation multimedia  with TPS learning model can effective  students' mastery of the material and student’s  activities. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penggunaan animasi multimedia dengan model pembelajaran TPS terhadap peningkatan penguasaan materi siswa. Desain penelitian adalah pretes-postes kelompok non equivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA3dan  XI IPA4  yang dipilih secara purposive sampling.Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretes dan postes yang dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji-t. Data kualitatif  berupa data aktivitas dan angket tanggapan belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan animasi multimedia berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan penguasaan materi siswa, dengan rata-rata N-gain 45,26 dan rata-rata aktivitas siswa yang menggunakan animasi multimedia lebih tinggi. Sehingga, penggunaan animasi multimedia dengan model pembelajaran TPS efektif  dalam meningkatkan penguasaan materi dan aktivitas siswa.Kata kunci: animasi multimedia, model pembelajaran kooperatif  tipe TPS, penguasaan materi, sistem peredaran darah.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of picture media and Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to improve students learning achievement. The study design was a pretest posttest non equivalent. The samples were VIIA and VIIB class which were selected by cluster random sampling. The research quantitative data were obtained from the average value of pretest, posttest, and N-gain that were analyzed using U-test, homegenitas test, t1-test, and t2-test. The results showed that implementation of picture media and PBL model can improved learning achievement with an average of N-gain was 41,25. Thus the implementation of picture media and PBL model was effective to improved students learning achievement on environmental pollution subject matter.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan media gambar dan model pembelajaran PBL terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretes dan postes kelompok non ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas VIIA dan VIIByang dipilih secara cluster random sampling. Data penelitian berupa data kuantitatif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretes, postes, dan N-gain yang dianalisis menggunakan uji U, uji homogenitas, uji t1 dan uji t2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media gambar dan model pembelajaran PBL dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan rata-rata N-gain 41,25. Sehingga pembelajaran menggunakan media gambar dan model pembelajaran PBL efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok pencemaran lingkungan.Kata kunci : hasil belajar, media gambar, model pembelajaran PBL, pencemaran lingkungan

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine relationship between quality of questions with student learning outcomes. The design was descriptive correlational. The samples were students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Pagelaran that were selected by purposive sampling. Qualitative data was quality of student questions that compare with learning outcomes and quantitative data was learning outcomes from daily examination. The data was tested statistically by using Pearson correlation test (Product Moment). The results showed there was no correlation between quality of students questions and learning outcomes with equal to -0.078. No correlation between quality of student questions and student learning outcomes might caused by the difficulty of the reproductive system subject matter which must be explored specificly, and unsuitable of speech learning method.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan antara kualitas pertanyaan dengan hasil belajar siswa. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif korelasional. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling yaitu siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Pagelaran. Data penelitian berupa data kualitatif yaitu kualitas pertanyaan siswa yang dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar siswa dan data kuantitatif yaitu nilai hasil belajar yang diperoleh dari nilai ulangan harian. Data yang telah diperoleh diuji statistik menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson (Product Moment). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tidak ada korelasi antara kualitas pertanyaan siswa dengan hasil belajar siswa yaitu sebesar -0,078. Tidak adanya hubungan antara kualitas pertanyaan siswa dengan hasil belajar siswa diduga disebabkan oleh sulitnya materi sistem reproduksi yang harus digali secara spesifik, serta kurang tepatnya penggunaan metode ceramah dalam pembelajaran.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, pertanyaan siswa, taksonomi Bloom

Abstract

This study aims to determine the high-level thinking skills of students of SMA Negeri 1 Gadingrejo class X on environmental change material. The design used in this research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The research sample was students in class X IPA 1, X IPA 4 and X IPA 5 totaling 104 students who were selected by purposive sampling technique. Higher order thinking skills data with written tests and using the google form format. Higher thinking skills data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the higher order thinking skills of students at SMA Negeri 1 Gadingrejo were greatly reduced with an average percentage value of 53.52. So it can be concluded that the analysis of high-level thinking skills is still low with a very low category. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik SMA Negeri 1 Gadingrejo kelas X pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas X IPA 1, X IPA 4 dan X IPA 5 berjumlah 104 peserta didik yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dilakukan menggunakan format google form. Data kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dianalisis secara deskriptif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik di SMA Negeri 1 Gadingrejo tergolong kurang sekali dengan rata-rata nilai persen sebesar 53,52. Abstract

The research samples were students MIA 6 which were selected using the purposive sampling technique. The research data were qualitative and quantitative. The research instruments were obtained from observation sheets, questionnaires, and daily tests which were analyzed using Pearson correlation analysis techniques. The results showed that there was a relationship between practical to learning outcomes (r=0,997; p 0,0470,05), there was a relationship between science process skills to learning outcomes (r=0,755; p 0,050=0,05), and there was no relationship between both of practicum and science process skills to learning outcomes of students in the ecosystem material (sig 0,3010,05). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pelaksanaan praktikum dan keterampilan proses sains terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 16 Bandar Lampung pada materi ekosistem. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas X MIA 6 yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian berupa data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif.  Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi, angket, dan ulangan harian yang dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis korelasi Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara pelaksanaan praktikum terhadap hasil belajar (r=0,997; p 0,0470,05), ada hubungan antara keterampilan proses sains terhadap hasil belajar (r=0,755; p 0,050=0,05), dan tidak ada hubungan antara pelaksanaan praktikum dan keterampilan proses sains secara simultan terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi ekosistem (sig 0,3010,05).Kata kunci: ekosistem, hasil belajar, hubungan, keterampilan proses sains, praktikum
