Abstract

Kemampuan motorik halus merupakan aspek penting dalam perkembangan anak usia dini karena berpengaruh terhadap kesiapan menulis, kemandirian, dan aktivitas sehari-hari, namun pada kenyataannya masih banyak anak yang belum menguasai keterampilan ini secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan media plastisin dalam mengembangkan kemampuan motorik halus anak kelompok A di TK Nurul Ma’arif Kota Serang serta mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat penerapannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 10 anak kelompok A dan 1 guru kelas. Instrumen penelitian meliputi pedoman observasi, pedoman wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan model Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media plastisin mampu mengembangkan kemampuan motorik halus anak secara bertahap, terlihat dari peningkatan koordinasi mata dan tangan, kekuatan otot jari, serta kemampuan anak dalam meremas, menjumput, menekan, dan membentuk objek. Faktor pendukung meliputi kesiapan guru, ketersediaan media, dan antusiasme anak, sedangkan faktor penghambat berupa perbedaan kemampuan individu dan keterbatasan konsentrasi sebagian anak. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media plastisin dapat dijadikan alternatif media pembelajaran yang efektif, menarik, dan mudah diterapkan untuk menstimulasi perkembangan motorik halus anak usia dini.

Abstract

The low learning motivation of students with special needs (PDK) in Serang City is evident from their lack of focus, participation, and active involvement during learning. This condition shows that conventional learning methods have not been able to accommodate the individual needs and learning styles of each child. This study aims to analyse the application of audio-visual media in increasing the learning motivation of PDK. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the participants consisted of three PDK children with different characteristics, while the data was obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analysed through data reduction and conclusion drawing. The results showed that audio-visual media was effective in increasing learning motivation, as indicated by increased enthusiasm, curiosity, perseverance, and participation among children. The media was adjusted according to the children's needs, such as large text for the deaf, simple animations for children with autism, and interactive displays for children with concentration disorders. This study provides hope for the development of inclusive learning media and encourages collaboration between teachers and parents in supporting PDK learning motivation in a sustainable manner.
