Abstract

Transportation methods are methods used to optimally manage the distribution of goods from suppliers to destinations. The method used is Vogel's Approximate Method (VAM) and Modified Distribution (MODI). This research aims to minimize distribution costs for Keset Samian MSMEs. Samian Doormat UMKM is a small and medium business engaged in the production of doormat crafts. The Samian Doors Umkm experiences problems in managing distribution costs efficiently which has a direct impact on business profits. This research uses primary and secondary data collection related to costs. distribution, demand, and production capacity. The data was analyzed using VAM to determine the initial optimal cost solution in allocating the distribution of doormat products. The results of the VAM method were further optimized using the MODI method to achieve minimal costs in the distribution of doormat products. The research results show that the VAM and MODI methods are able to reduce distribution costs significantly compared to the traditional methods currently used by the Samian Doormat MSMEs. Where from the initial cost of Rp. 4,250,000 to Rp. 2,843,500 which experienced a decrease in transportation costs of Rp. 1,406,500 or 33.09%. So the results of calculating transportation costs for UMKM Keset Samian are optimal and increase business profits.

Abstract

Kholifan fani, Engineering Study Program, Yudharta Pasuruan University Pasuruan, 02 July 2024. Batake Quality Control Analysis, At CV. BERKAH PANDAAN Using the FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis ) Method. The aim of this research data is to determinan the process of controlling the quality of bricks at CV. Berkah Pandaan using the FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) Method. The approaches used are SWOT and FMEA. Failure Mode and Effect Analysis is defined as a method used to identify the causes and consequences of a failure. SWOT is the systematic identification of various factors to formulate company strategy. This analysis is based on logic that can maximize strengths and opportunities, but simultaneously minimize weaknesses and threats. Based on result of this research, the causes of defects that occur at CV. Be identified. BERKAH PANDAAN is caused by two thigs, namely in terms of humans and machiens, form the human perspective it is mosly caused by a lack of work concentration so that the quality of work decreases, this is triggered by working environmental conditions that are less supportive, including room temperatures that are too hot, insufficient lighting. Engine noise that is too loud in terms of the engine usually occurs because the engine is experiencing downtime.

Abstract

The chicken meat processing agro-industry at the Slaughterhouse (RPA) plays a key role in ensuring safe animal protein for consumption. Processed chicken products are classified as high risk, thus food safety risk mitigation becomes critical. This community service program aims to assist the partner in identifying, measuring, and analyzing critical risk factors in chicken meat production using the Failure Mode Effect and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) approach. Conducted at RPA CV. Satria Jaya in Pasuruan, the program applied both quantitative-descriptive and participatory approaches. Results reveal that immersion before chickens are fully dead, lack of certification among halal slaughterers (JULEHA), and negligence in reciting basmalah during slaughtering are the most critical risks. Suggested improvements include adjusting pre-soaking duration, recruiting competent JULEHA, and developing a process control information system. These findings are expected to support the reinforcement of food safety risk management systems in the partner's slaughterhouse.

Abstract

Industri komponen otomotif dituntut untuk memenuhi standar kualitas dan efisiensi yang sangat tinggi untuk menjaga daya saing. PT. Astra Mandiri Jaya (AMJ), sebagai pemasok komponen interior, menghadapi tantangan berupa bottleneck pada salah satu lini perakitan manual. Masalah utama teridentifikasi pada stasiun kerja perakitan panel pintu, di mana proses pemasangan klip dan sekrup secara manual memakan waktu lama dan rentan terhadap kesalahan, seperti komponen yang hilang atau tidak terpasang sempurna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan modifikasi pada assembly jig (alat bantu perakitan) dengan pendekatan Poka-Yoke untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan keandalan proses. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modifikasi jig dengan penambahan sensor deteksi dan aktuator pneumatik berhasil menurunkan waktu baku perakitan secara drastis. Waktu baku sebelum perbaikan adalah 5,54 detik/komponen, dan setelah perbaikan turun menjadi 2,57 detik/komponen. Hal ini menghasilkan peningkatan efisiensi waktu sebesar 53,61% serta eliminasi potensi cacat produk lolos ke proses selanjutnya.
