Abstract

The Independent Curriculum has inspired profound changes in the Indonesian education system, emphasizing the importance of adapting to technological advancements. This research aims to explore how the digitalization of Indonesian language learning can be a crucial strategy in forming excellent students in line with the spirit of the Independent Curriculum. The research methodology used is a quantitative survey approach. The main findings indicate that the integration of technology in Indonesian language learning has a positive impact on the accessibility of learning materials, students' language abilities, and character development. These results reinforce the idea that digital learning can be an effective means to enhance the quality of Indonesian language education. Practical implications include the development of relevant digital content, training for educators in integrating technology, and collaboration among various stakeholders. Recommendations for further development include further research on practical barriers, the development of diverse digital content, collaborative efforts in digital infrastructure development, and continuous evaluation of the implementation of digitalization in Indonesian language learning

Abstract

Indonesian language learning in the digital era offers significant potential for enhancing students' character. This research explores digital exploration in the context of Indonesian language learning with a focus on improving student character. Qualitative research methods are used with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach based on the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses (PRISMA). Findings from this research highlight the importance of digital literacy, the use of conventional and digital media, and integrated language learning management with a 21st-century approach. The research indicates that the integration of digital technology in Indonesian language learning can enhance creativity, self-directed learning, and students' adaptability skills. However, challenges such as critical thinking inability, declining writing skills, and the effectiveness of online learning are also encountered. Recommendations for future research include further studies on the effectiveness of specific digital media, the development of innovative learning models, and the analysis of trends and innovations in the use of digital technology. Suggestions for educational practitioners include digital literacy training, the development of integrated curricula, and collaboration with technology industries to strengthen the implementation of digital technology in Indonesian language learning.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of sharia banking promotional media innovation based on educational games using Scratch for high school students. Using a quasi-experimental design and one-group pretest-posttest approach, the research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Tambangan, Mandailing Natal Regency, North Sumatra, involving 45 students from grades X, XI, and XII. Results showed a significant increase of 35.2% in Islamic financial literacy scores from pre-test to post-test. Further analysis revealed a substantial increase in understanding of key Islamic banking concepts such as riba (60.6%), mudharabah (81.6%), musyarakah (86.4%), and ijarah (91.0%). The educational game proved to be effective in narrowing the understanding gap between students, as reflected by the decrease in the standard deviation of post-test scores. Factors contributing to the effectiveness of this media include the suitability of Generation Z characteristics, active learning approach, personalization of learning experience, and the use of gamification elements. This research has important implications for curriculum development, teacher training, collaboration with the Islamic banking industry, and policy development related to Islamic financial literacy at the national level. The findings highlight the potential use of gaming technology in improving Islamic financial literacy among the younger generation, supporting the government's efforts in increasing Islamic financial inclusion as outlined in Indonesia's Sharia Economic Masterplan 2019-2024.   Abstrak Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi efektivitas inovasi media promosi perbankan syariah berbasis game edukasi menggunakan Scratch untuk siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Dengan menggunakan desain quasi-experimental dan pendekatan one-group pretest-posttest, penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Tambangan, Kabupaten Mandailing Natal, Sumatera Utara, melibatkan 45 siswa dari kelas X, XI, dan XII. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan sebesar 35,2% dalam skor literasi keuangan syariah dari pre-test ke post-test. Analisis lebih lanjut mengungkapkan peningkatan pemahaman yang substansial terhadap konsep-konsep kunci perbankan syariah seperti riba (60,6%), mudharabah (81,6%), musyarakah (86,4%), dan ijarah (91,0%). Game edukasi terbukti efektif dalam mempersempit kesenjangan pemahaman antar siswa, yang tercermin dari penurunan standar deviasi skor post-test. Faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap efektivitas media ini meliputi kesesuaian dengan karakteristik Generasi Z, pendekatan pembelajaran aktif, personalisasi pengalaman belajar, dan penggunaan elemen gamifikasi. Penelitian ini memiliki implikasi penting untuk pengembangan kurikulum, pelatihan guru, kolaborasi dengan industri perbankan syariah, dan pengembangan kebijakan terkait literasi keuangan syariah di tingkat nasional. Temuan ini menyoroti potensi penggunaan teknologi game dalam meningkatkan literasi keuangan syariah di kalangan generasi muda, mendukung upaya pemerintah dalam meningkatkan inklusi keuangan syariah sebagaimana digariskan dalam Masterplan Ekonomi Syariah Indonesia 2019-2024. Abstract

The advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has significantly transformed the education sector, particularly in enhancing the quality of learning at the senior high school level. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of AI-based learning media in improving students' conceptual understanding, learning motivation, and classroom engagement. A quantitative research approach with a quasi-experimental design was employed, dividing students into an experimental group using AI-based media and a control group employing conventional learning methods. Data were collected through concept comprehension tests, learning motivation questionnaires, and classroom engagement observations. The findings indicate that students utilizing AI-based learning media exhibited a significant improvement in conceptual understanding compared to the control group. Additionally, AI enhanced learning motivation by offering a more interactive and personalized learning experience. In terms of engagement, students in the experimental group participated more actively and explored learning materials more deeply than those using traditional methods. However, the implementation of AI technology in education still faces several challenges, such as school infrastructure readiness, teachers' digital literacy, and accessibility limitations in certain regions. This study recommends the development of educational policies that support the gradual integration of AI into the school curriculum, accompanied by teacher training programs and infrastructure improvements. Abstrak Kemajuan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (AI) telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di tingkat sekolah menengah atas (SMA) dan sederajat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas media pembelajaran berbasis AI dalam meningkatkan pemahaman materi, motivasi belajar, serta keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu (quasi-experiment), di mana siswa dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan media berbasis AI dan kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes pemahaman materi, kuesioner motivasi belajar, serta observasi keterlibatan siswa di kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang belajar menggunakan media berbasis AI mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman konsep dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Selain itu, AI mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar dengan memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih interaktif dan personal. Dari segi keterlibatan, siswa dalam kelompok eksperimen lebih aktif dalam berpartisipasi dan mengeksplorasi materi dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional. Meskipun demikian, implementasi teknologi AI dalam pembelajaran masih menghadapi tantangan, seperti kesiapan infrastruktur sekolah, literasi digital guru, serta keterbatasan akses di daerah tertentu. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan adanya kebijakan pendidikan yang mendukung integrasi AI dalam kurikulum sekolah secara bertahap, disertai dengan pelatihan bagi tenaga pengajar dan peningkatan fasilitas infrastruktur pendidikan. Abstract

This study examines the challenges faced by teachers in implementing contextual learning at SMA Negeri 1 Tambangan with a focus on the Learning Community aspect. Using a qualitative approach with a descriptive study method, this study involved 30 teachers through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document studies. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results reveal significant challenges, including difficulties in creating collaborative learning environments, time constraints, challenges in designing relevant learning tasks, student ability gaps, and barriers to technology integration. Contextual factors such as students' socio-economic backgrounds and community expectations also play important roles. Despite facing challenges, some teachers successfully developed innovative strategies. This research highlights the complexity of implementing contextual learning and the need for a systemic approach in educational reform, involving transformation in teaching practices, school structures, and culture

Abstract

This research aims to optimize the use of podcast media in distance learning for extracurricular Youth Scientific Groups (KIR) at SMA Negeri 1 Tambangan, Mandailing Natal Regency. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model. The subject of this study involved 35 KIR member students. Podcast development goes through the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results showed that the developed podcast received a "Very Good" rating from material experts (score 3.55) and media experts (score 3.65). The student response was also very positive with an average score of 3.75. The implementation of podcast media showed a significant increase in student understanding, as evidenced by the N-Gain Score analysis. Media Podcast proves to be a flexible, accessible, and engaging learning medium for students in the context of distance learning. This research contributes to the development of distance learning methods for extracurricular activities, with podcast media as an effective solution in overcoming learning challenges during the pandemic

Abstract

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has brought changes to the learning process, from face-to-face at school to online distance learning called e-learning. The research objective is to describe the implementation of e-learning-based ICT learning using the Google Classroom application during the Covid-19 pandemic in public high schools. The research used a qualitative approach and was conducted on class X MIA students. 1. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation study. Data analysis was carried out, namely data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results showed that the use of the google classroom application made the ICT learning process easier during the covid-19 period. The advantages of the google classroom application as a learning medium are: (1) it has flexibility in terms of time and place; (2) the application is easy to understand and operate; (3) The use of applications is effective and efficient; (4) the learning evaluation process is more accurate. This research concludes that the google classroom application facilitates the ICT learning process during the covid-19 period.

Abstract

This research aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the effectiveness of two prominent educational taxonomies Revised Bloom’s Taxonomy and Simpson/Harrow’s Taxonomy—in fostering higher-order thinking skills and employability competencies among secondary school students, particularly at the high school (SMA) and vocational school (SMK) levels. In response to the demands of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the evolving labor market, which increasingly values adaptable, creative, and skillful individuals, this study addresses the urgent need for pedagogical frameworks that simultaneously promote complex cognitive processes and practical psychomotor abilities. Using a descriptive-qualitative methodology with a comparative analytical approach, the study draws upon primary and secondary literature encompassing theoretical and empirical studies of both taxonomies. Findings indicate that the Revised Bloom’s Taxonomy emphasizes cognitive dimensions, including remembering, understanding, applying, analyzing, evaluating, and creating. Conversely, Simpson/Harrow’s Taxonomy centers on psychomotor development ranging from perception and readiness to guided response, mechanism, complex overt response, adaptation, and origination. These complementary emphases provide a compelling rationale for integrating the two frameworks into a unified pedagogical model. The integration of these taxonomies offers a robust structural foundation for instructional planning, teaching strategy implementation, and comprehensive learning assessment. Practically, this integrated approach fosters a learning experience that not only cultivates critical and creative thinking but also equips students with hands-on skills essential in real-world job contexts. This study recommends the formulation of curriculum policies that incorporate both cognitive and psychomotor dimensions across all educational levels. Furthermore, it encourages the development of interactive learning modules based on an Integrated Taxonomy approach as a pathway for future research and instructional innovation. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam efektivitas dua taksonomi pendidikan Taksonomi Bloom Revisi dan Taksonomi Simpson/Harrow—dalam membangun kompetensi berpikir tingkat tinggi dan keterampilan kerja peserta didik pada jenjang pendidikan menengah, khususnya di SMA dan SMK. Didorong oleh tuntutan Revolusi Industri 4.0 dan kebutuhan dunia kerja akan tenaga kerja yang adaptif, kreatif, dan terampil, riset ini merespons urgensi desain pembelajaran yang mampu mengembangkan kecakapan berpikir kompleks sekaligus keterampilan motorik halus dan kasar secara simultan. Metodologi penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif-deskriptif dengan pendekatan analisis komparatif. Data diperoleh melalui studi pustaka terhadap literatur utama dan sekunder yang memuat kajian teoritik dan empiris tentang dua taksonomi tersebut. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Taksonomi Bloom Revisi menitikberatkan pada dimensi kognitif yang meliputi kemampuan mengingat, memahami, menerapkan, menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan mencipta. Sementara itu, Taksonomi Simpson/Harrow berfokus pada perkembangan keterampilan psikomotorik mulai dari persepsi, kesiapan, respon terbimbing, mekanisme, respons kompleks, adaptasi, hingga orisinalitas. Perbedaan pendekatan ini membuka peluang untuk integrasi pedagogis yang lebih luas dalam rangka menciptakan model pembelajaran yang holistik dan kontekstual. Integrasi kedua taksonomi menawarkan kerangka kerja yang solid dalam perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan strategi pengajaran, serta evaluasi capaian belajar yang lebih utuh. Implikasi praktis dari integrasi ini adalah terbentuknya pengalaman belajar yang tidak hanya mengasah kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif, tetapi juga membekali peserta didik dengan keterampilan kerja nyata yang dibutuhkan di lapangan. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini mencakup pentingnya pengembangan kebijakan kurikulum yang menggabungkan dimensi kognitif dan psikomotorik dalam setiap jenjang pendidikan, serta pengembangan modul pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Taksonomi Terintegrasi sebagai langkah lanjutan riset. Abstract

Studi penelitian pendahuluan ini membahas tentang kebutuhan media pembelajaran bagi guru dan siswa di Sekolah menengah Kejuruan. Studi penelitian pendahuluan ini terdiri atas studi lapangan dan studi literatur. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah ; 1) Mengetahui kebutuhan Guru akan media pembelajaran yang sesuai dan dapat membantu siswa memahami konsep Jaringan Komputer; 2) kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru di lapangan selama mengajarkan materi Jaringan Komputer; 3) untuk mengetahui apa media pembelajaran yang perlu dikembangkan pada Jaringan Komputer. Model dalam penelitian ini adalah model 4D (empat-D) yang dikembangkan oleh S. Thiagarajan et al. Ada empat langkah dalam model 4D (empat-D) ini, adalah sebagai berikut: define (define phase), desain (fase desain), kembangkan (fase pengembangan), dessiminate (fase dessiminate). Penilaian kebutuhan dilakukan pada fase define. Penilaian kebutuhan dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen penilaian kebutuhan dalam bentuk quisionaire, melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa: 1) Guru dan siswa sudah memanfaatkan media dalam pembelajaran, tetapi dalam pelaksanaannya masih sering menggunakan model ceramah,diskusi dan penugasan; 2) konsep materi jaringan dasar merupakan material yang sulit untuk disampaikan, khususnya pada material abstrak. Guru membutuhkan media pembelajaran untuk visualisasi dan dapat mendemonstrasikan materi, serta guru dapat mengajar secara efektif; 3) media pembelajaran yang perlu dikembangkan pada Jaringan Komputer adalah media pembelajaran berbasis animated demonstration, sehingga siswa dapat lebih mudah memahami materi pembelajaran menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis animated demonstration.

Abstract

Ronggeng Pasaman is a traditional art form that holds significant cultural value and plays an important role in preserving the cultural identity of the Pasaman community. This study explores the traces of diaspora within the musical elements of Ronggeng Pasaman and how global music appropriation shapes creativity and local cultural identity. Ronggeng Pasaman not only preserves traditional aspects but also actively integrates global musical influences into a more contemporary artistic form. Through creative appropriation, the Pasaman community successfully blends external influences with local wisdom, creating an art form that remains relevant in today's globalized world. The study also provides recommendations for the preservation and revitalization of Ronggeng Pasaman, including cultural documentation, cultural education, and community empowerment, as efforts to ensure the sustainability of Ronggeng Pasaman amidst the currents of globalization. Abstrak Ronggeng Pasaman merupakan salah satu bentuk kesenian tradisional yang kaya akan nilai budaya dan memiliki peran penting dalam menjaga identitas budaya masyarakat Pasaman. Penelitian ini mengkaji jejak diaspora dalam nada kesenian Ronggeng Pasaman dan bagaimana apropriasi musik global membentuk kreativitas serta identitas budaya lokal. Ronggeng Pasaman tidak hanya mempertahankan aspek-aspek tradisional, tetapi juga mengadaptasi elemen-elemen musik global yang diintegrasikan secara aktif dalam bentuk kesenian yang lebih kontemporer. Melalui proses apropriasi yang kreatif, masyarakat Pasaman berhasil menggabungkan pengaruh luar dengan kearifan lokal, menciptakan suatu bentuk seni yang tetap relevan dalam dunia global saat ini. Penelitian ini juga memberikan rekomendasi langkah-langkah pelestarian dan revitalisasi ronggeng Pasaman, termasuk dokumentasi budaya, pendidikan budaya, dan pemberdayaan komunitas seni, sebagai upaya untuk memastikan kelangsungan eksistensi ronggeng Pasaman di tengah arus globalisasi. Kata kunci: Apropriasi musik, Diaspora budaya, Kesenian tradisional, Ronggeng Pasaman.
