Abstract

This study investigates fathers’ unique contributions to the cognitive and emotional development of young children a dimension of early childhood education often overshadowed by maternal-focused research. It examines the evolving role of fathers from traditional authority figures to responsive play partners, the adaptive interaction strategies they employ, and the developmental outcomes of their engagement. Using a qualitative exploratory case study design, data were collected from 12 purposively selected fathers in Teluk Rendah Pasar Village, Tebo Regency, through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Thematic analysis validated through source triangulation (fathers, mothers, and children) revealed three major findings. First, fathers experienced a meaningful transformation toward emotionally engaged and pedagogically responsive caregivers. Second, they developed adaptive strategies emphasizing intentional quality time, play integration into daily routines, and symbolic family rituals such as “Saturday morning adventures.” Third, paternal play fostered children’s cognitive growth (problem-solving, focus) and socioemotional competence (self-regulation, confidence, and social skills). These findings highlight the educational significance of paternal play as a catalyst for holistic child development and call for father-education initiatives and family-friendly workplace policies that support sustained paternal engagement in early learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh environmental, social, governance (ESG) disclosure, kualitas audit, dan profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan pada sektor energi dan barang baku yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode 2020–2023. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data sekunder berupa annual report dari 112 sampel data perusahaan dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purpose sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan software SPSS 25 dengan metode analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu uji statistic deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik (normalitas, multikoliearitas, heteroskedastisitas), analisis linear berganda, uji statistic (t), uji simultan (F), dan koefisien determinasi (R2). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas audit dan profitabilitas berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, sedangkan governance disclosure berpengaruh negatif signifikan. Sementara itu, environmental dan social disclosure tidak terbukti berpengaruh signifikan. Secara simultan variabel environmental, social, governance (ESG) disclosure, kualitas audit, dan profitabilitas terbukti terdapat pengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa faktor keuangan internal dan kredibilitas audit lebih dipertimbangkan investor dibandingkan pengungkapan ESG di pasar modal Indonesia. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini adalah perusahaan perlu meningkatkan profitabilitas dan menjaga kualitas audit eksternal sebagai sinyal kredibilitas kepada investor, sekaligus melakukan pengungkapan ESG yang lebih substantif agar memiliki nilai tambah. Kebaharuan penelitian terletak pada kombinasi analisis ESG disclosure, kualitas audit, dan profitabilitas secara simultan pada sektor energi dan barang baku di tengah periode krisis dan transisi energi 2020–2023, serta pada temuan berbeda bahwa governance disclosure justru berdampak negatif terhadap nilai perusahaan.

Abstract

Background: Violence against women is a global public health problem, with an estimated one in three women experiencing physical, emotional, or sexual violence. Approximately one in three women worldwide have experienced physical or sexual violence. Intimate partners have the right to beat their female partners, violence experienced by women is often underreported. Purpose: to describe the causal factors that contribute to violence against women. Methods: Systematic review method, data sources, study selection, search, eligibility criteria, data collection, and literature taxonomy. These articles were published over a 6-year period from 2018 to 2023 with selection using PRISMA. the results found 12 articles that had been studied extensively to map the research area. Results: 61 variables consisting of two parts, namely demographic characteristics and factors that contribute to the cause were studied in the article. Based on the results of the article analysis, it was found that the dominant factors studied, and had a significant relationship to the occurrence of violence against women included: 1) age; 2) women's education; 3) place of residence; 4) family income; and 5) women's work. Conclusion: Based on the findings, the dominant factors are very important to be followed up in further research with an artificial intelligence (AI) approach using machine learning, which is an interdisciplinary collaboration, especially in the field of women's reproductive health, in line with the emphasis of the digital era on the use of AI.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk (a) meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang pengelolaan keuangan usaha kecil dan mikro, (b) memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat desa terhadap metode meningkatkan pendapatan, (c) menumbuhkan kemandirian bagi masyarakat setempat dalam berusaha dalam upaya meningkatkan usaha kecil dan mikro menjadi usaha menengah. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian adalah memberikan bimbingan berupa pengetahuan, konsultasi, dan pelatihan kepada masyarakat khususnya para pelaku usaha mikro dan kecil dapat diimplementasikan pada usahanya. Hasil kegiatan yaitu pelaku UMKM mampu memahami dan melakukan pencatatan pemasukan kas dan pengeluaran kas yang baik dan benar dan juga pelaku UMKM mampu memahami petunjuk-petunjuk sederhana dalam melakukan penyusunan laporan keuangan yang baik dan benar. Dengan kesimpulan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pengelolaan keuangan serta peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap metode dalam meningkatkan pendapatan dan juga menumbuhkan kemandirian bagi masyarakat setempat dalam upaya meningkatkan usaha kecil dan makro menjadi udaha menengah.

Abstract

This research looks at the influence of human resource competence and innovation on small and medium-sized micro-enterprises. The study uses a quantitative approach by testing hypotheses using statistics. Calculations are done based on statistical formulas with the help of the Smart PLS 2.0M3 application. The study uses a survey method, i.e., collects data from specific natural locations, but the researchers implement treatments in data collection by distributing tables, questions, structured tests, and interviews. The sample for the study was 65 respondents. The results of this study are: (1) The influence of market orientation on human resource competence has a positive and significant value. It is seen from the relationship between variables of 63,534 > 1.96. (2) There is a positive and significant influence between market orientation towards MSME innovation, it is seen from the relationship between variables 4,145 > 1.96. (3) There is a positive and significant influence between human resource competencies on MSME innovation. This is evident from the relationship results between variables 15,149 > 1.96. (4) There is a positive and significant influence between market orientation and human resource competence on MSME innovation. This is seen from the relationship results between variables of 78,683 > 1.96.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of compensation and internal control on employee performance. This research was conducted at PT. Hasrat Abadi branch kendari. The sample in this research is as much as 20 responden by using sample saturation that is sample determination technique with all member of population used as sample. Methods of data collection is done by using questionnaires that have been distributed to all respondents. Technique analysis using multiple linear regression analysis method. The results of this study indicate that the compensation effect partially and significantly on employee performance, Internal controls influence partially but not significant to employee performance. Compensation and internal control simultaneously affect employee performance. This means the fairer the compensation and the better the company's internal control can improve employee performance.

Abstract

This research investigates the psychological factors influencing students when using YouTube videos as a medium for learning English in the classroom setting. Adopting a qualitative method with a narrative inquiry approach, the study examines how YouTube impacts students’ motivation, interest, attitudes, talents, intelligence levels, and anxiety, along with the obstacles they encounter. Data were gathered through in-depth interviews with ten eighth-grade students from SMP Hidayatullah Martapura, South Kalimantan, who learned English through YouTube videos shared by their teacher. The results indicate that YouTube videos noticeably enhance students' psychological engagement in learning English. The majority of students experienced increased motivation, greater interest, and more positive attitudes toward the content. The audiovisual nature of the videos was found to aid comprehension and alleviate learning anxiety. Despite these benefits, challenges such as limited technological access, inconsistent internet connection, disruptive ads, and difficulty in locating suitable educational material were also identified. This study emphasizes that while YouTube videos can be a powerful tool in language learning, their success relies on carefully selected content, active teacher involvement, and adequate infrastructure. The findings provide important insights for educators, schools, and researchers seeking to use digital media to improve language acquisition in a psychologically aware and effective way.
