Abstract

Stunting is a condition in which a child's body fails to grow due to chronic malnutrition so that the child's age is too short. The prevalence of stunting in children under five according to the World Health Organization (WHO) is the country with the third highest prevalence in the Southeast Asia/South-East Asia Regional (SEAR) region, the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia in children under five in 2017 was 36.4% and in 2018 it was 30.8%. One of the stunting preventions can be provided by providing complementary foods from 6-24 months. By holding a workshop related to making complementary foods to prevent stunting, this workshop aims to provide insight to Sidoraharjo residents about the importance of knowledge in compiling complementary foods, and how to make them, as well as preparing the complementary food process. 87.8% and 16.2% increase in knowledge.

Abstract

Marriage is conducted with the aim of establishing a household between partners, requiring maturity and responsibility both physically and mentally. According to the 2017 Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey (SDKI) for East Java Province, 17 percent of women of reproductive age (20–24 years) were married by the age of 18, while two percent reported marrying at the age of 15. Islamic boarding schools (Pesantren) face similar issues regarding early marriage. Many students are forced to drop out of both formal schools and Pesantren due to the constraints of a still conservative socio-cultural environment. The community service program was conducted from May to September 2024 at Pondok Pesantren X, located in Krembung District, Sidoarjo Regency. A total of 17 Santri Husada participated in the activities. Strengthening the role of Santri Husada and improving their knowledge and attitudes toward the maturation of marriage age (Pendewasaan Usia Perkawinan or PUP) are essential. Education through peer educators has been shown to positively impact Santri Husada knowledge on stunting (88.2%), reproductive health (82.4%), and the maturation of marriage age (88.2%). Additionally, this initiative has encouraged behavioral changes among students, particularly in managing the cleanliness and organization of their sleeping environment.

Abstract

Merokok merupakan tindakan menghirup dan menghembuskan asap yang berasal dari tanaman yang dihisap. Merokok sudah banyak dilakukan oleh remaja. Remaja merupakan masa kanak-kanak dan dewasa dari usia 10 hingga 19 tahun. Pada tahap ini merupakan tahap perkembangan yang unik dan penting dalam membuat dasar kesehatan yang baik. Pondok pesantren merupakan lembaga pendidikan dan lembaga sosial keagamaan yang menjadi barometer dalam pertahanan moralitas masyarakat di lingkungannya. Pengabdian Masyarakat terkoordinasi oleh Unit Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (UPPM) FK UNUSA berkoordinasi dengan LPPM mengadakan seminar kesehatan pendampingan kader kesehatan dalam sosialisasi stop merokok di PP Wahid Hasyim Bangil. Seminar ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendidikan kesehatan tentang stop merokok dikalangan remaja. Pengabdian masyarakat dilakaksanakan dengan webinar melalui platform zoom meeting dengan menggunakan metode ceramah dan tanya jawab. Kelompok sasaran pada kegiatan ini adalah santri PP Wahid Hasyim Bangil. Dilakukan pretest dan posttest dan hasil dianalisa menggunakan Wilcoxon. Hasil menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku merokok. Perbedaan pretest dan posttest pengetahuan memiliki nilai p Value 0,012, hasil pretest dan posttest sikap memiliki nilai p value 0,011 dan perilaku memiliki p value 0,011. Seminar kesehatan yang dilakukan memberikan dampak positif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan pengetahuan, sikap, perilaku.

Abstract

Introduction: The development of industrialization in Indonesia has a fairly high level of development. These developments can give rise to new industry challenges and problems. One of them is the risk of work accidents in the work environment. Objective: This study aims to describe the risk of work accidents based on the HIRADC method in the manufacturing sector in Indonesia.  Method: This study is a literature review. The data sources obtained come from various databases, namely Google Scholar and the Garuda Portal in the 2017-2021 period. Result and Discussion: The results of the literature review show that physical hazards that are found in various industries such as, industries such as slipping, noise, falls and chemical hazards are hazards that are often found in basic and chemical industries.  Conclusion: The conclusion of this literature review describes the process of occupational risk analysis based on OHSAS 18001:2007. There are 5 types of hazards in the manufacturing sector. The classification of risks with high or extreme risks is the top priority to be given control. The use of HIRADC based on OHSAS 18001:2007 in the manufacturing sector shows that there are conditions that are not optimally carried out.

Abstract

Introduction: BPJS Kesehatan created a chronic disease management program (Prolanis) to prevent complications of chronic diseases. But in fact, the implementation of prolanis is still not running optimally as evidenced by this activity has not shown a good impact on the community. Objective: This review literature aims to identify constraints in the implementation of chronic disease management programs (Prolanis) at the Center for Public Health.  Method: This study is a literature review. The data sources used are from google scholar and garuda portals in the 2017-2022 times frame. The keywords used are constraints, chronic disease management programs, prolanis, Public Health Centers.  Result and Discussion: The results of the study showed 10 aspects of communication, namely lack of coordination, clarity in delivering success indicators, and lack of socialization. The human resources aspect of 12 articles is the lack of quantity and quality of officers. The funding aspect was obtained by 12 articles, namely the process of submitting and disbursing old claims and withdrawing service fees.  Conclusion: from this literature review, it is found that the implementation of the Center for Public Health in implementing the prolanis program in Indonesia has not run optimally.  Advice improves routine health promotion every month

Abstract

Pondok pesantren sebagai lembaga pendidikan berasrama sering menghadapi tantangan kebersihan dan kesehatan lingkungan, termasuk tingginya kasus scabies dan rendahnya kebiasaan memilah sampah di kalangan santri. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan santri Pondok Pesantren An Nahdloh, Malaysia, melalui intervensi edukasi terkait Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) serta pengelolaan sampah. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan metode pra–pasca intervensi menggunakan kuesioner kepada 35 santri, disertai sosialisasi interaktif, demonstrasi enam langkah cuci tangan, serta praktik pemilahan sampah. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan, nilai rata-rata PHBS naik dari 49,65 menjadi 96,8, dan pengelolaan sampah dari 57,69 menjadi 97,56. Program ini terbukti efektif menumbuhkan kesadaran dan kebiasaan hidup bersih, serta berpotensi menjadi model berkelanjutan dalam menciptakan lingkungan pesantren yang sehat dan ramah lingkungan.
