Abstract

Era digital yang berkembang pesat menuntut Siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) untuk memiliki kemampuan dalam merencanakan pendidikan dan karier secara mandiri serta berbasis informasi. Pemanfaatan platform digital seperti Ruangguru, Zenius, dan portal perguruan tinggi menjadi sarana strategis untuk mengeksplorasi pilihan jurusan kuliah dan prospek karier secara lebih terarah. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital dan pemahaman karier siswa SMKN 1 Cihampelas melalui seminar edukatif bertajuk "Pengenalan Platform Online untuk Mengeksplorasi Jurusan Kuliah dan Prospek Karier". Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan Community-Based Research (CBR), yang melibatkan siswa sebagai mitra aktif dalam setiap tahap. Sebanyak 100 siswa kelas XI dan XII mengikuti seminar yang mencakup pre-test, penyampaian materi, dan post-test, serta sesi evaluatif. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif deskriptif dan kualitatif naratif untuk mengukur efektivitas intervensi. Analsisi data ini dipilih untuk memberikan gambaran yang menyeluruh tentang efektivitas intervensi dari perspektif peningkatan pengetahuan, pengalaman, dan persepsi peserta. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa 80% peserta mengalami peningkatan pemahaman terkait pentingnya platform digital dalam perencanaan pendidikan dan karier. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa intervensi edukatif berbasis teknologi dapat menjadi solusi relevan dalam menjembatani kesenjangan informasi serta membekali siswa dengan keterampilan abad 21 yang dibutuhkan dalam mengambil keputusan akademik dan profesional secara lebih bijak. Implikasi penelitian ini sebagai bahan pengayaan bagi guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam memberikan layanan tentang Optimalisasi Pemanfaatan Platform Digital untuk Eksplorasi Minat Studi dan Karier bagi Siswa.

Abstract

Background: Parental parenting styles play a crucial role in children's personality development, influencing various aspects such as self-esteem, independence, and social skills. Objective: The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of parental parenting styles on children's personality development in high school students, focusing on how authoritative, authoritarian, permissive, and neglectful parenting styles affect children's character. Method: This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. Data were collected through questionnaires given to parents and students, as well as interviews to obtain more in-depth information about the parenting styles applied. Data analysis was performed using regression tests to determine the influence of parenting styles on children's personality development. Result: Parental parenting styles have a significant influence on children's personality development. Authoritative parenting is associated with better self-esteem, independence, and social skills, while authoritarian and permissive parenting tends to hinder children's positive development. Conclusion: Good parenting, remarkably authoritative parenting, has a significant influence on the development of a healthy child's personality. Therefore, parents are expected to employ supportive parenting styles, enabling children to develop into independent, confident individuals with strong social skills. Contribution: This study makes a significant contribution to the literature in the field of developmental psychology and family counseling. Abstract

This study aims to explore the integration of multicultural and transformative counseling approaches in counseling practice and their impact on counselee. Using a qualitative reflective-critical approach, the study collected data through in-depth interviews and focus group discussions with counseling practitioners and counselee who have undergone counseling based on both approaches. The results show that, despite challenges in combining techniques from both approaches, counselee reported positive changes in their self-awareness and sense of identity. Practitioners who are sensitive to cultural diversity and adapt their counseling techniques reflectively to meet the needs of counselee are more successful in creating a safe and effective counseling space. This study concludes that the integration of multicultural and transformative counseling can have a significant impact on counselee but requires flexibility and critical reflection from practitioners. The implications of this study highlight the need for ongoing training for practitioners to develop skills in effectively integrating both approaches while considering cultural factors in every counseling session.

Abstract

TikTok has influenced the development of student behavior. Therefore, a service strategy is needed to overcome TikTok addiction in students. This study aimed to determine whether there was a decrease in TikTok addiction in students after being given cognitive-behavioral counseling with the self-instruction method. The researchers employed experimental research with one group pretest-posttest designs as the research design. The research samples consisted of 18 students. The researchers utilized the TikTok addiction scale as the research instrument for collecting the data. The validity result of the instrument was in KMO value of 0.791 with Sig. of 0.000 (0.791 greater than 0.5). The finding of the reliability test in the research instrument was 0.821 based on Alpha coefficient analysis. The researchers employed non-parametric statistics for data analysis of research. Furthermore, the decision H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted based on the Z value of -2.703 (0.005 less than 0.05) by implementing the Wilcoxon test. Therefore, the results showed that there was TikTok addiction among the students after being given cognitive-behavioral counseling with the self-instruction method. The results of this study contributed as enrichment material both theoretically and practically related to the use of cognitive-behavioral counseling with self-instruction method as the basis for counseling services in schools.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) was implemented to support the development of Cirarab Tourism Village, Tangerang Regency, through the use of community-based digital promotional media. The main problems faced by partners include limited understanding of MSMEs in digital marketing and a lack of promotional facilities for tourism villages. The objectives of this activity are to increase the capacity of MSME actors and PKK women's groups in utilizing technology for product promotion and to strengthen the digital identity of the village. The implementation methods included field observations, program formulation, five training sessions (business model canvas, product label design, product photography, digital marketing, and product diversification), assistance in creating a village website, and the production of a tourism profile video. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding and skills in the five training aspects, with achievements ranging from 87% to 95.7%, as well as the creation of an official website and profile video Cirarab Tourism Village. This program has had an impact on strengthening the competitiveness of MSMEs, increasing digital literacy, and establishing sustainable promotional tools. In the future, periodic assistance is needed to ensure that the management of websites, online stores, and promotional content remains consistent and keeps up with digital trends.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology and the widespread use of social media have introduced new challenges for parents in guiding their children's moral development. This study explores the patterns of parental guidance in shaping children's morality within the context of social media use and examines its impact on their moral growth. Employing a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method, the research was conducted with parents residing in Citeureup Village, North Cimahi District. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, and then analyzed using data reduction, validation, and conclusion-drawing techniques. The findings reveal three primary patterns of parental guidance: preventive, persuasive, and collaborative. These strategies are actively utilized by parents to nurture their children's moral awareness in the digital age. The study concludes that parental presence and active engagement play a crucial role in children's moral development—particularly in shaping ethical behavior, social interaction, and a sense of responsibility—ultimately fostering more thoughtful and responsible digital citizens. This research offers valuable insights for parents, educators, and policymakers in developing effective strategies to support moral and character education in the digital era.

Abstract

Despite high internet penetration rates, the benefits of digitalization remain unevenly distributed in Indonesia’s densely populated urban areas. This study investigates RT/RW  Net, a community-driven internet network that has emerged as a grassroots response to the digital divide in Jabodetabek. While often viewed primarily through a legal or technical lens, the socio-economic implications of these networks remain under-explored. Using an interpretive phenomenological approach, this study analyzes data from in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis involving network managers, users, and local community leaders. The findings reveal that residents adopt RT/RW Net primarily due to affordability and flexible payment schemes. Beyond connectivity, these networks function as mechanisms for Community Driven Digital Inclusion (CDDI), fostering social cohesion through "digital gotong royong" and enabling micro-economic activities. However, sustainability is threatened by legal ambiguity and the risk of enforcement actions. The article concludes by recommending a regulatory framework that legitimizes community networks through cooperative licensing models to ensure inclusive digital transformation.

Abstract

Chatbot berbasis Kecerdasan Buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) semakin banyak digunakan di pendidikan tinggi untuk meningkatkan layanan mahasiswa. Namun, masih sedikit kajian yang meneliti faktor-faktor yang mendorong keberlanjutan penggunaan teknologi ini. Lambatnya response oleh layanan kemahasiswaan mendorong pemahaman lebih dalam mengenai determinan niak belernajutan dalam mempergunakan chatbot berbasi AI dengan menerapkan kerangka Technology Continuance Theory (TCT). Penelitian ini mempergunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode sampling purposive dimana data survei dikumpulkan dari 294 mahasiswa dan dianalisis menggunakan Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas informasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap persepsi kemudahan penggunaan, sementara kualitas sistem meningkatkan konfirmasi dan persepsi kegunaan. Namun, kualitas layanan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap persepsi kegunaan. Baik persepsi kegunaan maupun kemudahan penggunaan terbukti berperan penting dalam mendorong niat keberlanjutan penggunaan VARA. Secara teoretis, penelitian ini memperluas penerapan TCT dalam konteks pendidikan tinggi dengan menunjukkan bagaimana kualitas informasi dan kualitas sistem secara bersama-sama membentuk niat keberlanjutan penggunaan. Secara praktis, temuan ini memberikan arahan bagi universitas untuk meningkatkan desain chatbot melalui keakuratan, keandalan, dan kemudahan penggunaan informasi. Penguatan faktor-faktor tersebut sangat penting untuk mendukung transformasi digital yang berkelanjutan dalam layanan mahasiswa.   Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based chatbots are increasingly being adopted in higher education to enhance the quality of academic services. However, research on the factors influencing the sustained use of these technologies remains limited. This study aims to identify the determinants of students’ continuance intention to use AI-based chatbots by applying the Technology Continuance Theory (TCT) framework. This quantitative research used a purposive sampling method, where data were collected from 294 students and analyzed using Partial Least Squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that information quality significantly influences perceived ease of use, whereas system quality enhances both confirmation and perceived usefulness. In contrast, service quality had no significant effect on perceived usefulness. Perceived usefulness and ease of use are key factors in shaping students’ intention to continue using chatbots. This study extends the application of TCT in higher education by demonstrating how information and system quality jointly influence continuance intention. In practice, the results can guide universities in improving chatbot design by ensuring accuracy, reliability, and usability. Strengthening these elements is vital for sustaining the digital transformation of student services.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of digital technologies has reshaped higher education, creating both opportunities and pressures for lecturers, particularly in resource-constrained regions. This study explores the phenomenon of technostress and its impact on lecturers' self-efficacy in Terdepan, Terluar, dan Tertinggal (3T) regions. Based on the Person–Environment Fit Theory and self-efficacy theory, the research investigates how lecturers experience and respond to digital demands amid infrastructure limitations. Using a qualitative phenomenological design, nine lecturers from diverse disciplines participated in in-depth interviews. Thematic analysis revealed five interrelated dimensions: techno-overload, techno-complexity, techno-uncertainty, the mediating role of self-efficacy, and institutional and cultural support. Digitalisation intensified workloads, platform complexity challenged senior lecturers lacking formal training, and unstable systems increased uncertainty. Higher self-efficacy fostered adaptive coping, whereas lower self-efficacy encouraged avoidance strategies. Findings highlight that technostress in underdeveloped higher education settings is not only an individual struggle but also a systemic issue shaped by weak infrastructure, inconsistent institutional support, and cultural dynamics. While self-efficacy strengthens resilience, it cannot offset structural inequities. The study extends the technostress literature in underdeveloped regional contexts and highlights the need for sustained infrastructure investment, structured training, and culturally grounded mentors to support inclusive digital transformation.
