Abstract

Peserta didik tingkat sekolah menengah pertama dari segi perkembangan karier telah memasuki masa eksplorasi.  Pada masa ini mereka telah mampu untuk dapat menentukan arah karier yang diinginkan.  Bukan sekedar keinginan tetapi mereka mulai mempertimbangkan dan mencari informasi terkait karier yang diinginkan tersebut.  Agar karier yang diharapkan dapat terlaksana dengan baik maka diperlukan perencanaan karier  Karier yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini lebih mengarah pada peminatan pendidikan dan pekerjaan.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara spesifik tentang nilai-nilai budaya sunda termasuk implikasi dan aplikasinya pada perilaku komunikasi murid di sekolah tersebut. Untuk menjawab tujuan tersebut, peneliti menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, studi yang berfokus pada kajian budaya dengan pendekatan teori public relations. Penelitian menemukan bahwa penerapan budaya sunda mengandung nilai-nilai ketuhanan, kemandirian, krativitas, tanggung jawab, kerendahan hati, kesopanan dan keramahan serta melahirkan kecintaan terhadap budaya dan tanah air. Nilai-nilai tersebut merepresentasikan brand personality SMA YAS. Hasil penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa terdapat dua aspek yang membuktikan bahwa guru dan murid YAS memiliki pribadi yang soméah, yakni selalu tampil menarik dengan wajah ramah dan murah senyum. Guru dan murid memiliki selera humor yang tinggi. Kesimpulannya bahwa penerapan budaya sunda sebagai Upaya untuk melestarikan kebudayaan sunda yang memiliki nilai yang tinggi.

Abstract

One of the services of Counseling Guidance is in the career field. The purpose of this study is to develop an Instagram-based career media for the career choices of junior high school students at level IX. . The subjects in this study were 35 grade IX students and 3 validator experts to test the feasibility of Instagram media. This study uses the R&D (Research and Development) method which is limited to 7 stages. The data analysis used is a feasibility test to determine the feasibility of Instagram to be used for students' career choices and a t-test used to determine the effectiveness of Instagram on students' career choices. Based on the results of the product feasibility test expert, it was stated that Instagram was in the "very feasible" category to be used as a medium for implementing guidance and counseling services with a percentage score of 80% from material experts, 94% from media experts, and 93% from expert practitioners (teachers). guidance and counseling). In addition, the test results on the student response questionnaire obtained a good percentage score of 93%. Based on the results that have been described, Instagram can be used as a medium for implementing guidance and counseling services in schools to help guidance and counseling teachers when providing services. Seeing the results of the effectiveness test on students' career choices also had significant results 0.00 < 0.05, which means that through Instagram media, students' career choices were found to increase after giving Instagram media.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the process of developing a website-based career media to improve career planning for junior high school students level VIII. This confirms that the right media is needed to support students in improving career planning. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) which aims to develop products in the form of website-based career media. The researcher's data collection technique used observation sheets, validation and questionnaires. In this study the authors used a population of class VIII students totaling 35 people to be tested. The results showed that the Development of Website-Based Career Media to Improve Career Planning for Level VIII Students of SMP Negeri 2 Batujajar showed a feasibility level of 76% and said "Decent". Calculated in parallel from of MediasExpert Test with an average of 78%, the resultsyof the FeasibilityoTest of the Material Expert with an average of 62%, the results of the FeasibilityoTest of the Product Material of the Practitioner respondents withean averagesof 88%, and the results of the Feasibility Testuof the ProductiMaterial of thedstudent response with an average of 85.1%. Stating that in general the development of website-based career media has feasibility in the high category.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the profile or general picture regarding the use of Instagram which is currently popular among teenage students, as well as reducing the level of dependence experienced by teenage students. In this study, the approach used is quantitative with descriptive methods. Sampling was used by random sampling with a total sample of 106 students from one class X Mechatronics department at SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi. The aim of this research is to determine the profile of Instagram dependence among students. There are aspects that are the basis for knowing Instagram dependence, including 4 aspects, namely, Tolerance, Mood Modification, Replase, Conflict. Data collection techniques by conducting an instrument distribution in the form of a questionnaire to students who are the research sample. The research results show that students with Instagram dependence in class X mechatronics are in the High category 15%, Low category 16%, and in the Medium category 69%. After knowing the level of dependence on Instagram among students, the next step is to design programs and provide services based on the results of this research. In providing services, students are directed to carry out interviews to find out whether the services provided are acceptable to students and whether students experience a decrease in their use of Instagram. The next step is to give the posttest to students again so that a comparison can be carried out, so that it can be seen that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted so that it can be concluded that the group guidance service is declared effective

Abstract

Sekolah menengah kejuruan dibentuk untuk menyiapkan lulusan agar dapat langsung bekerja sesuai keahlian yang ditempa selama siswa sekolah.  Namun ternyata tidak semua siswa SMK ingin langsung bekerja, beberapa di antaranya ingin melanjutkan pendidikan namun masih memiliki kebingungan antara mengambil jurusan yang sama atau berbeda dengan jurusan di SMK.  Hal ini terjadi di SMK TI Pembangunan Cimahi.  Sebanyak 18 siswa menyatakan diri untuk mengikuti pendidikan lanjutan. Untuk itu penelitian ini bertujuan agar siswa dapat memantapkan pilihan jurusannya di perguruan tinggi melalui wawancara Genogram.  Genogram merupakan alat yang dapat digunakan untuk mengungkap karier siswa selama tiga generasi, yaitu generasi kakek-nenek, ayah-ibu, siswa.  Metode yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif deskriptif.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kesadaran karier pada siswa Sekolah Dasar kelas 4,5, dan 6. Kesadaran karier (career awareness) merupakan kematangan karier yang perlu dicapai oleh individu dan perlu diberikan pada awal tahun individu di sekolah, yaitu pada tingkat pendidikan dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitaif dengan metode survey. Jumlah sampel penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik slovin. Penentuan sampel penelitian dilakukan dengan cara random sampling.. pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara menyebarkan angket kepada 189 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa pada kelas IV, V, dan VI berada pada kategori tinggi. hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa para siswa di kelas atas telah memiliki kesadaran karier.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the profile of self-confidence of students in level VIII of SMP Negeri 3 Cimahi. This study used a descriptive quantitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of a self-confidence questionnaire given to 74 students from two classes, namely classes VIII-F and VIII-A. The results showed that the profile of self-confidence in level VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Cimahi based on aspects of confidence in their abilities, most students were in the high category, as many as 39 students with a percentage of 53%. Meanwhile, of the five aspects that are most in the very low category, namely in the rational and realistic aspects, there are 13 students with a percentage of 18%. based on the results of the graph, it shows that female students are more in the very low category, totaling 7 while male students are 4 in the very low category. In addition, the difference between classes based on the results of the graph shows that class VIII-A with a percentage of 50.7% and class VIII-F 49.3%. Looking at these results confirms that there is a need for customized strategies to increase student confidence, according to the unique conditions of each class.

Abstract

Genogram as a tool in the counselling process has a long history and is not just a term, but it is based on a clear philosophical foundation. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method that includes primary articles and books. The results of the study indicate that a genogram is a diagrammatic representation of family conditions and information from several generations, which can explain status, work patterns, lifestyle, illness, gender, and other factors. By understanding the good or bad family history, individuals can use this information to anticipate and prevent future problems and guide them to achieve more positive conditions. The use of a genogram in counselling provides deep insight into hereditary patterns and dynamics, helps clients understand interpersonal relationships, and gives them strength to face life's challenges.

Abstract

Career awareness is defined as an individual's understanding of the roles and career paths they can choose, as well as the relationship between personal abilities and preferences with the demands of the workplace. Career awareness is a career development that needs to be achieved by students and needs to be given at the beginning of the school year, namely at the elementary school level. This article aims to describe the level of career awareness in elementary school students in the upper grades, namely starting from grades IV, V, and VI in the form of a general description of the level of achievement obtained by students at each level. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The number of research samples was carried out using random sampling techniques using Slovin calculations. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 189 students in Bandung City. The results showed that most students in grades IV, V, and VI were in the high category. These results indicate that students in the upper grades have career awareness in accordance with the developmental stages that elementary school students should have. This achievement can support students in carrying out career development tasks at the next stage. Efforts that can be made to help develop students' career awareness, especially in schools, include introducing them to various jobs, exploring interests and talents, developing social skills, and using media and direct experience in career teaching.
