Abstract

Physiological conditions are crucial for supporting the performance of futsal athletes who require speed, agility, and endurance. This study aims to determine the effect of integrated ball training on the physical condition of futsal athletes at the Skensa Futsal Academy. The method used was an experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design, involving 30 athletes through total sampling. The training program lasted for six weeks with three sessions per week. Measurements were carried out using the 50-meter run test, the Illinois Agility Run, and the 2400-meter run. Data analysis used the Shapiro–Wilk test, homogeneity test, and paired t-test in SPSS 26. The results showed a significant increase in the experimental group (p < 0.05), indicated by a decrease in time across all tests. The study's results demonstrated the superiority of integrated ball training over traditional methods, as it combines physical and skill components simultaneously.

Abstract

This research is based on the fact that the implementation of physical education learning in elementary schools has not achieved optimal results, because the learning process still tends to be oriented towards conventional approaches, resulting in low motor skill development in students. This study aims to develop a game-based motor skill learning model that utilizes agility ladders. This study used a Research and Development (R&D) approach, adopting the ADDIE model, which consists of five main stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection was conducted through motor skill measurements, accompanied by the use of non-test techniques, including observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation as supporting data. The results showed that the developed model had a high level of feasibility based on expert validation and was able to increase student engagement. However, the effectiveness test results showed an N- Gain value of 0.16, which is considered low. This finding indicates that the model has a positive impact, although its effectiveness is still limited. Therefore, this learning model has the potential to be used as an alternative in physical education learning in elementary schools, with further refinement needed.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of vertical kick training on 15-meter underwater speed in swimming athletes of Tegal Regency. This research used an experimental method with a one group pretest posttest design. The sample consisted of swimming athletes from Tegal Regency who participated in a vertical kick training program for 12 training sessions. Data analysis was carried out using the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, followed by the paired sample t-test to determine the effect of the training program. The statistical analysis was conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics version 32.0. Based on the data analysis, the average pre-test time was 10.4600 seconds, while the average post-test time was 9.9020 seconds. The findings indicated a decrease in time of 0.55800 seconds after the treatment was given. The results showed an improvement in the athletes 15-meter underwater speed after participating in the training program.
