Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze products based on mobile application development in helping teachers record student performance in physical education. Development method was carried out by the following procedure: requirement analysis; initial product development; expert validation; field trials; product revision; and final result. Interview guides, validation sheets, and questionnaire sheets were distributed in data collection process. Expert validation result on the phase I obtained average 76% which is classified as good criteria, and on the phase II obtained average 81,33% which is classified as very good criteria. While on the small scale trial obtained average 69,88% which is classified as good criteria, and on the big scale trial obtained average 79,40% which is classified as good criteria. Conclusion of the study shows that the mobile application product can be used to assist teachers in recording student performance in Physical Education which can be accessed by teachers, students, and parents of students.

Abstract

Pandemi berdampak pada dunia pendidikan. Dimana Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) yang biasanya melakukan pembelajaran secara langsung/luring kini beralih menjadi daring. Perubahan ini tidaklah mudah dilakukan, mengingat karakteristik siswa yang mereka hadapi bermacam-macam dan semuanya memerlukan penanganan khusus. Namun semua guru harus tetap beradaptasi dengan lebih kreatif dalam menyajikan sebuah pembelajaran daring. Oleh karena itu diperlukan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat terhadap permasalahan yang mitra alami melalui pelatihan Pembuatan Channel Youtube Untuk Guru Sekolah Luar Biasa Sebagai Sarana Media Pembelajaran Di Masa Pandemi. Dengan demikian membekali guru di SLB N Kota Salatiga untuk dapat membuat media pembelajaran yang lebih menarik, sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah perencaan, pelaksanaan, monitoring dan evaluasi. Peserta pelatihan diberikan pemahaman konseptual tentang pembuatan Channel youtube sekaligus praktek untuk membuat Channel youtube masing-masing. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan kemampuan guru dalam membuat media pembelarajan daring selama masa pandemi. Diharapkan semua guru nantinya dapat mengembangkan diri melalui pembuatan konten pembelajan yang dikemas menarik melalui media pembelajran daring. Sehingga proses pembelajaran jauh lebih menarik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the readiness of physical education teachers to face the challenges of how they achieve their learning goals in the midst of COVID-19. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, with techniques analyze data by means of questionnaires and interviews. Results of this study indicate that the technical readiness of physical education teachers in elementary schools in Central Java can be interpreted as being ready to face the online learning system. Conclusion for this study show that, the readiness of physical education teachers in technical matters needs to be a concern . As a suggestion for further research of online quizzes that are easily accessible to students as an alternative to assessing student's cognitive needs to be considered. This research can be a source of information for physical education teachers in preparing to provide physical education learning at elementary school due the COVID-19.

Abstract

Kurangnya pengenalan dan edukasi permainan tradisional di sekolah bertaraf internasional menjadi problem tersendiri dalam upaya pelestarian budaya khas Indoensia. Metode pengabdian yang dilakukan meliputi Planning, Screening, Implementation, Evaluation, and Reporting. Pelaksanaan melibatkan semua guru dan siswa di sekolah tersebut. Data dalam kegiatan pengabdian diambil melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa peserta kegiatan pengabdian merasa senang dengan kegiatan yang dilakukan secara langsung praktik dilapangan. Selama proses kegiatan pengabdian, peserta tampak antusias mencoba dan mempelajari enam ragam permainan diantaranya Terompah Panjang, Egrang Batok, Bekelan, Srempengan, Engklek, dan Gasingan.  Melalui pengabdian ini, upaya pelestarian budaya indonesia dapat terlaksana dan terbukti berdampak positif  bagi generasi muda.

Abstract

Education and Introduction Shooting Sports for Elementary and Junior High School Children, which was held on October 26, 2021, in partnership with the Central Java Provincial PERBAKIN Supervisor, is a form of community service by lecturers at the Faculty of Sports Science, Universitas Negeri Semarang. Introducing shooting sports, is one of the solutions to be able to generate student interest in learning shooting sports, in the long term it will have an impact on increasing young shooting athletes in Semarang. The material presented contains basic shooting techniques, various numbers in shooting, facilities and infrastructure, as well as an overview of future achievement opportunities for participants who are interested in pursuing shooting sports. Participants’ response showed enthusiasm by asking some questions. Some said that they got new information and knowledge related to shooting. The conclusion of the service carried out received a positive response from the participants. Suggestions of this service are addressed to the Central Java Provincial PERBAKIN Supervisor, especially in the field of Organization to collaborate with the local education office regularly to hold similar activities for education levels from elementary to high school in order to expand opportunities to continue the generation of shooters in the future

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberi bekal keilmuan dan keterampilan berupa Pencak Silat bagi siswa di SD Labschool UNNES dalam upacaya pencegahan tindak kekerasan dan pelecehan seksual pada anak. Dewasa ini banyak anak mengalami perlakuan yang tidak wajar berupa tindak kekerasan dan pelecehan, yang dilakukan oleh orang-orang terdekat di lingkungannya seperti orang tua atau guru, yang sebenarnya harus memberikan perlindungan serta kasih sayang kepada mereka. Salah satu cara pencegahan tindak kekerasan dan pelecehan seksual terhadap anak yaitu dengan membekali anak dengan teknik beladiri Pencak Silat dan aktivitas fisik. Hal ini bertujuan agar anak dapat melawan dan menjaga diri serta memiliki kondisi fisik yang baik. Pengabdian ini dilakukan secara bertahap. Tahap pertama berupa sosialisasi dengan metode teori atau ceramah. Tahap kedua berupa memberikan aktivitas fisik untuk meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani. Tahap ketiga yakni pelatihan Pencak Silat dan praktik langsung teknik yang telah diajarkan. Tahap keempat berupa refleksi kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan. Hal ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kekurangan atau kelebihan terhadap kegiatan yang telah dilakukan dalam rangka menetapkan rekomendasi terhadap keberlangsungan kegiatan berikutnya. Peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian ini merupakan siswa-siswi kelas 5A dan 5B SD Labschool Unnes dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 40 siswa. Hasil yang didapat dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini yaitu siswa-siswi memiliki pengetahuan dan pengalaman dalam pembelaan diri serta dapat melakukan aktivitas fisik untuk meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani. Pelatihan Pencak Silat dan aktivitas fisik berwawasan konservasi di SD Labschool UNNES mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan pada aspek pengetahuan yang ditunjukkan pada peningkatan pengetahuan baik Pencak Silat dan aktivitas fisik.

Abstract

Identifying talented athletes is crucial for coaching and developing athletic talent in sports. Psychology plays a significant role in influencing athletes’ performance therefore it deserves attention in the identification process. This study aimed to identify potential athletes with the best abilities according to Tarung Derajat’s characteristics through a psychological perspective test. The research employs a survey method with a descriptive quantitative analysis approach. The SPQ20 questionnaire was used as the data collection instrument. The results of the psychological test were converted into percentages to determine the athletes’ potential, ranging from very potential to not potential. The research sample consisted of athletes from the training unit in the Semarang City area. The categorization criteria were based on norms derived from the highest-achieving athletes at the national level in Central Java province, with Tarung Derajat being the highest level. The findings indicated the following percentages for the achievement components: 68% for achievement, 66% for competitiveness, 62.9% for managing pressure, 67.78% for self-efficacy, 63.73% for fear of failure control, 63.83% for stress management, 65.56% for emotion, 70.33% for empathy, 54.40% for power, and 67.73% for aggressiveness. Based on a psychological perspective, this research concludes that 50 athletes (64%) in the training unit demonstrate potential as talented athletes. It is important to note that this study was limited to Tarung Derajat athletes in Central Java Province. The research findings contribute to the Central Java Tarung Derajat Training Centre by facilitating the categorization of athletes’ talent based on psychological aspects. Further, researchwas recommended to explore talent and potential of athletes from other perspectives not covered in this study.

Abstract

Attention to student competence as prospective physical education teachers is very important. Physical education is not only learning about how to maintain health but also how to provide space for students to learn movement skills. Analysis in 2023 shows no laboratory that facilitates a special space for microteaching practice for prospective physical education teacher students at the elementary school level. This research aims to develop a basic physical education movement learning laboratory design for elementary school physical education study program students in 2023. The method used in this research is the research and development method. This type of development research is carried out to produce certain products and test the effectiveness of these products. The results of this research found that the suitability, safety, and usability of the products developed for users received a good response. Five questions addressed to lecturers and students as potential design users showed that on the first question, respondents gave a good response with an average of 72% regarding the placement and use of spatial layout. Next, regarding basic movement coverage, the result was 68.3%. Questions related to the suitability of material outcomes obtained a result of 65.1%. The percentage regarding aspects of ease and safety in use obtained a value of 55%, and regarding the usability and usefulness of the product, a response of 56.5% was obtained. This response concludes that the development product received a good response and support from the lecturers and students of the elementary school physical education study program. Suggestions for further research are the development of a laboratory with the concept of game activities by including elements of tactics and strategy.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan bangsa yang mempunyai banyak ragam budaya yang berbeda-beda. Hal ini merupakan tantangan bagi guru untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan baik tanpa membedakan budaya. Kegiatan pembelajaran harus disesuaikan dengan keberagaman siswa di kelas, pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Aula lantai 02 SD N Sekaran 1 Gunung pati Semarang, diikuti oleh 36 guru olahraga. Disini peran guru adalah merangkul dan menyetarakan perbedaan individu, memberikan pengalaman belajar yang bermakna dan relevan pada siswa. Pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) adalah salah satu pendekatan yang dapat digunakan untuk membantu guru mengajar siswa di lingkungan yang berlatar belakang budaya yang berbeda-beda dan meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa. Permasalahan yang di temukan, Guru belum memahami konsep pendekatan pembelajaran CRT sehingga belum memiliki rancangan pembelajaran maupun media pembelajaran dengan pendekatan CRT. Pengenalan pendampingan guru PJOK mengenai pengalaman belajar pentingnya budaya, pengetahuan berbudaya, melestarikan budaya Indonesia dengan pendekatan pembelajaran CRT dengan membuat modul ajar dan video pembelajaran.

Abstract

Microteaching aims to ensure that students, as prospective educators, deserve to experience real teaching-learning situations. However, in light of recent advancements in educational technology and the increasing integration of online learning, it has been carried out online. This study aims to analyze students' competence in the online microteaching practice. This is classroom action research with three determined indicators as the basis for constructing a Likert scale questionnaire. 132/150 students are participating in this study. A descriptive statistical test was used to analyze the data, and students' opinions were also recorded to strengthen the results. Almost all students (98.4%) pretty much understand the microteaching practice, and quite well (97.7%) understand how to use the online application for online microteaching practice. Also, they are satisfied (99.9%) with the quality of online microteaching practices. In simple real-life learning practices, of the 132 respondents, only 68.1% mastered the characteristics of their students, 60.6% applied learning tools, and 60.6% implemented periodic assessments. We concluded that students' competence towards online microteaching practice is good, and they know the advantages and disadvantages of conducting an online class. However, the skills demonstrated by students in online situations were different and inconsistent with those exhibited in offline settings.
