Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pengembangan atraksi wisata di Kampung Bareto sebagai destinasi wisata budaya dan edukasi berbasis wisata minat khusus. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap pengelola, pemilik, dan wisatawan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permainan tradisional (kaulinan barudak) dan nyanyian rakyat Sunda (kakawihan) tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai ekspresi budaya, tetapi juga sebagai media edukasi yang efektif. Elemen budaya ini mampu menarik wisatawan dengan ketertarikan khusus terhadap budaya lokal serta mendorong pengalaman pembelajaran yang partisipatif. Analisis SWOT mengidentifikasi kekuatan internal berupa keaslian budaya dan keterlibatan masyarakat, serta peluang melalui inovasi atraksi dan kolaborasi lintas sektor. Integrasi antara nilai budaya, pendekatan edukatif, dan partisipasi aktif memungkinkan Kampung Bareto untuk membangun citra sebagai destinasi wisata berbasis minat khusus yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan ilmu pariwisata dengan menekankan pentingnya peran budaya lokal dan keterlibatan wisatawan dalam menciptakan pengalaman wisata yang bermakna. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of facilities and tourist attractions on revisit intention, mediated by tourist satisfaction, at Saung Ciburial Tourism Village, Garut. The type of research used is quantitative with a descriptive–verificative approach. The analytical method employed is path analysis based on Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), as it is appropriate for testing the causal relationships among latent constructs with a relatively small sample size. The research population consists of all tourists visiting Saung Ciburial (population size unknown). The sample comprises 100 respondents obtained through a non-probability sampling technique, namely accidental sampling, involving visitors who met the inclusion criteria during the data collection period. A Likert-scale questionnaire instrument was used to measure tourists’ perceptions of facilities, attractions, satisfaction, and revisit intention. The research location is Saung Ciburial Tourism Village, Garut Regency, West Java. The analysis results show that facilities and attractions significantly affect satisfaction; satisfaction significantly influences revisit intention; and there are indirect effects of facilities and attractions on revisit intention through satisfaction. These findings underscore the importance of improving the quality of facilities and attraction management oriented toward satisfaction to encourage repeat visits. Abstract

Garut Regency holds considerable potential for ecotourism development, yet faces a persistent implementation gap characterized by poor infrastructure, environmental degradation, and weak policy enforcement, despite supportive regulations. This study aims to comprehensively analyze the internal and external factors influencing Garut's ecotourism and formulate integrated green tourism strategies to address this gap. Employing a qualitative descriptive case study approach, data were obtained through literature review and policy document analysis, including scholarly articles, local policy documents (e.g., RIPPDA, strategic plans), and other credible secondary sources. The data were analyzed using qualitative content analysis within a SWOT framework. The findings indicate that while Garut benefits from diverse natural and cultural resources and a rising interest in green tourism, infrastructural deficiencies, substandard services, environmental threats, and lax law enforcement offset these strengths. To overcome these barriers, four strategic directions are proposed: (1) strengthening governance and policy enforcement, (2) promoting community-based ecotourism, (3) developing green infrastructure and service quality standards, and (4) executing authentic green marketing initiatives. This study underscores the urgency of closing the implementation gap. It offers actionable recommendations for stakeholders including government, communities, and the private sector to promote authentic and sustainable ecotourism practices at the local level.

Abstract

Facilities and price are among the key factors that influence public interest in a tourist destination. This study aims to analyze the influence of facilities and price on tourists' visiting interest at Binar Alam View, a tourism destination in Garut Regency. The research employed a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 30 visitors at the site. The results showed that facilities had a positive and significant influence on visiting interest, while price did not have a significant effect. Simultaneously, both variables significantly influenced visiting interest with a coefficient of determination of 45.2%. These findings indicate that the quality of facilities is the primary factor affecting tourists' intention to visit, while price tends to be a secondary consideration as long as it is perceived as fair.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh Influencer Marketing serta User-Generated content (UGC) terhadap Purchase Discisions Generasi Z pada platform TikTok, dengan Brand Trust berperan sebagai variabel mediasi. Data diperoleh dari 405 responden melalui purposive sampling dan dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) dengan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 4.0. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Influencer Marketing dan UGC memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui mediasi Brand Trust, terhadap Purchase Discisions Generasi Z di TikTok.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as a strategic tool for service quality management within housekeeping operations in an international five-star hotel. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach based on direct observation and semi-structured interviews conducted during a one-year on-the-job training period. Data were analyzed through thematic categorization to identify patterns related to SOP compliance, supervisory control, workflow structuring, and quality assurance mechanisms. The findings indicate that structured SOP implementation enhances operational consistency, minimizes service variability, and strengthens preventive quality control systems. Supervisory inspections, checklist-based monitoring, and interdepartmental coordination contribute significantly to service reliability and guest satisfaction. Furthermore, SOP functions not only as an operational guideline but also as a strategic risk management mechanism in maintaining service excellence. This study highlights the strategic contribution of housekeeping operations to overall hotel competitiveness and reinforces the importance of standardized procedures in achieving sustainable service quality.

Abstract

This study was designed to examine Brand Image as an intervening variable in Purchase Decisions for Scarlett Whitening products influenced by Celebrity Endorsement. The background of this study shows that the development of digital technology has encouraged the massive use of celebrity endorsements in marketing strategies, but there is a gap in understanding regarding their effectiveness in shaping brand image and influencing purchasing decisions. This study adopts a quantitative approach using descriptive and causal methods. Primary data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to 96 respondents who are users of Scarlett Whitening, selected using the Lemeshow formula. The study employs Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using the SmartPLS software. Based on the research, Celebrity Endorsement has a very strong positive influence on Brand Image, and Brand Image has a positive influence on Purchase Decision. Additionally, Celebrity Endorsement also influences Purchase Decision directly and indirectly through Brand Image as an intervening variable. These findings demonstrate the importance of building a strong brand image through celebrity endorsement strategies to enhance consumer Purchase Decision.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di wisata kuliner Kerkof Garut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji hubungan antara daya tarik wisata dengan kepuasan wisatawan dalam konteks wisata kuliner Kerkof Garut. Metode analisis yang diterapkan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (SEM PLS). Dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada seratus responden yang pernah merasakan wisata kuliner Kerkof Garut, diperoleh data populasi dan sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel penelitian memiliki validitas dan reliabilitas yang baik, karena hasilnya menunjukkan nilai yang lebih tinggi dari syarat uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Pengaruh daya tarik wisata terhadap kepuasan wisatawan memiliki hubungan yang sangat kuat. Selain itu, hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa kesenangan pengunjung dipengaruhi secara signifikan dan positif oleh daya tarik wisata.

Abstract

Although interest in green tourism in Indonesia continues to increase, evidence at the district level, especially in secondary destinations, is still limited. Most previous research has focused on primary destinations such as Bali and Yogyakarta, while evidence-based studies in areas such as Garut are still rare. This study offers a novelty by analysing the potential, opportunities, and challenges of green tourism development in Garut Regency through a descriptive-qualitative approach and SWOT framework based on secondary data. Garut has an authorised capital in the form of 12 main destinations, ranging from volcanic landscapes (Mount Papandayan), lakes (Situ Bagendit), the south coast, to cultural heritage (Cangkuang Temple and leather crafts Sukaregang). However, data from DLH Garut shows that the scope of waste management has only reached 17%, which confirms the gap between potential and implementation in the field. The findings of this study identify four main challenges: (I) Poor Solid Waste Management, (ii) lack of measurable targets for water and energy conservation, (iii) uneven supporting infrastructure, and (iv) low community participation. This study provides a real contribution to local governments in formulating environmental policies and sustainable tourism, for tourism actors to adopt environmentally friendly practices and green certification, and for academic literature as a reference for the development of green tourism in secondary destinations in Indonesia.
