Abstract

The disruption era has presented a dynamic pattern of life in all aspects; this has also touched the realm of national and state life. Generation Z, or the younger generation as supporters of the nation's future, is one part of life experiencing turmoil and disruption. Digital activities close to the younger generation have resulted in many positive and negative things. This is a good catalyst for the nation's progress and a bigger challenge in national life. Instilling nationalism as part of the nation's character values for the younger generation is necessary and must be instilled massively and sustainably to keep the younger generation from leaving the values of a good life that have long been adhered to by the Indonesian nation. Based on this, the service team from Universitas Bangka Belitung considers that strengthening nationalism for Generation Z needs to be conveyed through socialization steps to increase understanding and internalization of national character values.

Abstract

Kegiatan dengan tajuk Penanaman Karakter Bela Negara Siswa Madrasah Tsanawiah Nurul Falah Kimak sejatinya merupakan bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan sasaran siswa Madrasah Tsanawiah Nurul Falah Kimak. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter bela negara bagi generasi penerus bangsa yang dapat mengemban tanggung jawab sebagai pemimpin di masa yang akan datang. Adapun alasan mengambil topik terkait Penanaman Karakter Bela Negara Siswa Madrasah Tsanawiah Nurul Falah Kimak ini adalah sebagai bentuk kepedulian warga negara dalam menanamkan karakter bela Negara kepada siswa agar siap menghadapi tantangan. Tim pengabdi menilai bahwa eksistensi siswa tidak hanya berperan sebagai generasi penerus bangsa saja namun lebih daripada itu, siswa harus dapat berperan aktif dalam mencegah ancaman, gangguan, hambatan serta menjawab tantangan perkembangan zaman. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode sosialisasi secara langsung dengan diakhiri kegiatan diskusi. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini diukur melalui beberapa pertanyaan dalam bentuk kuisioner, yang pada akhirnya menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa siswi mengenai konsep dan nilai-nilai karakter bela negara.

Abstract

English language skills of students are an important part of the quality of student learning in schools. This is considered important to support student competence as competent human resources in facing global progress. However, the low average English language score index still occurs in several schools, including Sekolah Alam Pangkal Pinang. Based on this, a Workshop on Developing Innovative Learning Models for Teachers and Implementing Innovative Learning Media was held by implementing more creative, innovative, and progressive learning models and methods at Sekolah Alam Pangkal Pinang. This activity was carried out using the service learning method through four stages of implementation, starting from investigation, preparation, action, and reflection. The results of this service implementation were the implementation of innovative learning models and methods by English teachers at Sekolah Alam Pangkal Pinang with improved learning outcomes based on the evaluation results carried out by the service team.

Abstract

Abstrak Keberagaman Agama warga negara Indonesia sangat besar dengan ditandai dengan adanya enam agama yang diakui oleh negara secara administratif dan hukum. Proses menjaga harmonisasi keberagaman agama harus didukung dengan berbagai cara, khususnya di sekolah. Konsep inilah yang harus disampaikan kepada masyarakat Indonesia, khususnya generasi mudanya seperti siswa di sekolah karena merupakan sebagai tulang punggung kemajuan negara Indonesia di masa yang akan datang. Melalui penelitian ini yang dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Puding Besar diharapkan dapat menjadi sarana penguatan karakter dalam moderasi beragama dalam mengatasi berkembangnya pemahaman dan pengamalan keagamaan yang berlebihan yang menyasar generasi muda khususnya siswa di sekolah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Metode penelitian ini dianggap sangat sesuai untuk menggali masalah dan mendapatkan jawaban atas setiap pertanyaan yang ada. Hasil dari penelitian ini, dalam mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, diperlukannya kolaborasi antara sekolah, masyarakat serta lembaga terkait. Salah satu yang dilakukan dengan mengadakan berbagai acara seperti kegiatan pembekalan wawasan kebangsaan, Pekan Gelar Karya Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila, serta ceramah keagamaan. Abstract The religious diversity of Indonesian citizens is very large, marked by the existence of six religions that are recognized by the state administratively and legally. The process of maintaining the harmony of religious diversity must be supported in various ways, especially in schools. This concept must be conveyed to the Indonesian people, especially the younger generation such as students in schools because they are the backbone of the progress of the Indonesian nation in the future. Through this research conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Puding Besar, it is hoped that it can be a means of strengthening character in religious moderation in overcoming the development of excessive religious understanding and practice that targets the younger generation, especially students in schools. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with a case study method through observation, interview, and documentation study techniques. This research method is considered very appropriate for exploring problems and getting answers to every question that exists. The results of this study, in overcoming these problems, collaboration is needed between schools, the community and related institutions. One of the things that is done is by holding various events such as national insight provision activities, the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project Work Exhibition Week, and religious lectures

Abstract

The diversity of religions adhered to by Indonesian citizens is very high, characterized by the existence of six religions that are administratively and legally recognized by the state. This has become a gift from God that must be guarded and cared for properly so that differences do not trigger the growth of division. The process of maintaining harmonization of religious diversity needs to be supported in various ways, one of which is by strengthening the character of religious moderation in citizens. Religious moderation is a perspective, attitude, and behavior that takes a middle position, characterized by acting fairly and not being extreme in religion. This is a concept that needs to be instilled in Indonesian citizens, especially the younger generation as the backbone of the nation's progress in the future. Through community service carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Puding Besar, it is hoped that this can be a means of strengthening the character of religious moderation in generation Z in the Bangka Belitung Islands province, as one of the regions that also has high religious diversity. The implementation of service is carried out using socialization methods and group games, this is intended to support the goals and hopes to be achieved in service activities, namely the growth of attitudes of tolerance and cooperation.
