Abstract

This research aims to analyze which factors are most determining in influencing interest in using pay-later. This type of research is multivariate analytical research using a quantitative approach. All pay-later service customers who engage in e-commerce make up the study's population. Purposive sampling and non-probability sampling were employed in the sample-taking process based on this study. There are one hundred samples. Researchers have made observations to gather data. The author intends to employ principal component analysis and maximum likelihood estimation techniques for data analysis. Following the completion of the study, the following findings were made. The principal component analysis method's RMSE value is 0.02. The maximum likelihood estimates method's root mean square error is 0.015. Therefore, it can be said that the principal component analysis approach is appropriate for usage because it can explain factor formation due to its strong factor loading value and low RMSE value. The influence of advantages is the most important element determining interest in pay-later utilizing the principal component analysis method since it has the highest loading factor value in decision-making.

Abstract

Fungsi Dan Makna Hiou Pada Acara Pernikahan Adat Simalungun Di Nagori Negeri Dolok Kecamatan Silou Kahean Kabupaten Simalungun, Skripsi, Jurusan Pendidikan IPS Program Studi Pendidikan Sejarah Fakultas Keguruan Dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Simalungun. Hiou adalah sejenis pakaian seni yang terbuat dari potongan kain khas Batak, memiliki corak dan dimensi tertentu, dan berfungsi sebagai pelindungan bagi tubuh. hiou mulai dikenal bersamaan dengan masuknya alat tenun di Indonesia dari Indonesia. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa sebelum adanya alat tenun, masyarakat Batak. Nama hiou Batak merujuk pada ukuran besaran hiou, serta teknik pembuatan dan pengecetan hiasan pada hiou. Masalah utama dalam penelitian adalah apa itu fungsi dan makna hiou dalam konteks pernikahan adat Simalungun di Nagori Negeri Dolog Kecamatan Silou Kahean Kabupaten Simalungun dengan mengetahui fungsi dan makna hiou dalam konteks pernikahan adat Simalungun di Nagori Negeri Dolog Kecamatan Silou Kahean Kabupaten Simalungun. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatatan studi kasus. Studi kasus yang merupakan bagian dari metode kualitatif yang hendak mendalami suatu kasus tertentu secara lebih mendalam dengan melibatkan pengumpulan beraneka sumber informasi. Creswell mendefinisikan studi kasus sebagai suatu eksplorasi dari sistem-sistem terkait atau kasus. Suatu kasus menarik untuk diteliti karena corak khas kasus tesebut yang memiliki arti pada orang lain, minimal bagi peneliti. Menurut Patton, studi kasus adalah studi tentang kekhususan dan kompleksitas suatu kasus tunggal dan berusaha untuk mengerti kasus tersebut dalam konteks, situasi dan waktu tertentu. Ditambahkannya juga bahwa studi kasus ini dilakukan karena kasus tersebut begitu unik, penting, bermanfaat bagi pembaca dan masyarakat pada umumnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian fungsi dan makna hiou yang di pakai si pengantin di adat pernikahan itu bahwa si pengantin sudah menjadi orang tua tidak menjadi pemuda lagi, dan menjadi lebih dewasa, dari cara berbicara, dan tingkah lakunya, bahwa sudah di dewasakan setelah di pakaikan hiou adat Simalungun. Hiou Simalungun melambangkan sebuah ikatan kasih sayang antara seseorang dengan orang yang lainnya. Manghioui (memberikan hiou) melambangkan pemberian kehangatan dan kasih sayang kepada penerima hiou. Dalam kepercayaan orang Batak, jiwa (tondi) pun perlu di hioui, sehingga kaum lelaki yang berjiwa keras mempunyai sifat kesejahteraan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa Mata Pelajaran IPS Kelas VIII Semester II SMP Negeri 1 Palipi T.A 2023/2024. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen posttest-pretest dengan desain dua kelompok. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII-A dan VIII-B SMP N I Palipi pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2023/2024, dengan kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII B sebagai kelas kontrol. Banyaknya siswa pada setiap kelas adalah 31. Dari hasil uji hipotesis (uji dua sisi) pada taraf signifikansi α = 0,05 diketahui bahwa kedua sampel mempunyai probabilitas awal yang sama. Kemudian setelah diberikan perlakuan pada kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan model Discovery learning dan pada kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional, diperoleh hasil rata-rata nilai post-test kelas eksperimen sebesar 71,45 dengan standar deviasi 10,74 dan nilai rata-rata 10,74. Rata-rata nilai postes kelas kontrol sebesar 64,68 dengan standar deviasi sebesar 13,16. Hasil pengujian hipotesis melalui uji t tunggal menunjukkan H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran penemuan mempunyai dampak terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran yang diajar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi guru IPAS dalam mengembangkan karakter tanggung jawab dan kepedulian sosial peserta didik Fase C di SD Negeri 091694 Mayang pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Fokus penelitian meliputi pengembangan karakter tanggung jawab, kepedulian sosial, serta pembentukan sikap dan tindakan peserta didik di berbagai lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, serta telaah dokumen dan arsip sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru menerapkan strategi yang meliputi kegiatan rutin, pemberian keteladanan, teguran yang mendidik, serta penguatan nilai karakter melalui interaksi dalam pembelajaran IPAS. Nilai tanggung jawab dan kepedulian sosial juga diintegrasikan dalam silabus, RPP, dan materi ajar. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa strategi yang diterapkan guru IPAS berperan signifikan dalam membentuk karakter tanggung jawab dan kepedulian sosial peserta didik Fase C secara konsisten dan kontekstual.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low number of tourist visits to the Tigaras area in Simalungun Regency, despite its significant tourism potential in terms of natural beauty and cultural richness. The main issue lies in the ineffective management strategies implemented by local stakeholders. The aim of this research is to identify the tourism potentials that can be developed, analyze the factors hindering the increase in tourist visits, and formulate appropriate tourism management strategies to attract more visitors. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and document analysis. The data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman and the SWOT framework. The results reveal that tourism development in Tigaras faces various challenges, including inadequate infrastructure, limited human resource capacity, weak promotional efforts, and poor coordination among stakeholders. The study concludes that an integrated, participatory, and locally-based management strategy is crucial to transform Tigaras into a competitive and sustainable tourism destination

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas pelaksanaan program terapi anak pada anak penyandang disabilitas dalam pembangunan sumber daya manusia di Kecamatan Siantar Kabupaten Simalungun. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwasannya : 1. Efektifitas pelaksanaan program terapi anak penyandang disabilitas di Kecamatan Siantar Kabupaten Simalungun yaitu ketetapan sasaran, Sosialisasi program dalam mensosialisasikan pentingnya menerima perbedaan individu anak penyandang disabilitas, menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung keberhasilan pendidikan anak penyandang disabilitas, memberikan contoh yang baik bagi seluruh warga sekolah, memastikan pelaksanaan program sekolah ramah anak penyandang disabilitas, Pencapaian program tujuan yang telah ditetapkan, terapi anak melalui kebebasan dan ekspresi diri yang disesuaikan kebutuhan anak, Kondisi anak sebelum dan sesudah terapi memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk masa depan siswa penyandang disabilitas Dimana penyandang distabilitas memiliki kebebasan eksplorasi dan ekspresi diri. 2. Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the planning, implementation, and constraints of the independent curriculum management at SMP Negeri 1 Pamatang Silimahuta. It uses a qualitative research method. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving subjects such as the principal, vice principal for curriculum, teachers, students, and parents. The data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation, data validity, credibility, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the study showed that the planning and implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum at SMP Negeri 1 Pamatang Silimahuta were carried out inclusively by involving all stakeholders, including parents of students, in supporting project-based learning and strengthening character education. Despite facing challenges such as lack of teacher readiness and limited facilities and infrastructure, the implementation of this curriculum showed positive results, marked by increased student enthusiasm and commitment from stakeholders. Evaluation was carried out through observation of changes in student attitudes and learning outcomes, with the hope that this curriculum will continue to be developed as an educational solution that is relevant to the demands of the times

Abstract

The character education-based curriculum is an approach to the curriculum designed to integrate character values into the entire learning process, both through subjects, extracurricular activities, and the culture at SMP Negeri 1 Pamatang Silimahuta. This study aims to evaluate the planning, implementation, and management constraints of the character strength-based curriculum at SMP Negeri 1 Pamatang Silimahuta using qualitative methods. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation with subjects including the Principal, Deputy Principal of Curriculum, Teachers, and Students. The research results show that the character-strengthening based curriculum management at SMP Negeri 1 Pamatang Silimahuta is implemented inclusively involving school stakeholders and parents. This curriculum is considered effective in addressing the challenges of character education and supporting project-based learning. The active participation of stakeholders supports the improvement of learning quality. Its implementation shows positive results, although it faces challenges such as external influences and the use of gadgets. Evaluation through observation indicates a great hope from all parties for this curriculum to continue to be developed in accordance with the demands of the times.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the existence of the museum as a medium and source of learning for students, especially in junior high school. The author chose the museum as the object of study which is a medium and source of learning for students, namely because the museum has several functions such as: 1. Collection and safeguarding of natural and cultural heritage, 2. Documentation and scientific research, 3. Conservation and preservation and 4. Dissemination. and the distribution of knowledge to the public. Museums should provide various accesses for visitors so that they can have the opportunity to use facilities and services, research and study collections, including consultation with museum staff. The conclusion of this study is that the existence of museums in the world of education is so needed, including in learning Social Sciences at the Elementary School level to the Upper Advanced Level. In the museum they can observe the relics of the past directly. The learning process can also be carried out by visitors who are not from the education community. Visitors to the museum are also able to increase their mental and intellectual property to know the past of an ethnic or community group. In museums, collection research can also be done, which can provide opportunities to produce new findings. This research is useful to arouse students' interest in knowing the past through observations of historical objects. The results of the study show that museums can motivate students and make it easy for students in the social studies learning process. The research method used in this paper is a qualitative research method of literature study. With the qualitative method of literature study, the author first collects books from the library. Researchers also seek information about the museum by conducting a library study, namely making direct visits to the library. In addition to library studies, researchers also seek and collect sources by utilizing digital technology. From the results of the research and discussion it can be concluded that the use of the Huta Bolon Museum as a source and media for social studies learning for junior high school students in Samosir Regency has a pretty good impact and provides enthusiasm for students in participating in the learning process about historical objects. The Huta Bolon Museum which has various collections in the form of statues (Tunggal Panaluan, , Boras Pati, Pangulu Balang), Buku Lak-lak, war tools (Busur and piso), tools used at home (Panituan, Hurhuran , Gampil, Sondi, Piso Halasar, Sikkop), gambling game tools (Dadu Guling and Janggar-janggar etc). Utilization of the Museum Huta Bolon Museum as a source and media for learning social studies which is visual in nature in the form of a collection of museum objects is a source and media for learning history that is representative to add insight and knowledge about events in the past

Abstract

In the context of Indonesian education, challenges rooted in geographic diversity, demographic spread, and cultural plurality significantly influence the quality and accessibility of learning. The implementation of effective teaching models is crucial, especially in primary education, where student engagement and comprehension are essential. This study aims to explore the implementation of two contrasting instructional models picture and picture and the lecture method in IPAS (Social and Natural Sciences) learning for Phase C students at SDN 097349 Mayang during the 2024/2025 academic year. A qualitative descriptive research design with a case study approach was employed. Data were collected through observations and interviews involving two teachers and ten students, and were analyzed descriptively. The findings revealed that the Picture and Picture model, which incorporates visual media to enhance student comprehension and engagement, significantly improved participation and concept mastery among students. In contrast, the lecture method, though structured and time-efficient, resulted in lower student interaction and reduced learning outcomes. The results highlight that integrating visual-based and interactive methods into the learning process can enhance student motivation and understanding. The study recommends the synergistic application of both models to create a more adaptive and holistic instructional approach suited to the contextual needs of primary school students.
