Abstract

This community service activity aims to describe the role of maujana nagori in fostering harmonization of multiethnic community life in Nagori Pamatang Simalungun, Siantar District. In addition to these objectives, this activity is intended to provide a deep understanding to the community so that they can create a harmonious life, even though the community living in Nagori Pamatang Simalungun is pluralist in terms of ethnicity, religion, race, and between groups. In the implementation of this socialization activity, lecture and question and answer methods were used from the speakers to all community members who attended the socialization. To optimize the socialization activities, the resource persons first consulted with the Head of Nagori so that they could invite the community and set a time for socialization so that the activities could be carried out properly. The results of the socialization activities show that the public's understanding of the importance of the role of Maujana Nagori in realizing the integration and harmonization of pluralist ethnic life in Nagori Pamatang Simalungun, Siantar District is increasing. Besides that, they are also enthusiastic about participating in the socialization and are willing to carry out constructive activities to support development and harmony of life in the midst of a multi-ethnic society

Abstract

This community service aims to provide an understanding that universities and academics act as business incubators for developing small and medium enterprises. In order to support the growth and development of SMEs, there needs to be a synergy from various parties ranging from academia, industry, and universities as stakeholders. The business incubator is a place used by many developing countries, including Indonesia, as a means of developing new businesses and/or small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The business incubator itself is an institution that oversees a business incubation in the coaching process for small businesses and/or new product development as well as the provision of business facilities and infrastructure, business development, and management and technology support. The availability of skilled labor needed by the Business and Work World (DUKA) is still very low. This is revealed from data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) which was announced in February 2020, which was around 13%. This condition is a challenge for universities not to exacerbate this condition by introducing an early work environment to students, so that they can become graduates according to the needs of the job market, either as employees or business owners through student business incubators at universities.The Business Incubator is a form of Academic Entrepreneurship adapted to the industrial era 4.0 based on the use of electronic media and the internet. To socialize the community service material to SME business actors, the lecture method and question-and-answer method are used for 90 minutes. The results of the socialization have further increased the understanding of the community and SMEs about the importance of developing business incubators as business facilities and infrastructure in business development.

Abstract

Kegiatan sosialisasi proyek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila bagi peserta didik SMIP Yayasan Universitas Simalungun bertujuan untuk memperkuat karakter dan pemahaman peserta didik tentang arti penting dan kedudukan ideologi negara pancasila dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara. Sosialisasi dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode partisipatif, ceramah, diskusi serta tanyajawab. Kegiatan sosialisasi, dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret tahun 2024, mengundang 60 orang peserta didik dan 10 orang guru, berlokasi di aula SMIP Yayasan Universitas Simalungun. Melalui kegiatan sosialisasi ini, para peserta didik dan guru diharapkan memahami arti penting pancasila dalam kehidupan bernegara dan bermasyarakat, sehingga dapat mengamalkan dan menghayati nilai - nilai pancasila dalam kehidupannya sehari-hari dan menghindarkan diri dari berbagai gerakan radikalisme, konflik suku, agama, ras antar golongan, disintegrasi dan berbagai gerakan separatisme lainnya yang mengancam keutuhan negara kesatuan republik Indonesia

Abstract

Kegiatan sosialisasi konsep dasar psikologi pendidikan bagi tenaga pendidik di SMK Swasta Pelita Pematangsiantar bertujuan untuk membekali dan memperluas wawasan bagi guru tentang kompetensi sosial dan kompetensi kepribadian yang bermanfaat untuk memotivasi dan meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik di SMK Swasta Pelita Pematangsiantar. Pentingnya sosialisasi untuk memahami kepribadian peserta didik, karena saat ini ditemukan degradasi dan keanekaragaman peserta didik yang cenderung destruktif terhadap proses pembelajaran mendalam, bermakna dan refleksi diri sesuai dengan pembelajaran deep learning. Sosialisasi dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode partisipatif, ceramah, diskusi serta tanya jawab yang dihadiri sebanyak 30 orang guru tanggal 11 Agustus 2025 berlokasi di aula SMK Swasta Pelita Pematangsiantar dengan menggunakan media infocus. Setelah dilaksanakan sosialisasi pemahaman tenaga pendidik tentang arti penting psikologi khususnya psikologi pendidikan dalam pembelajaran meningkat sehingga para peserta didik terlebih dahulu memahami kondisi psikologis peserta didik secara komprehensif sebagai individu yang unik memiliki karakter yang berbeda-beda sebelum dilaksanakan proses pembelajaran. Dengan pemahaman tersebut para guru terlebih dahulu berempati dan simpati kepada peserta didik sehingga peserta didik tertarik dan termotivasi untuk mengikuti pembelajaran yang diberikan oleh guru pada seluruh mata pelajaran

Abstract

Kegiatan sosialisasi bahaya penyalahgunaan narkoba pada SMIP Yayasan USI Pematang siantar bertujuan agar peserta didik dapat memahami dampak yang timbul dari penggunaan narkoba ( fisik, psikis maupun sosial ekonomi). Sosialisasi ini menggunakan metode partisipatif, ceramah dan diskusi. kegiatan sosialisasi ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 14 april 2023 dengan jumlah peserta sosialisasi terdiri dari 25 orang peserta didik dan 10 orang guru yang berlokasi di aula SMIP Yayasan. Melalui kegiatan sosialisasi bahaya penyalahgunaan narkoba ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik tentang jenis - jenis narkotika, dampak penyalahgunaan narkoba dari aspek fisik, psikis, pendidikan, sosial dan ekonomi serta cara pencegahan dan penanggulangannya. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini bermanfaat membentengi generasi muda sebagai generasi penerus bangsa khususnya peserta didik SMIP Yayasan USI dari bahaya penyalahgunaan narkoba

Abstract

This community service aims to provide understanding and re-grounding of the importance of the position of state ideology in the life of the nation and state in Indonesia, because Pancasila for the Indonesian people works as a philosophy of life and a view of life that is excavated from the crystallization of the socio-cultural values of the Indonesian nation. The importance of re-earthing the values of Pancasila in the lives of all levels of society because post-reformation until now has been found to be an indication of the strengthening of radicalism, intolerance and moral degradation in the lives of all levels of Indonesian society. If this condition continues to develop, it is feared that it will encourage disintegration of the nation. Moral degradation and radicalism have not only hit many people but have also entered the world of education. Therefore, it is important to implement the earthing of Pancasila to all levels of society in general and students in particular in all educational units. To socialize and ground the material on the ideology of the Pancasila state to students, students use the lecture and question and answer method which lasts for 120 minutes. With the socialization and grounding of Pancasila for junior high school students, the tourism industry of the USI Foundation, it is hoped that early on, students will be spared from various movements of radicalism, intolerance and moral decadence that are currently developing in the younger generation and students in particular. To socialize and ground the material on the ideology of the Pancasila state to students, students use the lecture and question and answer method which lasts for 120 minutes.
