Abstract

Development of appropriate consept is needed as effort to maintain the carrying capasity of the environment in the Rigaih region.Squid attractor is one of  tools to incresing carrying capasity of fish resources and it can preserving in order to develop the coastal areas in an integrated and sustainable. This study aims to a) preservation of ecosystem with breading squid b)one of tools for integrated and sustainable fishing at Rigaih.Methods of the study as follow: a ) squid attractor is simple designed, i.e. like flower with diameter is 100 cm and high is30 cm. Material of attractors is plastic wire with strands of rope and at the top is covered by black plastic. Untaian tali-tali tambang yang dipasang pada bagian dalam atraktor ini berfungsi sebagai tempat cumi-cumi menempelkan telurnya.Lokasi pemilihan pemasangan atraktor ini ditentukan bersama Panglima Laot Rigaih dan nelayan setempat dengan pemasangan di dalam perairan dilakukan secara sistem rangkaian yang panjang, dimana satu lokasi dapat terdiri dari sepuluh atraktor dengan jarak antar atraktor 15 m; b) Installation distance between attarctors is 15 m; c) observation squid egg. Result of the study have been show that squid attractor very suitable for preserving squid andit is able to increasing income of fisherman at Rigaihin the future.

Abstract

Tor tambroides (local name is kerling) is one of commercial fish espicially  in Aceh, West Java, and North Sumatra. Salinity and electrical conductivity is known can affecting to fish physiologi. Purpose of this study is to knowing survival rate and growth rate of Tor tambroides juvenile, with different salinity and electrical conductivity as treatment. Survival rate, daily growth rate, absolute length growth and biomass growth rate was used as variable test. Result of study show that electrical conductivity with different salinty (0,3,5,7 ppt) (during 30 days) unaffecting to daily growth rate and biomass growth rate. However, manipulation of electrical conductivity with different salinity have been affecting to absolute length growth and survival rate. The range of value for survival rate is ±83,33 – 100%, daily growth rate is ±0,40 – 0,71%, absolute length growth is ±1,30 – 2,27% and the range of value for biomass growth rate is ±0,102 – 0,183 gram.

Abstract

Capture fisheries are very important economic activity and have contributed greatly to the total fishery production in general in the District Naganraya. Fishery system that occurs dominated by small-scale fisheries. Fishermen in Naganraya district has a high dependence on fisheries resources as the main source of livelihood and almost all coastal areas based fisheries activities. Small-scale fisheries businesses have an impact on the fishing fleet and fishing locations (fishing ground) resulting in range of fishing operations is limited. The purpose of this research is 1). Analyzing small-scale capture fisheries system in locations PKN Naganraya district, 2). Formulate an alternative strategy in the management of small-scale fishing locations PKN Naganraya district. Data to be collected in this study consisted of primary and secondary data. Primary data was collected intensively using semi-structured interviews (semi-structured interview) to small-scale fishermen, observation and documentation in selected locations. The results showed that the dominant type of fishing gear is trawl catches beach and species that dominate the catch is Sardinella lemuru and Selar spp. Fish marketing patterns in locations peningkapan fishing activities (PKN) is not through the auction only through traders / large and are twelve strategic through internal and external environmental factors were dominant influence on the pattern of the conceptualization of small-scale fishery management in PKN location Nagan Raya.

Abstract

Tawes (Puntius javanicus) is one of the freshwater fish species that has economic value in Aceh. One of the obstacle in tawes fish breeding is Saprolegnia sp. fungus that attacks tawes fish eggs. The necessary solutions  was needed to resolve fungal infection by using Tagetes erecta L. Therefore this research was very important to control fungal infections on fish eggs Saprolegnia sp.. This study used Randomized Complete Design with four treatments and three raplications for each treatments. The treatment in this study namely P0 = P1 = ppm, 40 ppm, P2 = 50 ppm, P3 = 60 ppm, and P4 = 70 ppm. The parameters observed in this research is the prevalence of eggs hatchability rate, eggs growth and water quality. The results of this study showed that the highest value of tawes eggs hatchability (prevalence) found in treatment 3 (P3 = 60 ppm) was 53.33% and the lowest value was present in control treatment (P0 = 0 ppm) was 36.66%. The reasults of eggs hatchability rate (HR) show the highest values found in treatment 2 (P2 = 50 ppm) of 95.66% and the lowest value is present on the control (P0 = 0 ppm) of 45.66%. On the egg development stage shows that there is a embryogenesis process starts from cleavage, morula, blastula, gastrula, organogenesis to become larvae. Water quality during the research shows that water temperature range were 29.2-30oC, and DO water range were 3.6-4.8 mg/l.

Abstract

Gracilaria gigas merupakan tumbuhan tingkat rendah yang berasal dari laut danumumnya dibudidaya di tambak. Pengembangan budidaya rumput laut di tambak bertujuan memperluas kawasan produksi dengan produktivitas yang tinggi, kualitas rumput laut dan agar yang berbeda dengan di laut. Budidaya Gracilaria gigas di tambak dilakukan di Sekotong, Lombok Barat, Nusa Tenggara Barat dengan menggunakan metode broadcast dengan luas area budidaya 1.500 m2. Sedangkan budidaya di laut dilakukan di Teluk Gerupuk, Lombok Tengah dengan metode long line dengan luas area budidaya 1.250 m2. Parameter yang diukur meliputi performa dan kualitas rumput laut, serta kualitas air. Parameter kualitas air yang diukur adalah: suhu, salinitas, pH, NO3-N, NO2-N, NH3-N, PO4-P, dan kecerahan yang diambil pada hari ke-0, 10, 20, dan 30. Rata-rata produktivitas Gracilaria gigas di laut lebih tinggi 12,72% daripada di tambak. Sebaliknya rendemen agar dan kekuatan gel Gracilaria gigas hasil budidaya di tambak hampir tiga kali lipat lebih tinggi daripada di laut dan berkorelasi positifdengan kandungan N perairan dan indeks percabangan. Kualitas rumput laut berhubungan erat dengan suhu, DO, PO4-P, dan NH3-N terlarut dalam air. Tingginya rendemen agar dan kekuatan gel di tambak disebabkan oleh banyaknya kandungan nutrien dan unsur hara, sedangkan tingginya produktivitas hasil budidaya Gracilaria gigas di laut disebabkan oleh adanya respons struktural dan tekanan turgor pada rumput laut.

Abstract

The purpose of this Community Service is to apply the research results of the proposer team's research for community empowerment in Pante Ceureumen District, West Aceh. Research results are applied to the activity program MERDEKA 74 "(Minapadi Together with Local Fish 7 Species and 4 Legowo) which is a system of planting rice by cultivating fish in one rice field simultaneously. This program aims to increase farmers' income with high rice yield productivity and increase local fish production. The activity was carried out for 6 months at the Pante Ceureumen District, West Aceh. The results observed included rice production and fish production in the Minapadi system. The production of 2: 1 legowo planted rice has a significant effect on the parameters of rice production, namely (16.17 kg /Ha). Meanwhile, the production of cultivated fish (7 species) are catfish, bileh fish, tilapia, goldfish, catfish, catfish and giant prawns. The 7 species are able to develop and be cultivated well.

Abstract

FGD results with some fishermen/farmers obtained several problems including the fish seed price is quite expensive in Aceh Barat regency, the price of feed (pellets) quite expensive fish, the fish often escape from confinement containers because the tide or rip nets, the process of cultivation is done traditionally, fish consumption rates did not increase when compared to the price of feed has continued to increase as well as the management of the business which has not been neat. As for the purpose of this activity, namely the partners get IPTEKS about cultivation of fish (the production of fish feed is independent, the enlargement with the application bioflok in bismetik container, organic vegetable production from aquaculture wastes, processing crops for mother-housewife fishermen). The approach that was used against the subject's partner is a method of lecture and lab course. While the way or stages for the success of the programs include problem identification, needs analysis, preparation of programs, program implementation, monitoring and evaluation based on the indicators of success of the program, the workshop results by presenting program stakeholders and reporting. As for the activities that have been carried out, namely the enlargement the enlargement of this fish where fish is one of the many business segments performed the fish farmers. Next up is the making of fish feed activities, activities that have been undertaken, namely booking engine feed feed creation and outreach to the community of the village directly, and so on aquaponik activities, namely activities manage wastes the rest of metabolism the fish with the utilization of plants in outdoor aquaponik.

Abstract

Nagan Raya is one of the districts on the west coast of Aceh with an area of 311,480 km2, consisting of 9 districts, 222 villages. The strategic location, the possibility of developing a large fishery field. Nagan Raya began to develop the field of fisheries through aquaculture. Devotion to this community using the method of mentoring and coaching through knowledge transfer in the form of training and practice of making fish feed into feed products. Process activities that have been implemented in the form of mentoring and coaching then classified the type of output at each stage that is passed; Partners can make artificial fish feed with waste alternatives using pellet machines, packing and marketing. Communities in Nagan Raya also produce tofu as processed from soybeans, this preparation will produce waste of tofu waste, which is currently not utilized optimally. The raw material of this training is the tofu and waste waste of dried fish to be processed into feed powder. Tofu waste is used as a feed ingredients because it has advantages in addition to the nutrient content owned also utilize waste processing so that environmental pollution can be avoided. Waste know this is an alternative material of raw materials of environmentally friendly fish feed. Because it is made from waste processing industry residue. Conceptually and the application of science transfer transfer is done through: aspects of fish feed manufacturing techniques and marketing aspects.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat tingkat efektifitas tomat dalam pakan buatan terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan tawes (Puntius javanicus). Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Kontrol (P0), ekstrak tomat (1,25 mg) + pakan FF 999 4% (P1), ekstrak tomat (2,75 mg) + pakan FF 999 4% P2) dan ekstrak tomat (3,75 mg) + pakan FF 999 4%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pertumbuhan panjang mutlak tertinggi diperoleh P3 (4,44 cm) dan terendah P0 (2,38 cm), pertumbuhan bobot mutlak tertinggi diperoleh P1 (18,75 gr) dan terendah P0 (11,56 gr), laju pertumbuhan spesifik tertinggi diperoleh P1 (2,96%) dan terendah P0 (2,48%), serta kelangsungan hidup tertinggi diperoleh P2 dan P3 (93,33%) dan terendah diperoleh P0 (46,66%). Kata kunci: Puntius javanicus, Solanum lycopersicum L, pertumbuhan, kelangsungan hidup.

Abstract

Penelitian tentang pemberian pakan alami yang berbeda pada benih ikan tawes (Barbonymus gonionotus) terhadap pertubuhan dan kelangsungan hidup yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni - Juli 2015 bertempat di UPR Meunasah Krueng Kecamatan Beutong Kabupaten Nagan Raya, bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pakan alami yang berbeda (tubifek, daphnia, infusoria) terhadap laju pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan tawes (Barbonymus gonionotus). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen yaitu memberikan perlakuan pakan alami yang berbeda (tubifek, daphnia, infusoria) terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan tawes. Hasil penelitian pertumbuhan berat biomasa mutlak rata-rata tertinggi terdapat pada P1 (tubifek) dengan nilai rata-rata 3,80 kemudian   P0 atau kontrol (artemia) dengan nilai rata-rata 2,03, di ikuti P3 (daphnia) dengan nilai rata-rata 1,45 dan yang paling rendah terdapat pada P2 (infusoria) dengan jumlah nilai rata-rata sebanyak 1,35. Sedangkan persentase tingkat kelangsungan hidup benih ikan tawes yang tertinggi terdapat pada P1 (tubifek) sebesar 64,4 %, di ikuti dengan perlakuan 0 atau kontrol (artemia) sebesar 55,5 %, P3 (daphnia) sebesar 53,3 % dan persentase tingkat kelangsungan hidup benih ikan terendah terdapat pada P2 (infusoria) dengan persentase sebesar 48,8 %. Disimpulkan bahwa pemberian pakan alami tubifex meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan tawes (Barbonymus gonionotus).Kata kunci: Pertumbuhan, Kelangsungan Hidup, Ikan Tawes, Pakan Alami.
