Abstract

Lulur tradisional merupakan salah satu sediaan kosmetik yang berbahan dasar alami yaitu beras. Beras memiliki kandungan yang kaya akan protein, vitamin, mineral dan air. Kandungan yang terdapat pada beras adalah gamma oryzanol. Senyawa ini dapat memperbaharui pembentukan pigmen melanin, sebagai anti oksidan dan juga efektif untuk menangkal sinar ultraviolet. Selain itu, kunyit juga memiliki aktivitas sebagai antioksidan yang berasal dari kukumin yang terdapat dalam kunyit, serta asam jawa mengandung aktioksidan yang memiliki manfaat untuk melawan radikal bebas yang merusak kulit dan menyebabkan penuaan dini. Melihat cuaca saat ini yang seringkali tidak terkendali sehingga memengaruhi kualitas dan kuantitas hasil panen, kesejahteraan petani masih sulit ditingkatkan. Maka dari itu, hadirnya penelitian ini untuk membantu meningkatkan perekonomian petani dengan cara mengolah menir beras menjadi produk lulur yang bernilai jual yang tinggi, proses produksi BS-Ogi’ ini melibatkan penggunaan alat teknologi mixer silinder untuk mengaduk menir beras yang disangrai, dan pengemasan yang higienis serta telah memiliki nomor induk berusaha (NIB). Adapun Potensi pasar masih terbuka lebar karena produk ini inovatif dan belum banyak tersedia di pasar lokal.

Abstract

The quantity of plastic waste remains a crucial problem for the community in Cenrana Village. Because of the lack of public awareness of the dangers of plastic waste, handling is carried out only in the form of burning. However, its handling is still considered ineffective. Therefore, this PKM program was implemented to provide a solution for the reduction of plastic waste through the manufacture of press bricks, an environmentally friendly building construction material. The implementation method is carried out through three main stages, namely, counseling, training, assistance, through these three main stages, partners can innovate themselves and even improvise themselves regarding the use of plastic waste into press bricks as a form of handling the quantity problem that partners have been facing. Through the creative recycling of plastic waste, we can expand the scope of applicationstion and create new opportunities in the circular economy. The increase in partner knowledge through the Observational Sheet shows results of 90%, and production and supporting skills with an increase of 90% and 80%, respectively. The increase in skills obtained by partners through this PKM program provides a solution to the reduction of plastic waste that has been faced by the people of Cenrana Village and provides added value to plastic waste as economically valuable products, thus supporting the plastic-free movement in 2025.

Abstract

This community service (PKM) aims to empower partners through zero waste methods in processing coconut waste into cocopeat and cocofiber products. The partner in this PKM is Poktan Wanua Cina, which is located in Tanete Village, Cina District. Activities include counseling, training, and mentoring. The results of the counseling showed an increase in partner knowledge and understanding, with an average score of 59.82. Counseling succeeded in increasing partners' awareness and motivation about the importance of coconut waste processing. Training showed an increase in partners' technical skills with an average increase of 59.55. Mentoring is intended to ensure that partners can apply the knowledge and skills that have been obtained. The mentoring results showed an average increase of 63.91. This PKM activity has proven effective in empowering partners with the resulting products having the potential to become village superior products.
