Abstract

Postpartum exercise is exercise that is carried out from the first day of birth every day until the tenth day, consisting of a series of body movements carried out to speed up the mother's recovery. The aim of postpartum exercise is to help speed up the mother's recovery, speed up the involution process and restore the function of the womb. The benefits of postpartum exercise include improving blood circulation, body and back posture after giving birth, improving muscle tone, pelvic and abdominal muscle stretching and helping mothers to be more relaxed and fresh after giving birth. Postpartum exercise is rarely done because postpartum mothers are afraid to do a lot of movement, are afraid of the stitches coming out, the perineal wound still hurts and there is a belief that has developed and is believed by society, namely that if it has not been 40 days after giving birth, the mother is not allowed to do activities. The aim of the research was to determine the effect of postpartum exercise on uterine involution during normal postpartum delivery at the Semambawa Community Health Center BPM, South Nias in 2023.This research used a quasi-experimental research design with a post test only design with one comparison treatment, the sample in the research was 30 people using a Random Sampling System. The data collected in the research is primary data, namely data obtained directly from respondents. The data analysis used was the Wilcoxon signed ranks test.The results of research on uterine involution before postpartum exercise intervention during normal postpartum delivery, the majority experienced subinvolution, 30 people (100%), uterine involution after postpartum exercise intervention during normal postpartum period, the majority experienced normal, 22 people (73.3%), there was an effect Postpartum exercise on uterine involution in normal postpartum with a value of p=0.000 p<0.05. So Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an influence of postpartum exercise on uterine involution during normal postpartum delivery at the Semambawa Community Health Center, South Nias in 2023. Midwives are expected to improve and provide midwifery services by applying postpartum exercise methods and relaxation techniques to postpartum mothers so that the process of uterine involution goes well.

Abstract

Hypertension Hypertension is still a big problem and challenge in Indonesia, because it is still often found in primary health services and the prevalence rate is still high and has increased compared to previous years. The side effects that occur if you experience an increase in blood pressure that lasts for a long time are damage to the kidneys (kidney failure), heart (coronary heart disease) and brain, which can cause a stroke if not detected early and given adequate treatment. And it can also cause death. The aim of the research is to determine the relationship between the use of hormonal contraception and the incidence of hypertension in women of childbearing age at the Teluk Dalam South Nias Community Health Center in 2023.The type of research carried out was Descriptive Analytical with a cross sectional approach, the sample in this study was 102 people using Total Sampling. The data collected in the research is primary data, namely data obtained directly from respondents. The data analysis used is chi square The results of the cross-tabulation research on the use of hormonal contraception at the Teluk Dalam South Nias Community Health Center in 2023, the majority used injectable contraceptives, 65 respondents (63.7%), the blood pressure at the Teluk Dalam Health Center, South Nias in 2023, the majority was normal, 52 respondents (51.0 %), there is a relationship between the use of hormonal contraception and the incidence of hypertension in women of childbearing age (WUS) at Teluk Dalam South Nias Community Health Center in 2023 with a value of p = 0.000. So Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is a relationship between the use of hormonal contraception and the incidence of hypertension in women of childbearing age at Teluk Dalam Health Center, South Nias. Suggestions for future researchers are that they can carry out further research by developing other variables to get better results.

Abstract

The cause of most anemia in Indonesia is a lack of iron which is needed for the formation of hemoglobin. Anemia in pregnant women brings consequences and complications that have a high risk of miscarriage, bleeding, LBW, uterine atony, uterine inertia, placental retention. The incidence of anemia in Indonesia is increasing because anemia treatment is carried out when women are pregnant rather than starting before pregnancy. The aim of the research is to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women and compliance with consuming iron (Fe) tablets at the Martoba Pematang Siantar Community Health Center in 2023.This research uses analytical observational research, the sample in the research is 52 people using Total Sampling. The data collected in the research is primary data, namely data obtained directly from respondents. The data analysis used is chi square The results of the cross-tabulation research show a relationship between attitudes and compliance with consuming iron (Fe) tablets at the Martoba Pematang Siantar Community Health Center in 2023 with a P value of 0.020 (P value <0.005), so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.Suggestions for midwifery services to provide education to increase mothers' knowledge about basic immunization.

Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding plays an important role in the growth and development of infants. The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months of life, followed by complementary foods (MPASI). However, many mothers do not provide exclusive breastfeeding, which can affect the growth and development of infants in old age. This study aims to analyze the relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the growth and development of infants aged 7-12 months.This study uses a quantitative research type using Retrospective research. The design of this study was carried out with a cross-sectional approach, the sample in the study was 62 people using the Random Sampling System. The data collected in the study were primary data, namely data obtained directly from respondents. The data analysis used was Chi Square. Exclusive breastfeeding in infants aged 7-12 months is mostly given exclusive breastfeeding (56.6%), growth in infants aged 7-12 months is mostly fat (37.1%), development in infants aged 7-12 months is mostly normal (54.8%), there is a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and growth in infants aged 7-12 months with a p-value of 0.000, there is a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and development in infants aged 7-12 months with a p-value of 0.000. So Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted which means there is a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and development in infants aged 7-12 months. For further researchers, it is expected to be able to conduct further research by developing other variables in order to get better results.

Abstract

Considering how important Early Breastfeeding Initiation is, especially in Indonesia, it is being implemented, one of the main goals of which is to ensure smooth breastfeeding, where the aim of the baby getting breast milk is to be able to develop the baby's maximum potential (Rahmat, 2018). This study aims to analyze the relationship between early initiation and the smooth production of breast milk in post-partum mothers at the Datar City Health Center, Hamparan Perak District, Deli Serdang Regency in 2023. This research is an analytical description with a cross-sectional approach and bivariate data analysis is the data analysis used in the research to determine the relationship or influence of the independent variable with the dependent variable using chi-square test analysis, at the p-value statistical significance limit α (0.05), then Ha: accepted and Ho: rejected (Hardani, 2020).Based on the table above, it can be explained that of the 32 respondents, those who did not initiate early breastfeeding, the majority of mothers' breast milk was not flowing smoothly, 13 (41%). Based on this table, it can be seen that there is a relationship between early initiation and the smooth production of breast milk for post-partum mothers at the Kota Datar Community Health Center, Hamparan Perak District, Deli Serdang Regency in 2023 with a p value of 0.001.This means that there is a relationship between early initiation and the smooth production of breast milk for post-partum mothers at the Datar City Health Center, Hamparan Perak District, Deli Serdang Regency in 2023
