Abstract

Sektor pertanian merupakan komponen penting dari ekonomi nasional dan merupakan bagian penting dari kehidupan masyarakat. Ini menunjukkan bahwa pertanian seharusnya menjadi pendorong ekonomi nasional. Subsektor pertanian hortikultura memiliki kemampuan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan petani, karena dibutuhkan oleh hampir semua orang dan salah satu komoditas yang sangat menguntungkan. Faktor ekonomi terdiri dari pendapatan, jumlah tanggungan dalam keluarga, luas lahan, sarana dan prasarana, pengeluaran, dan harga jual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei, dan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengajukan pertanyaan atau wawancara dalam bentuk kuisioner. Penelitian ini melibatkan 45 petani tomat. Metode analisis yang digunakan untuk menganalisis variabel independen yakni lama usahatani, luas lahan, harga, pendapatan yaitu analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menujukan dari tiga variable yang ukur luas lahan dan pendapatan memiliki pengaruh signifikasi terhadap keputusan petani dalam memilih usahatani tomat, sedangkan untuk harga tidak memiliki pengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap keputusan petani dalam memilih usahatani. Untuk lama berusahatani yang paling domianan adalah petani lama Bertani 10-20, sehingga akan berdampak pada semakin memperkuat keputusan petani dalam memilih usahatani tomat.

Abstract

The research was conducted to find out whether Lejong culture can empower the Golo Worok village farmer group, especially in terms of increasing human resources, such as skills and knowledge of economic fiber. The problem in this research focuses on how Lejong culture influences the capabilities of farmer groups in Golo Worok Village, Ruteng District, and Manggarai Regency. This research aims to find out how the influence of the non-governmental organization Ayo Indonesia empowers the Golo Worok Village Farmer Group and how the Farmer Group feels the process and its impacts. The data used in the research are primary data and secondary data. To obtain primary data, observation and interview methods were used. Secondary data was obtained through several kinds of literature according to research needs. The research results show that Lejong culture significantly influences the empowerment of Golo Worok Village farmer groups and that socialization and discussion are approaches packaged in Lejong culture. It is recommended that all stakeholders collaborate to optimize Lejong as a strategy to empower farmers.

Abstract

Memperkuat sumber daya manusia merupakan langkah mendasar bagi setiap individu untuk memulai dan menjalankan bisnis. Pada saat ini, pengetahuan dan keterampilan merupakan hal terpenting dalam diri setiap individu manusia. Upaya peningkatan pengetahuan melalui pelatihan dan pendidikan merupakan langkah strategis dan wujud kepedulian terhadap pendidikan. SMK Kuwus merupakan sekolah kejuruan yang memiliki jurusan pertanian yang bergerak di bidang pangan dan hortikultura. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan mengedukasi siswa SMK Kuwus tentang bagaimana produk pertanian dapat memperoleh nilai tambah ketika menjadi produk olahan. Kegiatan ini diawali dengan kegiatan (survei lokasi, pengajuan izin, pengurusan administrasi, penyiapan alat dan bahan serta akomodasi) di SMKN Kuwus Manggrai Barat pada tanggal 20 Oktober 2023 hingga pelatihan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 28 September 2023. Siswa SMAK Kuwus juga turut serta aktif dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini. Kegiatan pelatihan berjalan lancar dan terlaksana dengan baik. Peserta yang berpartisipasi secara aktif dan antusias diharapkan untuk terus berkolaborasi dan memberikan pelatihan tentang metode lain untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan di bidang Sosial Ekonomi Pertanian.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the marketing mix influences the increase in rice sales volume of the Kembang Mekar Farmers Group. The marketing mix is one of the factors that can influence the increase in sales volume of a product. The marketing mix itself consists of four elements, namely product, price, promotion and distribution. In the context of the Kembang Mekar farmer group, it is important to analyze the influence of the marketing mix on increasing rice sales volume. Thus, this research aims to identify factors in the marketing mix that can increase the sales volume of rice for the Kembang Mekar farmer group. In the context of ideal conditions, the Kembang Mekar farmer group is expected to be able to increase rice sales volume significantly. The location of this research was carried out at the Kembang Mekar farmer group. Determining the location of the research was carried out deliberately. The time for conducting the research is from February to May 2024. Product and price have a significant influence on the volume of rice sales in the Kembang Mekar farmer group, while place and promotion do not have a significant influence individually.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to innovate the processing of local foods, addressing the decline of traditional foods due to the rise of foreign fast foods. The study emphasizes the importance of preserving traditional foods, such as Sombu, a corn-based dish from Manggarai Regency, and demonstrates how modernization can help these foods compete in today's market. Method: The research employed a combination of Brainstorming sessions, business management strategies, and techniques for making, processing, and marketing traditional foods. The study involved selecting specific locations and subjects for service to ensure targeted and effective interventions. Practical Applications: The findings highlight the potential for local food innovations to rejuvenate traditional culinary practices, making them competitive with foreign alternatives. This research opens opportunities for young people, especially students, to engage in creative and profitable culinary innovations, thereby sustaining cultural heritage and stimulating economic growth. Conclusion: The study successfully showcased new innovations in local food processing, resulting in modernized traditional foods that can compete with international products. These innovations not only preserve cultural heritage but also motivate the younger generation to contribute to creative and profitable culinary practices.
