Abstract

This research examines the Implementation of Flashcard Media in Improving Reading Skills of Class II Students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun Indramayu. This study focuses on the problem of students who are still not fluent in recognizing letters, reading words, and simple sentences. Furthermore, this study aims to determine how the Implementation of Flashcard Media in Improving Reading Skills of Class II Students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun Indramayu. This study uses a mix method with an explanatory sequential research design model. The implementation is carried out sequentially, starting with quantitative and continuing with qualitative. The type of research used is a pre-experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest approach, where researchers only use one class that is given treatment and will undergo two tests, namely the initial test (pretest) and the final test (posttest). The results of the study showed that there was an increase in the reading ability of class II students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun which can be proven by the average pretest score of 88.56 and the average posttest score reaching 96.06. The above indicates an increase in class II students of MI Ma'had Al-Zaytun. In the T-test, the Sig. value was obtained at 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The t-test uses tcount> ttable, which is 5.671> 2.034, which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This explains that there is a significant difference between the average reading test scores of students before and after the implementation of flashcard learning media. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of peer interaction in the school environment on the formation of friendly character of 6th grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun. This research uses quantitative methods with descriptive analysis type of research. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 6th grade students of MI Ma'had Al-Zaytun in the 2024/2025 academic year which is the population of this study. Determination of the sample in this study was carried out using purposive sampling technique which obtained a sample size of 67 students from a total population of 204 students. The results of this study indicate that interaction with peers in the school environment has a positive and significant effect on the formation of students' friendly character. This is evidenced by the tcount value which is greater than the ttable, namely 5.476 > 1.997 with a coefficient of determination of 0.316, which means that 31.6% of peer interaction variables affect the formation of friendly character. Abstract

The background of this research relates to the perceptions and interests of students in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Program at the Al-Zaytun Islamic Institute of Indonesia towards the teaching profession. Students' perceptions of this profession include views on the role of teachers as dedicated mentors and unsung heroes who provide education and shape the character of young generations. The students' interest in becoming teachers arises from several motivations, both intrinsic and extrinsic, such as a desire to contribute to the field of education and support from their environment. The research findings indicate that positive perceptions and strong interest correlate with students' aspirations to pursue a career in teaching, with family background, learning experiences, and teaching practice as influencing factors. This research aims to analyze the perceptions and interests of students in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education (PGMI) Study Program at the Al-Zaytun Islamic Institute of Indonesia towards the teaching profession. The research uses a qualitative approach, with a Random Sampling method, and employs observation, interviews, and documentation to collect data from PGMI students. The data collection technique involves using data triangulation to ensure the validity of the data used by the researcher. The research findings indicate that students' perceptions of the teaching profession are influenced by internal factors such as personal interest and encouragement from family, as well as external factors like perceptions of the welfare and challenges of the teaching profession. Most students have a high interest in becoming teachers due to idealism and a desire to contribute to education, although some also consider the challenges of this profession. The findings of this research are expected to assist educational institutions in improving the quality of teacher education and motivating students to pursue careers as educators. Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned effort to achieve predetermined goals, including in the context of teaching Islamic Cultural History (Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam - SKI). In the teaching process, teachers need to implement various effective strategies to ensure that learning objectives are achieved successfully. The approaches used by educators should facilitate students in understanding the material in an easy, effective, and clear manner. Thus, the material delivered becomes not only information but also something that students can utilize in their daily lives. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the quiz method in improving the quality of learning and how the quiz method can optimize the quality of teaching Islamic Cultural History (SKI) for fourth-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma’had Al-Zaytun. The study employs a qualitative approach, emphasizing an in-depth understanding of the application of the quiz method in the context of teaching SKI to fourth-grade students at the Madrasah. The sample selection was conducted using random sampling techniques, and data were collected through interviews with teachers and students, direct observations during the learning process, and relevant school documentation. The findings of the study indicate that the implementation of the quiz method significantly improves the quality of learning. This is evident from the increased interest, motivation, and engagement of students in learning activities. Students no longer remain passive listeners but actively participate in the learning process through discussions, question-and-answer sessions, and collaborations.Additionally, the quiz method enhances students' collaboration and teamwork skills, as well as significantly improves their understanding and retention of the material taught by the teacher. Through the implementation of this quiz method, the learning process becomes more interactive and enjoyable, thereby achieving educational goals more optimally. Abstract

Peran adalah pelaksanaan hak dan kewajiban sesuai posisi seseorang. Guru berperan sebagai pendidik yang membantu memahami, mengajarkan, dan menyampaikan pengetahuan atau keterampilan. Bullying merupakan tindakan intimidasi fisik, verbal, atau emosional oleh individu atau kelompok yang merasa lebih kuat. Di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma’had Al-Zaytun, guru memiliki lima peran utama dalam mencegah bullying di kalangan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi bentuk bullying dan peran guru dalam mencegahnya di kelas. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun sumber data penelitian berupa data primer dan data sekunder. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan populasi guru dan 177 siswa kelas V. Keabsahan data diuji dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Data dianalisis dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, Verifikasi data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini bahwa bullying fisik, sosial, dan cyberbullying tidak terjadi, namun bullying verbal masih ada, seperti mengejek nama orang tua atau memberikan julukan tidak pantas. Guru berperan sebagai pendidik, fasilitator, demonstrator, penasehat, dan pembimbing dalam mencegah bullying. Meski peran tersebut sudah baik, disarankan adanya ruang khusus dan poster tentang akhlak, adab berteman, dan cara bergaul yang baik yang dipasang di kelas, majalah dinding (mading), atau area sekolah lainnya. Abstract

Abstract This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of local wisdom-based learning strategies in Indramayu, focusing on their impact on student engagement, understanding, academic achievement, and cultural appreciation. Utilizing a literature review method, this study examines existing research and documentation on the integration of local wisdom into educational practices. The findings indicate that such integration significantly enhances student involvement in the learning process, provides deeper comprehension of subjects, boosts academic performance, and fosters a greater appreciation for cultural heritage. The positive outcomes suggest that local wisdom-based learning strategies not only enrich the educational experience but also contribute to the preservation and appreciation of local.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategies employed by students of the Primary School Teacher Education Program (PGMI) at IAI Al-AZIS to complete their undergraduate thesis on time, as well as to identify the challenges they face. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using Miles & Huberman’s interactive model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that students’ success in completing their thesis on time was determined by effective time management, strong intrinsic motivation, intensive communication with academic supervisors, and institutional support. The obstacles encountered include internal factors such as laziness, procrastination, and limited academic writing skills, as well as external factors such as limited references, overloaded supervisor schedules, and economic constraints. To overcome these barriers, students applied adaptive strategies such as creating a writing timeline, utilizing peer study groups, and employing digital applications (Mendeley, Google Scholar) to accelerate the writing process. This study concludes that timely thesis completion is the result of a synergy between internal, external, and spiritual factors, and contributes to strengthening the concept of self-regulated learning while providing practical recommendations for students and higher education institutions. Abstract

This research aims to describe the role of guidance and counseling (BK) teachers in improving the psychological well-being of fifth-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma’had Al-Zaytun. It also identifies the strategies used and the factors influencing students’ psychological well-being. This study applied a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that BK teachers play multiple roles as counselors, facilitators, motivators, mediators, and role models in guiding students to manage emotional and social challenges. Implemented strategies include personal, social, learning, and career guidance; motivational encouragement; and the creation of a supportive learning environment. Internal factors such as emotion, motivation, self-confidence, and spirituality, and external factors such as family support, school environment, social interaction, and economic background, strongly influence students’ psychological well-being. The active involvement of BK teachers positively contributes to emotional stability, motivation, and social adaptability among students. The study recommends that schools employ professional BK teachers to ensure the sustainability of counseling services and the development of students’ holistic well-being.

Abstract

Skripsi ini mengkaji tentang Pengaruh Minat Belajar Terhadap Hasil Belajar Bahasa Arab Siswa Kelas VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Ma’had Al-Zaytun. Pokok masalah dari penelitian ini adalah masih adanya siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi Bahasa Arab, yang kemungkinan berkaitan dengan tingkat minat belajar mereka. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis sejauh mana minat belajar memengaruhi hasil belajar siswa serta mengetahui signifikansi hubungan antara kedua variabel. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik survei. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui angket untuk mengukur tingkat minat belajar siswa dan tes prestasi untuk menilai hasil belajar mereka. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 80 siswa kelas VIII yang dipilih secara acak. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Spearman Rank guna menguji hubungan antara minat belajar dan hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari analisis deskriptif minat belajar siswa kelas VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Ma’had Al-Zaytun mayoritas berada dalam kategori sedang (62,5%) dengan rentang skor 28-88. Hasil belajar Bahasa Arab juga tergolong sedang (72,5%) dengan rentang skor 16,70-100. Selain itu, hasil analisis inferensial menggunakan uji Spearman Rank menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara minat belajar dan hasil belajar Bahasa Arab. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,128, yang melebihi ambang batas 0,05, mengindikasikan bahwa hipotesis nol diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa minat belajar siswa tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa Arab mereka. Hasil penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa faktor selain minat belajar, seperti metode pengajaran, lingkungan, dan pemahaman siswa, mungkin lebih berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penelitian lanjutan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor tersebut.
