Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is caused by dengue viruses that belong to Flaviviridae. The disease is known to be caused by 4 types of dengue viruses, namely DENV-1, DENV-2, DENV-3, and DENV-4 associated with antigenic. Dengue virus is a virus RNA that causes illness with clinical manifestations of Dengue Fever, Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever and Dengue Shock Syndrome. The aim of research was to determine the effectiveness of dimethyl sulfoxide, acetone, and ethanol 70% as precipitation solvent in the process of RNA isolation. The method used was Reverse Transcription - Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) and Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) with specific primers for dengue virus type 1 (DENV-1). RNA isolation can be done easily using an RNA Isolation Kit. Use of RNA Isolation Kit results in a purer RNA isolate from contaminants and from RNA degradation. In generally the isolation is using cold ethanol / alcohol with concentration 90-95%. Ethanol / Alcohol does not dissolve RNA and light density of alcohol lighter than water makes RNA rise and hover on the surface. In RNA isolation solvent precipitation that used are acetone, ethanol 70%, and DMSO. In qualitative RNA measurements using agarose gel electrophoresis and was examined under the UV light-illuminator and quantitative RNA measurements using Nanodrop spectrophotometry with absorbance ratio at 260/280 and 260/230 showed a good result indicated by the appearance of the band on electrophoresis results in PCR. While the measurement quantitatively is showed that there was still protein contamination but the results are quite good because it does not much different from the ratio set in the reference. Acetone, ethanol 70%, and DMSO can be used as a substitute of 96% ethanol in the process of RNA isolation in DENV-1 virus and can also be applied to other dengue virus because the structure of the 4th antigen serotype is very similar one with the other and no effect.

Abstract

Polygamy is a controversial topic that has sparked debate among Indonesian society, especially in the digital era. This research aims to compare moderate and conservative views on polygamy presented by four popular Islamic websites in Indonesia: Portal-Islam.id, NU.or.id, Rumaysho.com, and Muslim.or.id. Using content analysis methods, this research explores the narratives formed by each website regarding the practice of polygamy. The research results show that NU.or.id places more emphasis on aspects of justice and women's welfare, while Portal-Islam.id and Rumaysho.com focus on religious legitimacy and the husband's obligations in polygamy. Muslim.or.id provides a more balanced view, but still faces challenges in balancing moderate and conservative views. This research also reveals that polygamy has complex social and psychological impacts, often detrimental to women and children in polygamous families. These findings emphasize the need for critical evaluation and a more inclusive approach in discussing and regulating polygamy practices in Indonesia, especially in the digital context.

Abstract

Abstract

This study examines 392 Scopus-indexed publications (1975–2025) on innovation incentives in public policy using bibliometric methods through the Bibliometrix® application. Findings show a 7.66% annual growth rate, accelerating after 2010 as innovation incentives gained prominence in sustainability and digital transformation agendas. Research output is concentrated in core journals such as Sustainability (Switzerland), Research Policy, and the Journal of Cleaner Production, with Research Policy leading in scholarly impact. Keyword analysis and thematic mapping indicate a shift from fiscal and regulatory instruments toward broader themes of sustainability, governance, and organizational culture. Thematic evolution further reflects a movement from sector-specific cases, such as pharmaceuticals, to systemic perspectives on collaborative innovation and green development. Conceptual and co-occurrence analyses reveal two dominant orientations: one focused on economic and regulatory tools, the other on governance and sustainability. International collaboration networks highlight North America, Europe, and China as key hubs, while Latin America and Africa remain more regionally confined, underscoring global research asymmetries. Overall, the field is rapidly expanding and interdisciplinary but remains fragmented, with limited theoretical integration and uneven geographic representation. Strengthening comparative frameworks and fostering North–South collaboration are essential for more inclusive and context-sensitive policy insights.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of income per capita and economic equality on the level of happiness of the Indonesian society. The research method used is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression to examine the relationship between the variables of income, economic equality (Gini Index), and societal happiness. The data used in this study was obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and the World Happiness Report 2020-2024. The research results show that income per capita positively influences happiness, although its impact decreases once basic needs are met. In addition, economic equality also has a significant positive effect on happiness, indicating that a more equal distribution of income can increase social happiness. The conclusion of this study is that policies aimed at increasing income per capita and supporting more equitable wealth redistribution can contribute to improving the happiness of the Indonesian society.

Abstract

This study aims to understand more deeply about the difficulty of moving on in adolescents after a breakup, especially related to rumination. The phenomenon of a breakup often causes individuals to have difficulty moving on whichcan trigger psychological problems such as rumination, anxiety, self-concept confusion, and identity crisis. Rumination as a process of thinking repeatedly about negative experieces in the past, was found to help mental-emotional conditions and inhibit recovery. This study used a qualitative approach with semi-structured in-depth interviews with single participants (SNA) who had difficulty moving on after the end of a three-year relationship. Data analysis was inductive using thematic analysis. The results showed that SNA experienced intense emotional rumination, prolonged anxiety, emotional dependence, and self-concept confusion after a breakup. These findings confirm that ruminating prolongs emotional stress and inhibits psychological recovery. This study is expected to contribute to finding effective strategies to overcome the impact of insight into healthier ways of dealing with the past.
