Abstract

Financial reports are one source of information that can be used to determine a company's financial position, performance and assist in making the right decision. This study aims to determine the use of methods of Altman Z-score in predicting corporate bankruptcies in Indonesia by using the data in the form of financial statements balance sheet and income statement of the company. Research method used is by using the method of Altman Z-Score that connects the five variables representing liquidity ratio (X1), Profitability (X2 and X3), Activity (X4 and X5). Z-Score formula = 1,2 X1 + 1,4 X2 + 3,3 X3 + 0,6 X4 + 1,0 X5. With criterion Z-Score > 2,99 categorized as a very healthy company. 1,81 < Z-Score < 2,99 are in the grey area so the chances saved and the possibility of bankruptcy as much depend on the company’s management policy decision as decision makers. Z-Score < 1,81 is categorized as a company that has a very large financial difficult and high risk so that huge downfall of possibilities.Keywords: Analysis of bankruptcy, Altman Z-Score model, Telecommunications company in Indonesia Stock Exchange

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the significance effect of product quality and servicequality to customer satisfaction, analyze the significance of product quality, servicequality and customer satisfaction to customer loyalty and analyze the significance ofeffect of product quality and service quality on customer loyalty with customersatisfaction as intervening variable. This study is a survey of restaurant customers KFCHartono Mall in Solo Baru. Samples of 100 people with purposive sampling technique.Data collection techniques used questionnaires. Data analysis technique used pathanalysis. The results showed that product quality and service quality has positive andsignificant effect on customer satisfaction. Product quality, service quality and customersatisfaction have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Product qualityand service quality has positive and significant effect on customer loyalty with customersatisfaction as intervening variable.Keywords: product quality, service quality, satisfaction, loyalty

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the significance of the effect of theleadership, work culture and motivation on employees performance and to analyze thesignificance of the effect of leadership and work culture on employees performancemoderated by motivation. This research is a survey of employees of PT Sakura Garmentin Surakarta. The study population of employees of PT Sakura Garment Surakartatotaling 228 people. Sample study 68 people with technique of proportional clusterrandom sampling. Data collection technique used questionnaire and literature. Datawere analyzed used multiple linear regression and test of absolute difference. The resultsshowed that the leadership has a significant effect on employees performance. Workculture has significant effect on employees performance. Motivation has a significanteffect on employees performance. Motivation does not moderate the effect of leadershipon employees performance. Motivation does not moderate the effect of corporate cultureon employees performance.Keywords: leadership, work culture, motivation, performance

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze: 1) the effect of product quality on customer satisfaction 2) the effect of brand equity on consumer satisfaction 3) the effect of product quality on customer satisfaction with the brand equity as a moderating variable. This study is a survey on consumer handphone Samsung in the Matahari Singosaren Plaza. The research sample of 100 people with sampling used purposive sampling and accidental sampling. The technique of collecting data used questionnaires. Data were analyzed used multiple linear regression and test of absolute difference. The results showed that the product quality has significant effect on consumer satisfaction Samsung android. Brand equity has significant effect on consumer satisfaction Samsung android. Brand equity does not moderate the effect of product quality on customer satisfaction Samsung android.Keywords: product quality, brand equity, consumer satisfaction.

Abstract

PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Branch Solo as banking institutions arealways working to improve customer satisfaction by providing optimum service andincrease customer confidence. The purpose of this study was to analyze the significanceof the impact of service quality on customer confidence in PT Bank Tabungan Negara(Persero) Tbk Branch Solo, analyze the significance of the impact of service quality andcustomer confidence in the customer satisfaction in PT Bank Tabungan Negara(Persero) Tbk Branch Solo, analyzing the mediating effect of customer confidence in theimpact of service quality on customer satisfaction in PT Bank Tabungan Negara(Persero) Tbk Branch Solo. This study uses survey method, the type of data usedquantitative and qualitative data, the data source used primary data and secondary data.The population in this study were all customer PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) TbkBranch Solo in January 2017. The number of samples in this study as many as 100customers, accidental sampling technique using random sampling. Data collectionmethods are used: questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis technique used totest the validity, reliability test, classic assumption test, and path analysis. In conclusion:1) There is significant influence service quality to customer confidence. 2) There was asignificant effect of service quality on customer satisfaction. 3) There is significantinfluence on customer satisfaction customer confidence. 4) The client's trust mediates theimpact of service quality on customer satisfaction.Keywords: service quality, trust, customer satisfaction

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to measure the performance of PDAM Surakarta using Balanced Scorecard method. This research was conducted taking data for 2 years, from 2015 and 2016 from PDAM annual report and annual financial report of PDAM. The type of data used is qualitative and quantitative data. Sources of data used are secondary data. Technique of collecting data with documentation, literature study and observation. Furthermore, the researcher compared the theories that become the basis of the research by using four perspectives: financial perspective, customer perspective, internal business perspective, learning and growth perspective, after measured by those four perspectives, PDAM will get the level of performance measure. From the results of the study shows that financial perspective has good results, Customer's perspective has poor results, Internal business perspective has good result, Learning perspective and growth have bad result. Surakarta PDAM performance measured by balanced scorecard method has good result, customer perspective and learning and growth perspective need to be improved its performance.Keywords: performance measurement, financial perspective, customer perspective, internal business perspective, learning and growth perspective, PDAM Surakarta

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze 1) the effect of beauty vlogger as e-WOM on brand image; 2) the influence of beauty vlogger as e-WOM on purchase intention; 3) the influence of brand image on purchase intention; and 4) the influence of beauty vlogger as e-WOM on purchase intention through brand image. This research was conducted at the students of Slamet Riyadi University, Surakarta. The sample size taken was 70 respondents, with non-probability sampling method and purposive sampling using path analysis. Based on the analysis, it was found that the beauty vlogger as e-WOM had a significant effect on brand image, beauty vlogger as e-WOM had a significant effect on buying interest, brand image had a significant effect on purchase intention, brand image mediates the influence of beauty vlogger as e-WOM on purchase intention. Based on the results of the research, the use of beauty vlogger must be decided appropriately in order to have a very large influence on the level of product salesKeywords: Beauty Vlogger, e-WOM, Brand Image, Purchase Intention.

Abstract

This research is meant to find out the influence of the variables of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Perfoming Ratio (NPF), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), (BOPO) dan Firm size to Return on Asset of Islamic banks operating in Indonesia from 2014 – 2016. The sample collection technique has been carried out by using purposive sampling method with the criteria of Islamic banks makes an annual financial report in the period 2014 – 2016, has been published in Islamic banks and banking companies have profit in the period 2014 – 2016. Based on the predetermined criteria, the sample of 6 Sharia Commercial Banks is obtained. The type of data used in this study is secondary data using financial report data and analysis techniques used are multiple linear regression. Result of t test show CAR, NPF, FDR and Company Size have no significant effect to ROA, but BOPO show significant influence to ROA. The result of F test of CAR, NPF, FDR, BOPO and Firm Size ratio have significant effect to ROA.Keywords: CAR, NPF, FDR, BOPO, Firm Size, ROA

Abstract

The merchant's income can be affected by various factors. This research is conducted to know the influence of equity, loan capital, and business location on merchant's revenue saturday shopping Karanganyar. The population of this study is all traders saturday shopping as much as 328 traders. The sample used amounted to 77 traders with cluster random sampling sampling method. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and interviews. Methods of data analysis using classic assumption test, multiple linear regression, test t, test F, and coefficient of determination (R2). The result of t analysis shows its equity and loan capital has significant influence to traders' revenue on saturday while business location has no significant effect to merchant's revenue Saturday. Coefficient determination R2 obtained value of adjusted R square of 0,521 this means that the contribution or influence given by the variable of equity, loan capital and business location is 52,1% while 47,9% influenced by other variables outside this study .Keywords: revenue, equity, loan capital, business location

Abstract

This study aims to determine the CAR, NPL, NIM, BOPO and LDR against ROA. Types of data used in this study are Qualitative Data and Quantitative Data. The data source used in this research is obtained from the annual financial statements of Foreign Exchange Private National Banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2013 - 2016 published on the BEI website (www.idx.co.id). The population in this study were 35 Banks, the sampling technique used purposive sampling that is 16 banks. Data analysis techniques used classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test and coefficient of determination. The result of the research shows that: CAR has no significant effect on ROA, NPL has no significant effect on ROA, significant effect on ROA, BOPO has no significant effect on ROA and it can be seen that Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) Non-Performing Loan (NPL), Net Interest Margin (NIM), Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO) and Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) have significant effect on Return On Assets (ROA).
