Abstract

Blended Learning merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran yang memadukan pembelajaran tatap muka (konvensional) dan pembelajaran online. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Experimental Designs dengan model One –Group Pretest- Postest Design, yang bertujuan untuk menilai perbedaan hasil belajar model pembelajaran blended learning dengan model pembelajaran tatap muka langsung (konvensional). Penelitian dilakukan pada mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris UIN Ar-raniry di semester Genap 2020/2021 yang berjumlah 30 orang yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan penelitian diperoleh nilai t hitung sebesar 9,517 dan pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 diperoleh nilai t tabel sebesar 2,045 yang artinya t hitung > t tabel (9,517 > 2,045) maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima artinya terdapat perbedaan rata-rata antara hasil belajar Pretest dan Posttest yang berarti bahwa pembelajaran model blended learning memberikan efektivitas yang signifikan dan lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran tatap muka (konvensional). Namun berdasarkan nilai rata-rata N-gain Score sebesar 29,90. atau 29,90% termasuk dalam kategori tidak efektif. Hal ini cukup dimaklumi mengingat berbagai kendala dan keterbatasan yang menyebabkan pembelajaran belum dapat dilaksanakan secara maksimal. Sehingga wajar sekali efektivitas model pembelajaran Blended learning dalam penelitian ini tidak efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Calang pada awal bulan Januari sampai  Maret 2020 bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa inggris khususnya keterampilan menulis melalui penggunaan metode Graphic Organizer bagi siswa kelas X IPA1 SMA Negeri 1 Calang yang berjumlah 22 siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri atas 2 siklus. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes menulis. Secara umum siswa dapat dikatakan sudah mengalami peningkatan dalam berbicara dilihat dari hasil siklus 1. Secara keseluruhan siklus dan tindakan atas penilain yang diperoleh dari siklus 1 adalah tidak ditemukan kemampuan siswa pada penilaian sangat baik,  penilaian baik dengan 9,09%, dan penilain cukup 81,81% dan penilain kurang dengan 9,09%. Sedangkan dengan hasil kriteria penilaian ,paragraph organization : 61,13%, cohesion adalah: 55,68%, structure and mechanics adalah 56,81% , vocabulary use  adalah 62,5% dan content adalah 64,77%. Sedangkan pada hasil siklus 2 ditemukan kemampuan siswa pada penilaian sangat baik,  penilaian baik dengan 9,09%, dan penilain baik 40,9% dan penilain cukup dengan 55% . Sedangkan dengan hasil kriteria penilaian ,paragraph organization : 76,13%, cohesion adalah: 70,45%, structure and mechanics adalah 67,04% , vocabulary use  adalah 65,9% dan content adalah 71,59% .Kata Kunci : Keterampilan menulis, metode Graphic Organizer This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Calang in early January to March 2020 aimed at improving English language skills, especially writing skills through the use of the Graphic Organizer method for the class X IPA1 students of SMA Negeri 1 Calang, totaling 22 students. The research method used is classroom action research (CAR) which consists of 2 cycles. The research instrument was a writing test. In general, students can be said to have experienced an increase in speaking seen from the results of cycle 1. Overall, the cycle and actions for the assessment obtained from cycle 1 are not found in the students' ability in very good assessment, good assessment with 9.09%, and sufficient assessment 81 ,81% and less rating with 9,09% . Meanwhile, with the results of the assessment criteria, paragraph organization: 61.13%, cohesion is: 55.68%, structure and mechanics is 56.81%, vocabulary use is 62.5% and content is 64.77%.While the results of cycle 2 found that the students' ability in the assessment was very good, the assessment was good with 9.09%, and the assessment was good at 40.9% and the assessment was sufficient with 55%. Meanwhile, with the results of the assessment criteria, paragraph organization: 76.13%, cohesion is: 70.45%, structure and mechanics is 67.04%, vocabulary use is 65.9% and content is 71.59%Keywords: Writing skill, Graphic Organizer method

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Calang selama tiga bulan sejak bulan Juli sampai September 2015. Penelitian tindakan kelas ( PTK ) dengan judul Penggunaan  Metode Grammar translation untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis Teks Descriptive  pada siswa kelas X IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Calang  adalah bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks Descriptive sesuai dengan fungsi,struktur teks dan unsur kebahasaan  sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya. Unsur yang di nilai adalah bagaimana siswa dapat menulis kalimat  dengan benar sesuai dengan struktur dan unsur kebahasaan  yang di pakai dalam menulis teks Descriptive. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut :pretes  siswa mendapat nilai rata – rata 36 (hampir semua kalimat tidak benar). Siklus I nilai rata-rata 50,25 .Siklus II nilai rata-rata 59,25 dan siklus III nilai rata-rata 70. Dari 20 orang siswa, ada 16 orang siswa yang  masuk kategori B, jika di persen kan maka 80 % siswa menulis sebagian besar kalimat  dengan benar . Jika 75 % sampai 84 % siswa bisa menguasai materi pembelajaran   maka termasuk dalam kategori  bagus. Jadi siswa berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan menulis  dengan menggunakan  Metode Grammar translation dan siswa lebih aktif dalam proses belajar.Kata kunci   : Grammar Translation Method, Teks DescriptiveThis research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Calang for three months from July to September 2015. Classroom action research (CAR) with the title Using the Grammar translation Method to improve the ability to write descriptive text in class X IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Calang is aimed at improve students' ability to write descriptive text according to the function, structure of the text and linguistic elements according to the context of its use. The element that is assessed is how students can write sentences correctly according to the structure and linguistic elements used in writing descriptive text. The results of the study are as follows: pretest students get an average score of 36 (almost all sentences are not true). Cycle I average value is 50.25. Cycle II average value is 59.25 and cycle III average value is 70. Of the 20 students, there are 16 students who fall into category B, if the percentage is right then 80% of the students write most of the sentences correctly. If 75% to 84% of students can master the learning material, it is included in the good category. Thus, the students succeeded in improving their writing skills by using the Grammar translation method and students were more active in the learning process.Keywords : Grammar Translation Method, Descriptive Text

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi  Banyak anak  yang termasuk dalam kategori anak rawan anak-anak yang membutuhkan perlindungan khusus. Perlindungan anak adalah segala usaha yang dilakukan untuk menciptakan kondisi agar setiap anak dapat melaksanakan hak dan kewajiban demi perkembangan dan pertumbuhan anak secara wajar baik fisik, mental dan social. Hadirnya Qanun Nomor 11 Tahun 2008 tentang perlindungan anak untuk meminimalisir terjadinya eksploitasi terhadap anak. Dari hasil penelitian peran dan fungsi Dinas Sosial melaksanakan pembinaan kesejahteraan social, pelayanan dan rehabilitasi sosial, Dinas Sosial Belum maksimal dalam menangani anak terlantar karena mempunyai keterbatasan di karenakan setiap tahunnya jumlah tinggi anak terlantar sedangkan dana yang tersedia terbatas sehingga kendalanya sumber daya manusia yaitu prasarana dan sarana tidak ada seperti rumah penampungan anak terlantarKata Kunci: Perlindungan, Kesejahteraan anak, Implementasi Qanun No 11 Tahun 2008.The background of this research is that many children are included in the category of vulnerable children who need special protection. Child protection is all efforts made to create conditions so that every child can exercise their rights and obligations for the proper development and growth of children physically, mentally and socially. Presence of Qanun Number 11 of 2008 concerning child protection to minimize exploitation of children. From the results of research on the role and function of the Social Service in carrying out social welfare development, social services and rehabilitation, the Social Service has not been maximal in dealing with neglected children because they have limitations because every year the number of abandoned children is high while the available funds are limited so that the constraints are human resources, namely infrastructure and There are no facilities such as shelters for neglected children.Keywords: Protection, Child Welfare, Implementation of Qanun No. 11 of 2008.

Abstract

English language instruction that moves away from offline to online should become the EFL lecturers’ concern for their students’ successful learning outcome. The students must be kept in the lecturers’ mind when they plan and program the instruction. This study aims at investigating the students’ perceptions and preferences on English instruction through e-learning implementation during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research applies a qualitative approach in a descriptive method design by involving 106 English class students from three different higher educations in Aceh, Indonesia. The thematic and comparative analyses are applied in analyzing the data. The findings of the study show that 50% of the students impress negative features concerning the internet network, a high need of internet quotas, the limitation of learning material explanation and absorption, and the social media influences. The study also reveals that 59.6% of positive features dominate the findings associated with the students’ interest in e-learning implementation as a new learning experience/exploration, engagement and enthusiasm, the flexibility of time and place, and the advance of digital technology usage and adaptation. Besides, WhatsApp, Opensimka, Google Classroom, and Google Meet have become the four most preferable e-learning platform among the respondents. It implies that e-learning implementation during the COVID-19 pandemic gives a variety of practical benefits to university students in the virtual English class. Yet, this still requires sufficient mentoring and extra supporting digital tools for the students and the lecturers.

Abstract

Keterampilan peserta didik dalam mengkomunikasikan ide-ide matematikanya dengan berbagai cara belum memenuhi harapan. Penting bagi guru mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa, karena hal tersebut dapat menjadi tantangan bagi guru untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa, baik dengan memperbaiki gaya belajar, menumbuhkan suasana belajar, maupun menggunakan model pembelajaran yang tepat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan faktorfaktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 4 orang siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Wih Pesam yang terletak di Kabupaten Bener Meriah. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara. Data dianalisis menggunakan pendekata kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan komunikasi lisan siswa adalah teman belajar, kepercayaan diri, malu, gugup, suasana pembelajaran berkelompok, waktu dilaksanakannya pembelajaran, dan gender. Sedangkan faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan komunikasi tulis siswa adalah tidak mampu menuliskan informasi yang diketahui dan ditanya pada soal, kurang fokus dalam belajar sehingga tidak mengerti materi yang diajarkan, tingkat kesulitan soal, dam ketenangan dalam mengerjakan soal.Kata Kunci: Kemampuan komunikasi matematis, faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Factors Affecting the Communication ofMathematical Ability for Junior High School StudentsThe skill of students in communicating their mathematical ideas in various ways have not met the expectations. It is important for teachers to know the factors that affect students’ mathematical communication abilities, because this can be a challenge for teachers to improve students’ mathematical communication skills either by improving learning styles, fostering a learning or using appropriate learning models. The purpose of this research is to describe the factors that influence students’ mathematical communication abilities. The subjects of this study consisted of 4 students of class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Wih Pesam located in Bener Meriah Regency. Data Collection techniques used are observation and interviews. Data were analyzed using a qualitative approach. The results showed that the factors that influenced students’ oral communication skills were study partners, self-confidence, shyness, nervousness, group learning atmosphere, time of study and gender. While the factors that affect students’ written communication skills are not being able to write down information that is known and asked about questions, lack of focus on learning, so they do not understand the material being taught, the level of difficulty of the questions and calmness in working on the questions.Keywords: Mathematical communication skills, factors influenced communication skills

Abstract

Ruang lingkup dalam penelitian ini adalah peningkatan kemampuan menganalisis unsur intrinsik cerpen pada siswa kelas XI MIA-2 SMA Negeri 1 Calang dan penerapan pembelajaran inkuiri dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar di kelas khususnya pada siswa kelas XI MIA-2 SMA Negeri 1 Calang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan gambaran yang lebih nyata dan sejelas-jelasnya mengenai apakah pembelajaran inkuiri dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menganalisis unsur intrinsik cerpen pada siswa kelas XI MIA-2 SMA Negeri 1 Calang Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022. Penelitian ini mengambil subjek siswa dan siswi kelas XI MIA-2 SMA Negeri 1 Calang dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 36 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes esay. Pada tes awal nilai rata-rata siswa 4,00, pada siklus I nilai rata-rata siswa 5,12, pada siklus II nilai rata-rata siswa 5,72, pada siklus III nilai rata-rata siswa 7,44. Dengan demikian, penerapan pembelajaran inkuiri dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menganalisis unsur intrinsik cerpen pada siswa kelas XI MIA-2 SMA Negeri 1 Calang tahun pelajaran 2021/2022.Kata kunci: Unsur intrinsic, cerpen dan Pembelajaran inkuiri.The scope of this study is to increase the ability to analyze the intrinsic elements of short stories in class XI MIA-2 students of SMA Negeri 1 Calang and the application of inquiry learning in teaching and learning activities in class, especially for students of class XI MIA-2 SMA Negeri 1 Calang. The purpose of this research is to get a more real and clear picture of whether inquiry learning can improve the ability to analyze the intrinsic elements of short stories in class XI MIA-2 SMA Negeri 1 Calang in the 2021/2022 academic year. This study took the subject of class XI MIA-2 SMA Negeri 1 Calang with a total of 36 students. Data collection was carried out using the essay test method. In the initial test the average value of students was 4.00, in cycle I the average value of students was 5.12, in cycle II the average value of students was 5.72, in cycle III the average value of students was 7.44. Thus, the application of inquiry learning in teaching and learning activities can improve the ability to analyze the intrinsic elements of short stories in class XI MIA-2 students of SMA Negeri 1 Calang in the 2021/2022 academic year.Keywords: Intrinsic elements, short stories and inquiry learning.

Abstract

Kegiatan berkomunikasi dilakukan secara lisan dan tulisan melalui bahasa. Keterampilan bahasa salah satunya ditentukan oleh penguasaan kosakata. Demikian halnya untuk menguasai bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa kedua di Indonesia. Pada tingkat sekolah menengah pertama, bahasa Inggris tercantum sebagai mata pelajaran muatan local yang artinya waktu yang tersedia untuk pelajaran ini lebih sedikit dari pelajaran lainnya. Hal ini berdampak pada lemahnya penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris bagi para lulusan. Dalam penelitian terhadap 43 orang siswa kelas 1 SMPN 1 Jaya Kabupaten Aceh Jaya melalui metode belajar audio bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata Bahasa Inggris mereka. Melalui metode yang berpusat pada pendengaran ini, siswa diperdengarkan sebuah informasi ringan untuk kemudian dapat menangkap, memahami dan mengingat informasi tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil test yang dilakukan dalam dua tahap ini diketahui bahwa 67.44% (29 orang) siswa dapat melaksanakan kegiatan tersebut sehingga ada perubahan positif dalam penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris mereka. Kata Kunci: Peningkatan Vocabulary, Metode Pembelajaran AudioCommunication activities are carried out orally and literally through a language. One of language skills is determined by vocabulary mastery. The same goes for mastering English as the second language in Indonesia. At the junior high school level, English is listed as a local content subject, which means that the time available for this lesson is less than for other subjects. This has an impact on the weak mastery of English vocabulary for graduates. This field research to 43 students on the first grade of SMPN 1 Jaya, Aceh Jaya District through audio learning method with the aim to improve the students’ English vocabulary mastery. By applying this hearing-centred method, the students are listened to a light piece of information to then be able to capture, understand and remember the messages. Based on the results of the tests carried out in two stages, it is found that 67.44 % (29 students) who can carry out the activities so that there is a positive change in their English vocabulary mastery.Key words: Vocabulary Improvement, Audio Learning Method
