Abstract

School is one of the formal educational institutions that are also inseparable from learning activities.Formal education institutions have institutional goals that are broken down in various substances, especially in learning materials related to the ability to speak in children. Speaking skills are something that must be owned by students so as not to vacuum in a discussion so as to be able to express ideas or ideas. The social environment of the community is very influential on the ability of children in the mastery or use of the Indonesian language properly and correctly. It is not uncommon to find a number of children who are less able or even unable to use Indonesian to express their hearts or ideas during teaching and learning activities. The strong influence of sasak language is very influential on the ability of children to speak Indonesian. The lack of Indonesian vocabulary is one of the problems that arise due to the lack of use of Indonesian in their surroundings. The use of sasak language which is very dominant both at home and at school is a major factor in the lack of ability of children to speak Indonesian.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role and strategy of school principals in improving the quality of education at Miftahul Ali IT High School from the leadership dimension and managerial dimension. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection is carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis is carried out with data reduction techniques, namely by using triangulation methods and sources. The results of this study show that there are 2 aspects of improvement made by school principals, namely as follows: a) the role of the principal as a leader  , namely by guiding and directing educators in creating interesting learning methods, then the school principal tries to establish communication with stakeholders who through reprimands and greetings and hearing directly input from teachers and school employees on the problems being faced, in making decisions the principal implements an open democracy system through deliberation and joint decisions, the principal also becomes a good example through disciplined behavior at work. As for determining the achievement of the program, the principal conducts periodic supervision and evaluation of the learning process and learning tools and utilizes the results of supervision to further improve learning activities through coaching and direction from the principal and supervisors. and b) the role of the principal as a manager, is carried out by managing the school starting from planning the school work program at the beginning of the school year at the time of the work meeting by involving educators and education staff as well as the management of the Foundation and committees, the principal also participates in educators and education personnel in various training and coaching activities to support competence, then the principal also maintains facilities and infrastructure periodically. The findings of this study show that the principal has realized his role in improving the quality of education at SMA IT Miftahul Ali Lendang Pengkores, by taking improvement steps.

Abstract

Character education is an education of ethics, morals, values, and character, which aims to develop the ability to determine good and bad and apply goodness in life. To realize character education, a foundation is needed as a reference in shaping the character of students. This study aims to analyze how the planning, implementation, and evaluation process on strengthening the character education of students at SMA Negeri 1 Aikmel East Lombok. This research uses a qualitative approach, with a descriptive qualitative type. The research site was at SMA Negeri 1 Aikmel East Lombok, with the subject of the research being the principal and the research informants being the student affairs and teachers. While the data collection technique uses observation, interview and documentation techniques, the data validation technique is carried out by triangulation, namely the triangulation technique of data sources and methods, then the data analysis technique is carried out in several stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusions drawing/verifying. The results of this study obtained an overview that: first, planning has been carried out as best as possible starting from the program planning meeting of goal formulation, strategy preparation, policy determination, procedure mapping, and program improvement involving all components of the school, deputy principal for curriculum, student affairs, infrastructure, public relations, treasurer, educators and education staff and school committees.; Second, the implementation of strengthening the character of students runs well through organizing activities and actions focusing on the character values of students; Third, the evaluation of the process of strengthening students' character education through activities to supervise the implementation of activities, reflect, analyze and follow up.

Abstract

Realitanya manusia sebagai mahluq yang berfikir, pada era digitalisasi saat ini mau tidak mau mereka digiring untuk menikmati produk-produk hasil akal manusia yang berupa ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi sehingga menjadikan pola pikir mereka paragmatis, materealis, dan hedonis. Hal demikian dapat kita lihat dari semakin meningkatnya gaya hidup masyarakat yang konsumtif dan mengesampingkan norma yang berlaku dalam masyarakat trutama generasi milenial. Era digitalisasi yang ditandai dengan kemajuan teknologi berupa internet membawa prubahan besar dalam mengakses informasi yang serba gampang. Informasi bisa didapat kapan dan dimanapun kita berada, akan tetapi cepatnya informasi tersebut akan membawa perubahan tersendiri bagi masyarakat kita terutama perubahan moral anak bangsa. Degradasi moral anak bangsa merupakan suatu perhatian tersendiri bagi bangsa Indonesia. Jenis Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai spiritual dalam Program Tahfidzul Qur’an di SMP Islam Tahfidz Kerongkong, Untuk mengetahui proses internalisasi nilai-nilai spiritual dalam membentuk karakter siswa melalui program Tahfidzul Qur’an di SMP Islam Tahfidz Kerongkong, Untuk megetahui proses pembentukan karakter siswa melalui program Tahfidzul Qur’an di SMP Islam Tahfidz Kerongkong.
