Abstract

Suatu teknologi akan diadopsi oleh petani apabila teknologi tersebut memberikan keuntungan bagi petani, termasuk untuk usahatani kedelai lahan pasang surut yang pada umumnya ditanami kedelai sekali dalam setahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan perubahan teknologi rekomendasi kedelai yang diintroduksikan pada lahan pasang surut. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Rantau Makmur, Kecamatan Rantau Rasau, Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur, Provinsi Jambi dari bulan Juni sampai dengan bulan Oktober 2020. Metode penelitian on-farm pada lahan petani yang tergabung dalam kelompok tani Bambu Runcing. Hasil penelitian menunjunkan bahwa teknologi rekomendasi layak untuk diintroduksikan. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil analisis Marginal B/C sebesar 2,1 dengan tambahan keuntungan Rp 2.860.000,-/musim/ha. Kenaikan produksi minimum yang harus dicapai adalah 533,4 kg/ha. dengan kata lain, produksi minimum kedelai yang harus dicapai dari penerapan teknologi rekomendasi yang diintroduksikan adalah ( 1150 kg + 533,4 kg ) = 1.683,4 kg/ha. Titik Impas Harga (TIH) adalah Rp 2.424,8 /kg. ini berarti bahwa penerapan teknologi rekomendasi layak kalau turunnya harga kedelai tidak dibawah Rp 2.424,8 / kg. dengan kata lain, selama harga kedelai per kg Rp 2.424,8 atau lebih, maka teknologi rekomendasi ini masih layak untuk diintroduksikan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengkajian adalah melihat kendala penggunaan alsintan dan manfaatnya untuk petani penangkar padi sawah. Kajian dilaksanakan di Desa Rawa Medang Kecamatan Batang Asam Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat pada bulan Januari sampai Desember 2019. Varietas yang ditanam adalah varietas Inpara 3 yang sudah eksis di wilayah kajian.. Data dari kajian ini diperoleh dari dua sumber yaitu untuk data mengenai ketersediaan alsintan, jenis dan jumlahnya bersumber dari data skunder, dan data mengenai data produksi, produktivitas dan hasil benih diambil dari data primer. Dari hasil kajian didapatkan bahwa semua petani penangkar yang tergabung kedalam kelompok tani telah memanfaatkan alsintan dalam melakukan proses usahataninya baik untuk proses budidaya, panen dan pasca panen. Usaha penangkaran benih padi varietas Inpara 3 layak dilakukan dengan nilai R/C 2,75. Besarnya penerimaan petani sebesar Rp 37.590.000 dan keuntungan sebesar Rp 23.907.000/musim tanam.

Abstract

Kayu manis (Cinnamomum zeylanicum ) merupakan salah satu komoditas unggulan Kabupaten Kerinci, namun pembudidayaannya masih bersifat alami dan belum banyak tersentuh oleh kemajuan inovasi teknologi. Tujuan pengkajian adalah untuk : 1) mendapatkan bibit kayu manis varietas unggul lokal berkualitas sesuai standar yang ditetapkan, 2) melihat potensi dan strategi pengembangannya. Metodologi pengkajian melakukan pendampingan teknologi perbenihan kayu manis pada kelompok tani penangkar secara partisipatif. Teknologi anjuran meliputi; pengambilan sumber bibit dari Pohon Induk Terpilih (PIT) dalam kebun Blok Penghasil Tinggi (BPT), melakukan penyeleksian bibit, pendederan, penanaman dalam polybek, pemupukan, dan pengendalian organisme penganggu tanaman (OPT). Hasil pengkajian didapatkan bahwa bibit yang dihasilkan dengan perlakuan teknologi berhasil mencapai + 90 % sesuai kriteria bibit rekomendasi. Sedangkan bibit yang dihasilkan dari pembibitan dengan cara petani tidak bisa disetifikasi. Sumberdaya alam sangat Kerinci merupakan potensi komparaatif yang sangat besar untuk pengembangan komoditi ini dengan strategi pengembangan adalah melakukan kerja sama dengan kelompok tani penangkar, meningkatkan aktifitas penyuluhan kepada petani dan menyediakan biji kayu manis yang dibutuhkan.

Abstract

Identifikasi merupakan langkah awal yang penting dalam rangka memahami kondisi sistem usahatani disuatu wilayah. Hasil indentifikasi akan menentukan keputusan penting dalam pengembangan sistem usahatani (Hendayana, R. 2007). Keberhasilan usahatani tidak hanya tergantung pada faktor teknis dan biologis tetapi juga tergantung pada faktor sosial ekonomi dan kelembagaan. Oleh karena itu sumberdaya alam, sumberdaya manusia, teknologi dan kelembagaan adalah faktor - faktor penggerak dalam peningkatan produktivitas, kualitas dan nilai tambah usahatani. Empat faktor tersebut merupakan faktor kecukupan untuk mencapai suatu keragaan usahatani yang dikehendaki, artinya, satu atau lebih dari faktor tersebut tidak ada atau tidak sesuai dengan persyaratan kecukupan yang dimaksud, maka usahatani yang akan dikembangkan tidak dapat menghasilkan keragaan usahatani seperti yang diinginkan.

Abstract

This study is the first to apply a relationship approach between farmer groups and other supporting institutions to develop a farming system and rice crop institutions in a region. The study aims to solve the problems faced by rice farmers in Rawa Medang village, West Tanjung Jabung Regency, by facilitating the adoption of sustainable rice farming system technology through institutional cooperation. The methodology used in this study applies the Participatory Research Appraisal (PRA) method, to explore the problems faced by rice farmers. Alternative interventions include the formation of several farmer groups or Gapoktan, named Joint Enterprises, a short discussion about the rice farming system, looking at the urgent needs of farmer groups, and connecting them with supporting institutions. Based on the PRA results, the problems prioritized are (1) Rice stem disease by Blas, (2) The presence of snail pests, (3) Seedlings, (4) Capital, (5) Subsidized fertilizer, (6) Meetings between groups, and (7) Technical guidance for rice plants. The novelty of this study is that it introduces a new framework of institutional engineering analysis supporting rice farming technology, based on the FSA (Farming System Analysis) concept. The study also provides empirical evidence of the effectiveness of the relationship approach in improving the productivity and profitability of rice farming in the region. The study contributes to the literature on agricultural development and innovation by highlighting the role of institutional cooperation in enhancing the adoption of sustainable rice farming system technology.

Abstract

The Paal Merah Village area, Paal Merah Jambi District, City is dominated by dry land with a wet climate, so the developing farming pattern is based on dry land with a wet climate. This paper aims to study the characteristics of farmers in dry land with wet climates and their implications for the application of farming technology. The research was conducted in Paal Merah Village, Paal Merah District, Jambi City, in 2020, involving 25 farmers who were randomly selected as respondents. Through descriptive data analysis, the following picture is obtained: First, vegetable farming at the research location has the potential to be developed intensively and sustainably. Second, support from the characteristics of farmers of productive age, a fairly high level of education, and farming experience will motivate farmers. To increase its business intensively. Third, opportunities to increase farming productivity are still wide open through optimizing the use of potential farming land resources based on farmers' strengths and weaknesses. Fourth, to increase productivity in dry land areas with wet climates, the strategy is to diversify businesses (multi enterprises); implementing integrated farming patterns, accelerating technology dissemination and encouraging the growth of partnership collaboration networks. For the multi-enterprise strategy to be implemented, it is necessary to have a soft credit scheme policy whose implementation is accompanied by assistance from extension workers and researchers.

Abstract

Production efficiency is a crucial factor in producing seeds. This paper aims to estimate the level of efficiency of rice seed production and determine the factors that influence it using a frontier stochastic production function approach. The rice varieties developed are Inpara3, Inpari Nutri Zink and Baroma. The research was conducted in Rawa Medang Village, Batang Asam District, West Tanjung Jabung Regency, Jambi Province, in December 2021. Data collection was carried out through observation and in-depth interviews with seed breeders. By using the frontier production function, the conclusion is obtained: The efficiency level of rice farming for superior varieties is relatively good, with the efficiency level at level 6. All rice seed breeders show effective performance. To increase the efficiency of rice farming in the future, it is necessary to sharpen the use of production input inputs. The consideration is that the breeder's orientation is to produce quality seed for use by the farming community. Therefore, more intensive technological assistance is needed.

Abstract

Introduction: Typhoid fever is a systemic disease caused by bacterial infection, so rational use of antibiotics is important in the treatment of typhoid fever to support effectiveness and prevent antibiotic resistance. The aim of this study was to assess the rationality of antibiotic use in pediatric typhoid fever patients at the Cut Meutia Regional General Hospital, North Aceh using the Gyssens method based on IDAI and Ministry of Health guidelines.Method: This research is descriptive. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique and time limited sampling method. The samples in this study were medical records of pediatric typhoid fever patients in the inpatient room of Cut Meutia Hospital, North Aceh 2022.Results: The results obtained ceftriaxone as the most commonly administered antibiotic, followed by cefixime, and quinolones. For rationality, there was ceftriaxone classified as category 0 as much as 4,4%, Category II A in ceftriaxone and cefixime as much as 17,5%, category II B in ceftriaxone as much as 0,6%, category III B in ceftriaxone and cefixime as much as 51,2%, category IV B in quinolones as much as 6,9%, and category VI in incomplete medical records as much as 19,4%.Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that the most frequently used antibiotic is ceftriaxone, while the level of rationality indicates a significant proportion of irrational use.

Abstract

This study focuses on the impact of goat manure and rice husk charcoal distribution on oil palm cultivation in former mining lands. The objective is to determine the optimal combination of goat manure and rice husk charcoal that enhances the growth of oil palm plants on these lands. Conducted in Pijoan Village, Muaro Jambi District, Jambi Province in 2021, the research utilized a completely randomized block design with 8 treatments and 3 repetitions, yielding 24 experimental units. The eight treatments consisted of varying ratios of goat manure to rice husk charcoal: (P1) 150 g goat manure + 325 g rice husk charcoal per planting hole, through (P8) 325 g goat manure + 150 g rice husk charcoal per planting hole. Results indicated that the combination of 325 g goat manure + 150 g rice husk charcoal (P8) provided the best outcomes in plant height, stem diameter, leaf balance at the third frond, and total frond count on reclaimed land.

Abstract

Perkembangan Artificial Intelligence (AI) telah memberikan kontribusi besar dalam berbagai sektor, termasuk dalam bidang konseling. Dalam konseling Islam, integrasi AI membuka peluang baru untuk menghadirkan layanan bimbingan spiritual dan psikologis yang lebih cepat, personal, serta mudah diakses. Teknologi platform digital berbasis machine learning memungkinkan perluasan jangkauan layanan, khususnya kepada generasi digital. Namun, pemanfaatan AI dalam konseling Islam juga menimbulkan sejumlah tantangan etis, seperti potensi distorsi ajaran, hilangnya sentuhan kemanusiaan, penyalahgunaan otoritas keagamaan oleh sistem non-manusia, serta ancaman terhadap privasi data pengguna. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara kritis peluang dan tantangan tersebut melalui pendekatan literatur kualitatif. Ditekankan pentingnya keterlibatan para pakar agama dan etika dalam implementasi AI agar teknologi ini selaras dengan syariat Islam dan mampu memperkuat peran konselor manusia, bukan menggantikannya.
