Abstract

Manajemen syariah merupakan pendekatan dalam pengelolaan organisasi yang berlandaskan prinsip-prinsip Islam, yang bertujuan untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi dengan tetap mematuhi aturan dan nilai-nilai syariah. Dipahami manajemen syariah mencakup proses perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan yang sesuai dengan hukum Islam. Dasar hukum manajemen syariah didasarkan pada Al-Qur'an, Sunnah, serta Ijma' dan Qiyas, yang menyediakan kerangka hukum dan etika untuk menentukan kebijakan serta praktik manajemen yang sesuai dengan ketentuan syariah. Dasar operasional manajemen syariah melibatkan penerapan nilai-nilai seperti keadilan, transparansi, tanggung jawab, dan keseimbangan dalam seluruh aspek pengelolaan, termasuk keuangan, sumber daya manusia, serta pengambilan keputusan. Manajemen syariah tidak terbatas pada lembaga keuangan, tetapi dapat diterapkan dalam berbagai sektor lain seperti pendidikan, kesehatan, dan bisnis secara umum. Namun, terdapat problematika dalam penerapannya, seperti keterbatasan pemahaman mengenai prinsip-prinsip syariah, kendala integrasi dengan praktik bisnis modern, serta tantangan kepatuhan terhadap syariah di tengah perkembangan global. Teknik analisis yang digunakan untuk mengatasi problematika ini mencakup audit syariah dengan analisis SWOT, PESTEL dan pendekatan partisipatif untuk mengevaluasi kepatuhan terhadap prinsip-prinsip syariah, penilaian maqashid syariah untuk memastikan bahwa tujuan utama syariah tercapai, dan syariah compliance untuk meninjau serta menyelesaikan ketidaksesuaian dengan aturan syariah. Pendekatan analisis tersebut memungkinkan tercapainya keseimbangan antara kepatuhan terhadap syariah dan pencapaian tujuan organisasi secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the waste management strategy of the Kupang City Environment and Sanitation Agency in addressing the challenge of increasing waste volume. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, utilizing observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation with key informants such as field officers, agency staff, and the community. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, with validation through source and technique triangulation. The results indicate that the waste management strategy focuses on five main pillars: regulatory strengthening, communication, information, and education (IEC), institutional strengthening, coordination and collaboration, and a circular economy. Despite the strategy's implementation, the target of reducing waste by 1–5% per year has not been achieved, with daily waste volume increasing from 233 tons (2023) to 234 tons (2024). Key obstacles include limited infrastructure, low community participation (approximately 20%), a minimal operational budget, and reliance on landfills. This strategy has been implemented in a structured manner through a clear division of tasks and effective vertical-horizontal communication. Officers demonstrated high commitment, although individual discipline issues persisted. Quarterly evaluations indicated the need to revise the strategy to be more adaptive, data-driven, and technology-driven. Facility improvements, ongoing education, and community engagement are key factors in creating an effective and sustainable waste management system in Kupang City

Abstract

The background of this research is the importance of innovation in education in the digital age, where teachers are required to be highly creative in presenting lessons to enable more active and creative students. The primary focus of this research is to explore how the creativity of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers can be enhanced through the use of Information Technology (IT)-based media. The problem formulation in this study is Creativity Enhancement Strategy: Islamic Religious Education teachers utilize IT-based learning media such as PowerPoint (PPT) and smartphones to create varied teaching materials. This strategy involves the use of creative applications such as Canva to design materials and CapCut or TikTok to document and publish student assignments. Forms of Creativity: Teacher creativity is manifested in two main forms, namely Ideas (unique thinking for learning solutions) and Products/Services (such as making explanatory videos, digital calligraphy, and educational content on social media). Impact and Constraints: The use of IT has been proven to increase student motivation and activeness in learning Islamic Religious Education, although there are still technical constraints in the form of unstable internet connections. This study employed qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with the principal, Islamic Religious Education teachers, and students, and documentation. The study took place at SMP Negeri 1 Kolaka. The focus of the study included strategies for enhancing teacher creativity and the forms of creativity generated during the learning process. This study concludes that the creativity of Islamic Religious Education teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Kolaka is very important to motivate students to be more active and accelerate the achievement of learning objectives through the integration of relevant and innovative technology.
