Abstract

Shadow economy is a market for legal and illegal goods and services that escape recording and estimation of GDP. It can cause inaccurate estimation of GDP, declining tax revenue, and less precise economic policies. Improving the quality of human capital, both in education and health dimensions, can reduce shadow economy. The research aims to estimate shadow economy and analyze the influence of the quality of human capital on shadow economy in Indonesia. Applying time series multiple linear regression analysis, the findings show that the average shadow economy in Indonesia is 28.97 percent, changes in life expectancy negatively affect changes in shadow economy, while changes in the gross participation rate of tertiary education have a positive effect.

Abstract

Extreme poverty is a global issue contained in SDG's first goal. Indonesia through the National Team for the Acceleration of Poverty Reduction (TNP2K) is committed to eradicating extreme poverty, namely zero percent by the end of 2024. Based on the results of the 2021 TNP2K study, 5 districts/cities in Maluku were selected as priority areas for extreme poverty eradication in Indonesia. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of household characteristics on extreme poverty status in Maluku in 2021. The results of the study using data from the March 2021 national socio-economic survey (Susenas) and the binary logistic regression analysis method show that at a significance level of 5 percent the number household members, building resilience, occupancy density, main source of lighting, and Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) have a significant effect on the extreme poverty status of households in Maluku in 2021. In conclusion, to eradicate extreme poverty in Maluku, the government can prioritize improving the quality of facilities and supporting infrastructure for inter-island connectivity in Maluku, clove and nutmeg productivity development, industrialization of the fisheries sector through Lumbung Ikan Nasional (LIN) in Maluku, increased counseling on Keluarga Berencana (KB) program, KB villages, a livable housing program both from the aspect of building resilience and density housing, equitable access to electricity, and evaluating the list of beneficiaries of the BPNT program. For the sustainability of this research, regional variables such as village funds can be considered.

Abstract

In the history of curriculum development in Indonesia, the Ministry of National Education Research and Development since 1979 has pioneered this prestigious development program in the Supervision Project and CBSA (Active Student Learning Method). The results of this project were then replicated in a number of regions and developed through training of teaching staff throughout Indonesia. This effort, which began at the elementary school level, then encouraged the implementation of an active learning approach at the secondary school level. The results of these efforts were gradually integrated into the 1984 Curriculum, the 1994 Curriculum, and the 2004 Competency-Based Curriculum, which was followed by the Content Standards which are better known as the 2006 Educational Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP) (Mushfiqon and Nanda, 2015) . The scientific approach is a learning model that provides space for students to explore and elaborate on the material being studied. Apart from that, this education model also provides students with the opportunity to hone their abilities through learning activities designed by the teacher (Rusman, 2015). The scientific approach method is a teaching and learning process that is designed in such a way that students actively construct concepts and laws through manifestation in various stages of observing (to identify or find problems), describing problems, formulating hypotheses, collecting data using various techniques, analyzing data, draw conclusions, and communicate the concepts, laws or principles found (Karar and Yenice, 2012). This research uses a survey method. The data was obtained using a questionnaire/questionnaire. The research was carried out at MI Muhammadiyah Kalibeber, Mojotengah District, Wonosobo Regency with all teachers who were still active in teaching and learning activities. Bearing in mind that the target of this research is all teachers at MI Muhammadiyah Kalibeber, Mojotengah District, Wonosobo Regency, totaling 7 teachers. This research uses three types of data analysis, namely percentage analysis, chi square (x2), and Pearson product moment correlation. Percentage analysis is used to describe factors that influence teacher understanding. Chi square and product moment analysis to find out how much influence these factors have on teachers' understanding and response to the scientific approach. Learning with a scientific approach is a learning process that is designed in such a way that students actively construct concepts, laws or principles through the stages of observing (to identify or find problems), describing problems, proposing or compiling hypotheses, collecting data using various techniques, analyzing data, draw conclusions and communicate “discovered” concepts, laws or principles.

Abstract

The role of guidance and counseling is very important in the world of schooling. In carrying out this role, of course there are obstacles and problems that occur from both internal and external factors. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method approach. By collecting data through observation, documentation and interviews in the field. Based on the results of observations, it was found that at MI Mummadiyah there were students who could not read well or were not fluent in reading, this was because students did not participate in teaching and learning activities well and effectively. The delay in students' ability to read from their friends is due to environmental conditions. Teachers' efforts to overcome this are to improve learning to read, providing facilitation either at home or at school for reading. After carrying out these efforts, it was found that students who were lagging behind in their reading skills were finally able to overcome them and keep up with their other friends who read fluently.

Abstract

The Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of the mining and quarrying sector is one of the leading sectors in South Kalimantan. However, the limitations in mining and quarrying resources pose a threat to the economy of South Kalimantan. Forecasting is conducted to assess the prospects of the mining and quarrying sector, especially since the government's National Medium-Term Development Plan for 2020-2024 targets an economic growth rate for the mining sector of 1.9 - 2.0 percent. This study aims to forecast the GRDP of the mining and quarrying sector in South Kalimantan using the ARIMA model. The research results indicate that the best model is ARIMA (2,1,4) with a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) accuracy level of 5.054 percent. The GRDP of the mining and quarrying sector is projected to continue increasing in 2024. The findings of this study are expected to provide information for stakeholders to formulate relevant policies to sustain and enhance the mining sector, particularly in South Kalimantan, given its significant employment generation capacity.

Abstract

The economy in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) is dominated by the agricultural sector with the largest contribution to the NTT PDRB in 2023. In the same year NTT became the province with the lowest farmer’s terms of trade (NTP) and becoming a benchmark of farmer welfare in NTT is not good enough. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the general picture of NTPP in NTT in the January 2016 – June 2024 data period and predict some future period with SARIMA method. Forecasts with the ARIMA model (0,1,0)(0,1,1)12 produced a MAPE of 2,3553%. The results of the forecasts for the next year for the period July 2024 – June 2025, indicate that the NTPP figure is below 100, meaning that food crops farmers in the NTT are not well enough. The outcome of this forecast is expected to be considered by the government in an effort to improve the well-being of food crops farmers.

Abstract

Tourism is a potential sector to improve the Indonesian economy. The Indonesian government has made efforts to develop tourism by appointing ten priority tourist destinations. However, the contribution of tourism PAD to PAD is still relatively very less. This study aims to analyze the overview of tourism PAD performance and the influence of tourism seen from the 4A components, namely attraction, amenities, access, and ancillary to PAD in ten priority tourist destination provinces. The results showed that Tourism PAD in the provinces of ten priority tourist destinations still fluctuates and has a very insufficient contribution. The estimation results of panel data regression with the Fixed Effect Model show that the number of visitors to tourist attractions, the occupancy rate of star hotel rooms, and the length of the road have a positive influence on PAD. This research is expected to provide information for related parties in determining policies to increase PAD through tourism, especially in the 10 provinces of priority tourist destinations.

Abstract

The oil and gas sector remains the primary source of energy in Indonesia. However, the industry faces a significant challenge in declining production year after year. This situation necessitates the implementation of appropriate policies and decisions in oil and gas management to achieve energy security and self-sufficiency through forecasted data. By utilizing forecasting results, it is possible to estimate the realization of the RPJMN targets for oil and gas production for 2023-2024. This study aims to analyze the general trend of Indonesia's oil and gas production from the first quarter of 2007 to the second quarter of 2023, determine the best forecasting model by comparing Holt’s Double Exponential Smoothing and ARIMA methods, and forecast oil and gas production from the third quarter of 2023 to the fourth quarter of 2024 using the best method. The study results indicate a decline in oil and gas production, with an average growth rate of -0.69 percent and -0.48 percent, respectively. Holt's Double Exponential Smoothing is the best method for forecasting oil production, while ARIMA is more suitable for forecasting gas production. The forecast results show a decline in oil production, with an average production of 52,763.19 thousand barrels, and an increase in gas production, with an average production of 493,306.05 MMscf over the next six quarters. This indicates that the oil and gas production targets set by the RPJMN and the Directorate General of Oil and Gas for 2023-2024 have not yet been achieved.
