Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Product Knowledge and Customer Relationship Marketing on Customer Buying Interest at PT. RHB Securities Indonesia Medan. The research methodology used is a quantitative descriptive method. The research population that will be used in the research is all prospective customers who will make purchases from the company during the 2023 period, the exact number of which is not known. Due to the unknown population and bias in the number of consumers who make purchases, using the Hairs formula, 100 respondents were obtained, while the sampling technique was to use accidental sampling. The results of the research analysis show that the variable has a significant positive influence partially and simultaneously between Product Knowledge and Customer Relationship Marketing on customer buying interest at PT. RHB Securities Indonesia

Abstract

As knowledgeable people, lecturers are required to educate and advance people's lives. Therefore it is mandatory to carry out community service activities, as proof of the contribution of the lecturers. Lecturers are required to contribute their abilities, both in the fields of knowledge, energy, and materials. Community service programs are carried out through direct interaction through lectures, discussions and practices. The participants as partners are the women members of the GKPI Congregation for Exemplary Church. With this PkM program it can increase the creativity of mothers, through knowledge of interesting flower arrangement techniques, it can be used as new business opportunities so that new entrepreneurs are created.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of social media and content marketing on purchasing decisions at Rezeky Payet Medan. Rezeky Payet Indonesia is known as a supplier of high-quality raw materials for the fashion industry in Medan. The method used in this study is quantitative descriptive, and population use in this study consists of consumers who have shopped at Rezeky Payet Medan, the exact number of whom cannot be determined. Due to the uncertain number of respondents, the researcher used the hair method, which is a method employed when the researcher does not know the exact population size. In this study, 120 respondents were obtained, while the sampling technique used was accidental sampling. Data testing analysis consists of descriptive classical assumption tests, multiple linear analysis, partial hypothesis tests (t-test) and simultaneous tests (f-test), as well as the coefficient of determination test. The analysis results show a positive significant influence, both partially and simultaneously, between social media and content marketing on purchasing decisions at Rezeky Payet Medan.

Abstract

Housewives are often faced with a choice between their roles as mere housewives, or as working mothers who can help add to the household economy. In the current era of digitalization, there are many business opportunities for housewives with small capital that can be opened at any time and can be done independently. Participants in this PKM are housewives in Kampung Johar village, with the aim of developing the creativity of housewives in utilizing agricultural products as village potential. The results of this PKM are in the form of fortified rice milk products. This PKM activity increases the knowledge of housewives and the opportunity to become new entrepreneurs. The methods used in this service are training, mentoring, discussion and question-and-answer methods.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) at the Madam Souvenir Bakery in order to increase the effectiveness of production machines. The method used is Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) measurement to assess machine performance based on three factors: availability, performance and quality. The OEE calculation results show a value of 72.2%, which is below the ideal standard of 85%. In-depth analysis identified "speed losses" as the main factor influencing the decline in machine effectiveness. To overcome this problem, several recommendations were implemented, including independent maintenance by the operator and a regular maintenance schedule (planned maintenance). The implementation of TPM has proven to be effective in minimizing losses due to downtime and improving product quality. It is hoped that the results of this research can help Madam Souvenir Bakery achieve production targets more efficiently.

Abstract

Digital transformation has fundamentally changed the financial services sector, demanding the presence of skilled digital talent capable of adapting to and leveraging technologies such as Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Big Data Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence. This research aims to explore the role of higher education in developing the digital talent necessary to accelerate digital transformation in this sector. This study employs a qualitative-descriptive research design with a literature review approach. The literature review was conducted by collecting articles from reputable international journals indexed in Scopus that align with the research objectives over the past five years (2019-2024) using the Publish or Perish (PoP) application. Content analysis was then performed to identify the challenges and opportunities in creating a relevant curriculum for developing digital talent in the financial services sector in Indonesia through higher education, as well as how this can support the acceleration of digital transformation. The results indicate that collaboration between higher education and industry, along with government policy support, is crucial for creating a competitive and innovative financial ecosystem. This research recommends the development of educational programs that emphasize digital skills and adaptive capabilities to meet the ever-evolving market needs.

Abstract

The object of community service in this activity is the village assisted by LPPM STIE Eka Prasetya, namely Pematang Johar village. The implementation of community service activities is based on the aim of educating UMKM actors in Pematang Johar village in understanding online loans registered with the OJK, and digital transactions that are useful for recording incoming and outgoing money automatically. The involvement of UMKM in this activity is very enthusiastic, and the desire to know about online loans is very high, this can be seen from the question and answer that went very well.

Abstract

The culinary industry in Indonesia, particularly the dimsum sector, is undergoing rapid development in response to increasing consumer demand for practical and flavorful ready-to-eat meals. This study aims to analyze and optimize the production strategy of Dimsum Kota Medan by applying linear programming using the primal simplex method. The research adopts a case study approach, with data collected through direct interviews and observations to identify production goals, decision variables, and existing operational constraints such as labor, raw materials, and time availability. The simplex method is then applied to determine the optimal production combination that yields the highest profit. The findings show that to achieve a maximum daily profit (Zmax) of IDR 19,800,000, the enterprise should produce 60 portions of original dimsum (X1) and 60 portions of hakau dimsum (X2). Although the model operates under the assumption of linearity and does not capture all external market dynamics, it offers practical guidance for decision-making in resource allocation. This study demonstrates the relevance of mathematical optimization techniques in enhancing profitability for small and medium-sized culinary enterprises in a competitive market environment.

Abstract

Toko ABC adalah usaha yang bergerak di bidang jasa pencucian/laudry. Usaha laundry berusaha untuk menempatkan lima karyawan pada lima jenis pekerjaan dengan cara yang paling efisien, agar dapat mencapai performa rata-rata yang terbaik. Selain itu, mereka juga perlu memilih satu toko dari enam lokasi yang tersedia agar sesuai dengan area operasional. Masalah pertama berkaitan dengan pencocokan antara karyawan dan jenis pekerjaan menggunakan matriks performa, sementara masalah kedua adalah mengubah situasi menjadi skenario yang tidak biasa dengan menambahkan dummy untuk mengisi satu toko. Masalah ini disebut Masalah Penugasan (Assigment Problem). Metode algoritme Hungarian adalah salah satu cara untuk menemukan solusi yang optimal untuk kedua situasi tersebut. Penerapan ini dilakukan pada data operasional bisnis laundry yang berukuran menengah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa algoritme Hungarian berhasil memberikan penugasan yang optimal bagi karyawan, sehingga rata-rata performa dapat mencapai puncaknya, serta menentukan toko mana yang sebaiknya ditutup sambil tetap mempertahankan efisiensi operasional. Perbedaan antara situasi normal dan tidak normal hanya terletak pada tahap praproses data, sementara solusi akhir tetap optimal. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa metode Hungarian merupakan alat yang efektif dan praktis untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dalam penugasan serta pengambilan keputusan strategis di bisnis.
