Abstract

Particularly in the context of Christian Religious Education, the question of children's spiritual growth and development is a critical component in the process of character formation, resulting in a holistic personality. Children benefit greatly from the use of Christian Religious Education psychology since it helps them comprehend the importance of faith, morality, and spirituality in a way that is suitable for their stage of psychological development. Data for this study were gathered by analyzing a variety of pertinent literature sources that were linked to the research issue. The author used a qualitative method in conjunction with a library research methodology. The purpose of this study is to examine how Christian Religious Education psychology concepts might be applied to improve children's spiritual development in the smallest social settings the family, school, and church. The study's end findings show that using Christian Religious Education psychology helps kids become more aware of the principles of their faith, behave in ways that emphasize love, behave responsibly, and have a positive relationship with God. It is anticipated that this study will improve the analytical abilities of church ministers, particularly those who specialize in children's ministry, parents of children, and educators who use it as a teaching tool. It is acceptable and effective for the demands of children's spiritual growth and development when a mature and proper technique is used.

Abstract

Modern social life faces increasingly complex moral challenges. Polarization, declining empathy, intolerant behavior, crises of integrity, and the degradation of ethics in both public and digital interactions indicate a weakening of society’s moral foundations. These conditions call for an ethical approach capable of restoring the quality of social relationships and strengthening human values. This study aims to examine the application of Christian ethical principles—such as love, justice, integrity, forgiveness, and service—as a foundation for shaping constructive social behavior. The method employed is a systematic and narrative literature review, analyzing journals, academic books, and theological articles published between 2020 and 2025 that are relevant to Christian ethics and social life. The findings indicate that the value of love enhances social solidarity; justice strengthens the protection of vulnerable groups; integrity builds public trust; forgiveness supports social reconciliation; and service promotes humanitarian action and community empowerment. These findings demonstrate that Christian ethics can make a meaningful contribution to addressing contemporary moral issues, although challenges such as secularization, individualism, and pressures from digital culture remain. The implications of this study underscore the importance of internalizing Christian ethical values within families, churches, educational institutions, and communities in order to build a more humane, just, and dignified society.

Abstract

This paper discusses the principles of Jesus’ teachings that are relevant for building effective and transformative learning within the context of contemporary education. Jesus is known as the Great Teacher who taught with authority, closeness, and methods capable of transforming the thinking, attitudes, and behavior of His listeners. Through biblical analysis and pedagogical examination, this study identifies several key principles, including the use of stories and parables to facilitate deep understanding, a dialogical approach that encourages active participation, contextualization of the message according to the listeners’ social background, modeling as a form of learning through example, and an emphasis on character transformation as the ultimate goal of education. The study concludes that the principles of Jesus’ teaching are not only effective in delivering content but also play a significant role in shaping the internal transformation of learners. By adapting these principles, modern educators can build learning processes that are more meaningful, holistic, and transformation-oriented.
