Abstract

Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti merupakan Kabupaten di Pesisir Timur dengan memiliki potensi yang besar untuk maju dari sektor pariwisata, salah satunya Tradisi Permainan Tradisional. Dengan adanya permainan tradisional membuat daerah tersebut lebih dikenal masyarakat sekitar baik dalam negeri maupun luar negeri, hanya saja di Kabupaten Meranti masih sangat kurang fasilitas penunjang sebagai wadah untuk melaksanakan kegiatan tersebut, dengan akses yang sangat jauh dan terpisah untuk menuju ke masing-masing permainan tersebut sulit bagi wisatawan dan para komunitas untuk ikut serta mendukung adanya permainan tradisional tersebut. Untuk mendukung kegiatan tersebut agar tetap terlaksana dan mudah dijangkau dibutuhkan Pusat Komunitas Permainan Tradisional Melayu sebagai wadah para Komunitas Permainan Tradisional di Meranti untuk melaksanakan berbagai kegiatan. Dalam perancangan Pusat Komunitas Permainan Tradisional Melayu dengan menggunakan tema rancangan dari Prinsip Desain Frank O Gehry sangat memikirkan hasil perancangan sesuai dengan fungsi yang dimana Frank O Gehry sendiri merupakan salah satu arsitek yang bersifat Postmodern dengan tidak melupakan budaya lokal. Pusat Komunitas Permainan Tradisional Melayu Di Meranti Dengan Prinsip Desain Frank O Gehry ini diharapkan dapat membantu para komunitas di Meranti untuk melaksanakan kegiatan yang dapat memicu majunya daerah tersebut.Kata Kunci: Komunitas; Permainan Tradisional; Frank O Gehry; Melayu; Meranti

Abstract

Penyediaan lingkungan belajar yang baik di sekolah dapat meningkatkan kesehatan dan produktivitas pelajar. SMAN 3 Padang merupakan salah satu institusi pendidikan yang masih kurang dalam memperhatikan lingkungan belajar, yang membutuhkan penyelesaian desain untuk memberikan solusi ke depan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan sustainable architecture mampu menghadirkan rancangan sustainable school dengan lingkungan belajar yang lebih baik dan berdampak positif pada lingkungan sekolah. Melalui analogi dari konsep “belajar seperti di bawah naungan pepohonan” dan ditransformasikan dengan pendekatan sustainable architecture. Redesain SMAN 3 Padang dapat memberikan lingkungan belajar yang berkelanjutan di sekolah untuk meningkatkan produktivitas siswa dan kemampuan siswa di masa depan, terutama prestasi sekolah.

Abstract

Oil palm trunk is one of the biomass that has not been utilized and becomes waste in the former oil palm replanting location. The application of palm oil processing technology for furniture raw materials can provide solutions to target audiences to be utilized and developed in the future. The aim of the community service activity is to assist the processing of oil palm stems for the production of furniture that has distinctive features and high selling value. The method of implementing the activity is theoretical assistance and direct practice to target audiences regarding palm oil processing technology for decorative furniture products. Achievement measurement tools consist of theoretical understanding and application suitability in the field. The results of these activities can be implemented by various prototypes of furniture products. The partner's knowledge of the wood processing business makes the transfer of science and technology for the use of oil palm trunks easier to implement. Socio-economically for the local community is very beneficial because it can change the perception of the existence of palm oil stems which have been considered as waste into a potential that can be utilized for an economically valuable product.

Abstract

Solid waste from oil palm trunks after replanting activities in oil palm plantations has the potential to be utilized. However, the community's perspective considers that oil palm trunks cannot be utilized because they are easy to mold and have low strength. The application of innovation and technology will be able to provide solutions to community empowerment and utilization of the potential of oil palm trunks. The purpose of the service activity is to provide assistance to innovation and technology on how to use palm oil trunk waste as raw material for furniture and building interior products in Pancurangading Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency. The results of service activities can be declared successful in providing community understanding, attitudes, and skills. The success rate of the program based on pre-test and post-test data was 37.5% (do not understand) and increased to 84.7% (understand). People's perceptions of oil palm trunks have been able to change so that they are able to understand, utilize and produce palm wood raw materials into various variants of furniture and building interiors. Utilization of oil palm trunks can provide business opportunities for the community in the future.

Abstract

Lack of electricity in the rural areas is quite limited to farmers in the lemongrass plantation in Siabu, Salo, Kampar. Their problem provides an idea to assemble solar panels for lighting supplies for lemongrass farmers. The method used for this activity is; field survey, assembly, calibration, and testing. In the test of the battery charging process has been carried out. Batteries charging are utilized 20 Ah and 60 Ah. The solar panels used are 2*50 Wp, Solar Charger Controller, battery, and inverter. The battery of 20 Ah load test results has an electricity of 30 Watt. The maximum battery voltage measured at 12.8 Volt with a load duration of 4 hours. The loading test is also carried out for a battery of 60 Ah has the same load that is a 30 Watt. In this test, the voltage is measured 12.8 Volt, a duration of electricity use for 11 hours.

Abstract

Fashion is a lifestyle that is in high demand by today's society. The development of fashion becomes important in various circles both young and old. The development of the world of fashion must be supported by quality human resources in the field of fashion. The designers have a problem in terms of introducing their designs to the public because of the lack of facilities and the provision of space or containers for fashion design enthusiasts in Pekanbaru, it will be designed a forum for fashion design enthusiasts to learn and promote the design results to the public. This building was designed using contemporary architectural themes that are applied into buildings. Abstract

Swimming training center is a place related with water sports activities such as competitions and training for athletes and beginner swimmers. The number of people who are interested in swimming is various from children to adults who can get a very positive effect because water sports will provide bodily health and also will be able to increase the number of swimming athletes for a competition in each area, but a complete swimming pool facilities are not yet available in Bintan. Designing a swimming training center that aims to increase the enthusiasm of learning and swimming training for the people in Bintan, both athletes and beginner swimmers. Swimming Training Center Facilities uses the Expressionist Architecture approach that aimed at people who see the building can recognize the function of the building. In the application of this design concept is the inequality that can be seen from four different swimming style techniques, namely breaststroke, freestyle, backstroke and butterfly style. The breaststroke technique is applied on the support buildings, while the freestyle and the backstroke are applied to the main building, and the butterfly style technique is applied to the roof of the main building. . The aim of this concept is to build the enthusiasm of athletes to be more motivated so they can also give more enthusiasm in any competition.Keywords: Swimming Training, Expressionist Architecture, Bintan

Abstract

The Islamic Sports Tourism Area is quoted from a hadith which reads from Amir al-mu'minin, Umar Al-Faruq Ibn Al-Khattab, Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihi Wasallam said: "Teach your children to ride, swim and archery". (HR. Shahih Bukhari / Muslim). From the hadith, 3 sports can be taken clearly from the Prophet Muhammad SAW, namely horse riding, swimming and archery. These three sports will be the main function in the Islamic sports tourism area. The design method used is a field survey and documentation as well as analyzing data. The results of the design take the formation of nature in general, namely leaves. The shape of nature is in line with the theme of this design, which is biomimetic architecture. In addition to the three main functions there are also supporting functions in the form of airsoft gun, all terrain vehicles, mosques, food courts, clinics, and retail. The Islamic sports tourism area aims to accommodate community activities and is the center of activities of Islamic Sports in Pekanbaru.).

Abstract

Kampung Empat Balai is one of the old villages in Kuok District, Kampar Regency. The kampung comprises traditional Malay houses as cultural heritages that urge to preserve. The house has a unique roof shape and carvings pattern. However, the house is endangering due to a lack of maintenance. This research has aimed to identify the construction of houses that belong to the Bawi ethnic group people. A qualitative descriptive approach has been carried out to investigate and analyse this Malay house. This research found that the Bawi's house has a curving roof type which is known as part of the Lotiok roof type. This stilt house has a structural system in the form of a series of line elements with non-rigid joints that bind each other using notches and pegs as a connection system that is anticipated for earthquakes. Materially, this Bawi'House uses wooden-based materials throughout its construction systems, such as floors, walls, columns, girder beams and roof trusses.Malay house; traditional construction; lontiok roof; wooden-based materials

Abstract

Insit Fishermen Area is a fisherman settlement area that is less organized and has no tourist attraction. Whereas Insit Fishermen Area is an entrance gate to Meranti island through Ro-Roport. Therefore, it is necessary to arrange the area of fishermen by adding more facilities and infrastructure, not only to support the activities of fishermen but also for tourist attraction. This arrangement also looks for the feasibility standard of facilities, infrastructure, and the dominantaspects of waterfront architecture and its elements. The design method used is the results of the survey, documentation, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data. The results of thisarrangement applying the concept of “Insit With The Flow”. The arrangement of the area follows the flow of the Insit tributary, which is the result of the applying elements of the concept and waterfront architecture theme. This arrangement utilizes the river as a circulation in and out of fishing boats, and on the riverside, there is a Promenade/Esplanade, seats, and parks.
