Abstract

This research positions tourism as a key driver for rural economic transformation via the Community-Based Ecotourism model. Lubuk Langkap Nature Tourism Village, South Bengkulu, has excellent natural assets (pristine), such as clear rivers and tropical forests, supported by good social capital. However, this potential is structurally constrained by a Severe Institutional Crisis within the Village-Owned Enterprise, marked by informal management, lack of standard accounting, and vulnerability to moral hazard risk (misconduct). The Main Thesis asserts that this institutional crisis is not merely a technical issue but a major root problem that weakens Social Capital, damages community Capability, and risks permanent environmental damage. The study uses in-depth strategic analysis focusing on the New Institutional Economics and an integrated SWOT framework, employing interpretive descriptive qualitative methods. The analysis formulates an integrated Community-Based Ecotourism development strategy within a Governance framework that is Strengthened by Risk a system designed to become more resilient when facing shocks (moral hazard risk). The Integrated Action Strategy includes: (1) Establishing Exclusive Village-Owned Enterprise Regulatory Control Rights over the entrance gate and Environmental Carrying Capacity; (2) Implementing a physical Daily Public Financial Dashboard to prevent misconduct; and (3) Legalizing Village Regulations (Perdes) on Conservation Zoning and Maximum Daily Visitor Limits. Implementing a Niche Premium Operational Business Plan (OBP), detailing a High Pricing Strategy (including a Conservation Fee) and a fair Proportional Revenue Sharing Formula, is key to achieving improved welfare and ecological sustainability in South Bengkulu.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between constructivist theory and the application of thariqah mubasyarah in beginner-level mufrodat learning, emphasizing its urgency in fostering meaningful vocabulary acquisition. Despite the centrality of Arabic in pesantren education, traditional rote memorization methods dominate, resulting in passive learning that limits students’ ability to internalize and apply vocabulary effectively. Constructivist approaches highlight active engagement, social interaction, and contextualized learning as key mechanisms for constructing knowledge. This research employed a qualitative descriptive design to explore how constructivist principles underpin the implementation of thariqah mubasyarah in beginner-level mufrodat lessons. The findings reveal three major outcomes: first, students’ activeness increased through direct interaction with objects, verbal participation, and sensory engagement, transforming rote memorization into meaningful learning. Second, social interaction and collaboration in pairs or groups facilitated peer scaffolding, enhancing vocabulary retention, communicative confidence, and cooperative learning. Third, independence and creativity emerged as students designed dialogues, performed role-plays, and applied vocabulary in authentic contexts, reflecting self-directed construction of knowledge. The study contributes to Arabic language education by providing empirical evidence that thariqah mubasyarah grounded in constructivist theory promotes active, collaborative, and creative learning. It is recommended that educators integrate constructivist principles in curriculum design to enhance vocabulary mastery, critical thinking, and communicative competence.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the capacity of residents in Semanan Urban Village to implement Al-based urban farming as a strategy to strengthen food security, digital literacy, and community empowerment. The activities were carried out through stages of socialization, training, technology implementation, mentoring, and evaluation, grounded in development communication and participatory communication approaches. The results indicate that integrating urban farming with Al technologies- such as soil sensors, plant monitoring applications, and automated irrigation systems— successfully improved the community's knowledge and technical skills in managing urban agriculture. Training sessions utilizing instructional communication and hands-on learning effectively increased digital literacy and accelerated the adoption of technological innovations. Continuous mentoring and the establishment of an urban farming community strengthened program sustainability through information exchange, collaboration, and enhanced community ownership of the innovation. Additionally, the production of a short documentary served as an effective audio-visual medium to broaden information dissemination and highlight the role of visual communication in community empowerment. Overall, the program not only improved urban farming productivity but also strengthened communication capacity, social inclusion, and technological independence at the community level. The integration of Al into urban farming proved to be an effective, adaptive, and replicable innovation for other urban areas.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the combined influence of student discipline and learning facilities on teachers’ motivation in public elementary schools in Sako District, Palembang, Indonesia. Employing a descriptive quantitative method, the research was conducted across 10 schools over six months (June-November 2025). The population comprised 225 teachers (civil servants, contract, and honorary staff), with a sample of 69 respondents determined through appropriate calculations. Data collection utilized questionnaires, observations, and documentation, while analysis involved normality, linearity, and multicollinearity tests, alongside simple and multiple correlation analysis, regression analysis, t-tests, and F-tests. The findings reveal a significant combined influence of student discipline and learning facilities on teacher motivation. Notably, the magnitude of this combined influence contributes 99.2% to teachers’ motivation, indicating an exceptionally strong predictive relationship. The novelty of this study lies in its quantitative demonstration of the near-total combined effect of these two specific school environment factors on teacher motivation within the Indonesian elementary school context, moving beyond isolated examinations of each variable. Practically, these findings underscore for school administrators and policymakers the critical importance of simultaneously fostering student discipline and improving learning facilities as dual strategies to enhance teacher motivation. This study contributes to educational management literature by providing robust empirical evidence on the synergistic impact of student behavior and physical resources on teacher morale, highlighting their interdependence in shaping a motivating work environment.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has significantly transformed the landscape of education, demanding a fundamental shift in the roles of educators, particularly in teacher education programs. This study aims to analyze the transformation of lecturers’ roles in PGSD/PGMI in preparing prospective teachers who are adaptive to technological disruption. The research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study design to explore in depth the practices, challenges, and strategies implemented by lecturers in integrating technology into the learning process. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using an interactive model involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that lecturers have undergone a significant role transformation from knowledge transmitters to facilitators, learning designers, and innovators. This transformation is reflected in the implementation of student-centered learning approaches, integration of digital technologies, and the emphasis on developing digital literacy and 21st-century skills among pre-service teachers. However, the study also identifies several challenges, including disparities in digital competence, limited technological infrastructure, and resistance to pedagogical change. The study concludes that the transformation of lecturers’ roles is essential in producing adaptive, innovative, and technologically competent teachers. Therefore, continuous professional development, institutional support, and strategic policy implementation are required to optimize the quality of teacher education in the era of technological disruption.
