Abstract

This study is motivated by the suboptimal implementation of vocational learning for students with special needs at SLB Negeri Tamansari in supporting students’ independence and work readiness. The study aims to analyze the implementation of vocational learning based on educational management functions, including planning, organizing, implementation, and supervision. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques consisting of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, supported by triangulation to ensure data validity. The findings reveal that vocational program planning is based on students’ needs assessment and adaptive curriculum, but lacks competency testing standards and adequate facilities. Organizational aspects involve collaboration among schools, teachers, parents, and industry partners, although not yet optimal. The implementation is conducted through demonstrations, hands-on practice, and work habituation, yet faces challenges such as varying student abilities and limited resources. Supervision is carried out through evaluation of learning processes and outcomes, but lacks a comprehensive monitoring system. The study implies the need to strengthen vocational program management through improving teacher competence, developing infrastructure, establishing competency-based evaluation standards, and expanding partnerships to enhance the independence and work readiness of students with special needs.

Abstract

Inclusive education policies in Jakarta have been regulated, but their implementation in the field still faces challenges. Problems in implementing inclusive education in schools include limited understanding among educators, a lack of accessible facilities, and a lack of special assistant teachers. This study aims to analyze the implementation of inclusive education for students with special needs at public elementary schools in West Jakarta. The UNS Inclusion Metric was used as a reference in analyzing the implementation of inclusive education for students with special needs in schools. This study was conducted in three schools, namely SDN Kapuk 15 Pagi, SDN Kapuk 01 Pagi, and SDN Kapuk 12 Petang, using a mixed method approach through the distribution of attitude assessment instruments as well as observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the attitudes of school members towards inclusive education were in the fairly good category, with an average score of 29.75 out of 36, which indicates a positive attitude towards students with special needs. However, the implementation of inclusive education has not been optimal. The LED results revealed limitations in institutional aspects, a lack of GPK, the unavailability of SOPs for inclusive learning, a lack of psychological services, and the unavailability of accessible facilities. Overall, the school has an attitude that supports inclusion, but it is necessary to strengthen teacher competencies, provide support services, and improve policies and infrastructure so that inclusive education can be implemented effectively and sustainably.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh anak tunadaksa yang mengalami hambatan pada bentuk kelainan atau kecacatan pada sistem otot, tulang dan persendian. Permasalahan yang dialami anak tunadaksa kelas III SDKh ini, selain itu juga mempengaruhi pada tingkat perkembangan kognitifnya, sehingga pada dampak perkembangan kognitif anak tunadaksa ini memiliki keterlambatan atau kesulitan, terutama dalam proses pembelajaran matematika dalam mengenal angka 1-10. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas permainan bowling modifikasi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal angka 1-10. Pada permainan bowling modifikasi adalah perlakuan yang diberikan kepada subjek untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal angka 1-10. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan pendekatan Single Subject Research (SSR) yang menggunakan desain A-B-A. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan tes melalui instrumen yang telah diuji validitas isi berupa expert judgement dan uji realibilitas konsistensi internal dengan teknik alpha cronbach. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif ditampilkan melalui grafik garis. Hasil penelitian dapat menunjukkan adanya efektivitas permainan bowling modifikasi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal angka 1-10 yang dibuktikan pada target behavior yang dilakukan sebanyak 3 sesi. Baseline (A-1) memperoleh persentase 0% sampai 40%, fase intervensi yang diberikan perlakuan mendapatkan persentase 53% sampai 80% dan fase baseline (A-2) mendapatkan persentase 60% sampai 83% dan fase baseline (A-2) mendapatkan persentase 0% sampai 56%. Berdasarkan penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa permainan bowling modifikasi efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal angka 1-10.

Abstract

Penerimaan sosial merupakan pengakuan serta penghargaan terhadap individu, baik oleh individu lain maupun kelompok sosial, serta sebagai perhatian positif dari orang lain dalam suatu hubungan yang dekat sehingga individu merasa aman, nyaman serta dihargai keberadaanya. Guru kelas yang mampu menerima dan menghargai keberadaan peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus akan menciptakan suasana belajar yang inklusif, meningkatkan partisipasi aktif siswa, dan mendukung pencapaian hasil belajar yang optimal. Tujuan dari penerlitian ini adalah mengetahui bagaimana penerimaan sosial guru kelas terhadap peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa penerimaan sosial guru kelas terhadap peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus SD Islam Al Azhar 10 penerimaan sosial guru kelas teradap peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus dapat dikatakan sudah baik. Aspek penerimaaan sosial oleh Parker dan Asher yang mencakup 5 aspek, yaitu kepedulian, perselisihan, kebersaman, bantuan, dan kedekatan. Secara umum, kelima aspek tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penerimaan sosial guru kelas terhadap peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus di SD Islam A l Azhar 10 kota Serang telah diterapkan oleh guru kelas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa anak tunagrahita ringan belum mampu membaca huruf konsonan. Salah satu penyebabnya ialah kurang optimalnya pembelajaran pada media interaktif yang dilakukan oleh guru. Media wordwall adalah platform pembelajaran interaktif berbasis web yang digunakan untuk membuat berbagai permainan edukatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media wordwall dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan pada peserta didik tunagrahita ringan kelas V di SKh Negeri 01 Pandeglang. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen menggunakan desain Single Subject Research (SSR) tipe A-B-A. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa tunagrahita ringan kelas V di SKh Negeri 01 Pandeglang. Target behavior dalam penelitian ini yaitu kemampuan menunjukkan huruf, menyebut kan huruf, dan menuliskan huruf konsonan (b,c,d,f,g,h,j,k,l,m) dalam aspek membaca permulaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada kemampuan menunjukkan huruf konsonan mendapatkan rata-rata persentase atau mean level dari fase baseline A1, intervensi (B), dan baseline A2 yaitu 40%,92,2%, dan 75%. Pada hasil penelitian kemampuan menunjukkan huruf konsonan dari fase baseline A1, intervensi (B), baseline A2 yaitu 40%,89,7%,dan 65%. Kemudian hasil penelitian kemampuan menuliskan huruf konsonan dari fase baseline A1, intervensi (B), baseline A2 yaitu 30%,93,5%, dan 65%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan penggunaan media wordwall memberikan pengaruh pada kemampuan membaca permulaan pada siswa tunagrahita ringan kelas V di SKh Negeri 01 Pandeglang.

Abstract

Reading ability is a fundamental skill that plays an important role ini daily life, including for inmates in correctional institutions. This stufy aims to identify the basic reading abilities of inmates with learning difficulties at a Class III Correctional Institution in Rangkasbitung. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through direct observation an simple communication. The research subjects consisted of three inmates with reading difficulties and one inmate with a hearing impairment. The result showed that the reading abilities of inmates varied, ranging from those who had not yet recognized letters to those who were able to read simple words but not complete sentences. The reading difficulties were associated with limitations in basic cognitive skills, working memory, and language processing. In addition, communication barriers experienced by the inmate with a hearing impairment affected the reading learning process. Based on these initial findings, inmates’ reading abilities need to be further identified through more structured assesments. Therefore, it is necessary to develop appropriate learning programs tailored to individual needs within the context of special education.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The "Impact Internship" program aims to create inclusive spaces in correctional institutions. This study describes the implementation of a Mobility Orientation seminar for inmates under supervision at Rangkasbitung Class III Correctional Institution. The main problem identified was inmates' low understanding of the function of the guide block facilities available in the prison. The method used was a qualitative descriptive approach through lecture-based educational activities and direct instruction. This approach was chosen because it has proven effective in improving conceptual understanding and practical skills in mobility orientation learning. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of the nature of blindness and their ability to practice the use of guide blocks in simple ways. This activity successfully fostered empathy and understanding of inclusion as an effort to social reintegrate inmates.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of using quiet book learning media on the understanding of sexual education among children with intellectual disabilities at Kak Seto Homeschooling. The subject was one student with intellectual disabilities in Grade IV of an inclusive elementary school at Kak Seto Homeschooling, South Tangerang, identified by initial H (age 10). The study employed Single Subject Research (SSR) method with an A-B-A design. Data were collected through a validated sexual education comprehension test. The results showed an increase in mean levels from baseline-1 (A1) at 33%, intervention phase (B) at 88.5%, and baseline-2 (A2) at 70%. The overlap percentage from A1 to B and B to A2 was 0%, indicating that the intervention had a significant effect. Therefore, the use of quiet book learning media has been proven to positively affect the sexual education understanding of children with intellectual disabilities.
