Abstract

Stock trading is a popular financial instrument worldwide. In Indonesia, the stock market is known as the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), and one actively traded stock is PT Bank Central Asia (BBCA). However, predicting stock price movements is challenging due to various influencing factors. Investors use fundamental and technical analyses for decision-making, but results often vary. Machine learning, particularly random forest regression and linear regression algorithms, can be used for stock price forecasting. In this paper, we compares these two machine learning methods to forecast BBCA stock prices, aiming to provide more accurate and effective solutions for investor's investment and trading decisions. The evaluation results of cross-validation mean squared error (MSE), root mean squared error (RMSE), mean absolute error (MAE), and mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) for linear regression were 0.12848, 0.35807, 0.29570, and 0.0036%, respectively, while for random forest regression were 27473.76, 158.04, 142.70, and 1.7153%. These findings indicate that linear regression outperforms in forecasting performance.

Abstract

Cabbage waste fermented liquid (Brassica oleracea) is a type of fermented liquid that contains lots of vitamins and other important nutrients that are beneficial for broilers. This study aims to determine the effect of adding fermented cabbage waste to the percentage of weight and length of the digestive organs of broilers including the weight of the proventriculus and ventriculus. This research was carried out from March to May 2021 at the Laboratory of UIN Agriculture Research and Development Station (UARDS) Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, Sultan Syarif Kasim State Islamic University, Riau. The research material used 80 DOC broilers (CP 707). The research method was an experiment using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments consisted of P0 (control drinking water), P1 (2 ml of fermented cabbage waste/liter of drinking water), P2 (3 ml of fermented cabbage waste/liter of drinking water), and P3 (4 ml of fermented cabbage waste/liter of water). drinking water). The parameters measured were the percentage of weight of the proventriculus and ventriculus. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the administration of fermented cabbage waste in drinking water to broilers did not have a significant effect (P>0.05) on the percentage of weight and length of the digestive organs of broilers. The conclusion of this study is that the administration of fermented cabbage waste liquid to a level of 4 ml/liter of drinking water in broilers has not been able to increase the weight and length of the digestive organs of broilers

Abstract

This research aims to determine the physical quality, texture and pH of vegetable waste fermented with EM4 liquid at different levels. The method used in this research was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 4 replications, namely P0: Vegetable waste + 0% EM4, P1: Vegetable waste + 5% EM4, P2: Vegetable waste + 7% EM4, P3: Vegetable waste + 10% EM4. The variables measured include color, pH, aroma, and texture. The results of this research showed that the addition of EM4 liquid as a starter had a very significant difference (P<0.01) on the physical quality of color, aroma, texture, but had no effect (P>0.05) on the pH of the silage. The treatment that provides the best physical quality is the addition of P3: Vegetable waste + 10% EM4 assessed by color with an average value of 4.54 (yellowish green), pH with an average value of 5.53 (acid), average value of aroma 3.61 (typical acid). silage), as well as an average texture value of 2.64 (slightly soft).
