Abstract

SDN 168 Pekanbaru merupakan sekolah dasar negri yang terletak di Gg. Lestari, Labuh Baru Bar., Kec. Payung Sekaki, Kota Pekanbaru, Riau, mengahadapi masalah dalam penyampaian informasi kepada siswa dan orang tua, sebagai institusi pendidikan memerlukan media informasi yang efektif untuk mendukung komunikasi antara sekolah, siswa, dan orang tua. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk merancang dan mengembangkan website baru yang memberikan informasi komprehensif mengenai sekolah yang mudah diakses. Kegiatan ini melibatkan penulis yang bertindak sebagai pengmbang website dengan metode perancangan web, melibatkan 4 jenis user yakni Kepala Sekolah, Guru Kelas, Adminisrator TU Sekolah dan Administrator Website. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah sebuah website yang mencakup Profil Sekolah, Fasilitas, VisiMisi, Tenaga Pendidik, Galeri dan Berita, yang terbukti meningkatkan pengalaman pengguna dan memudahkan akses informasi bagi seluruh komunitas sekolah. Kesimpulannya, pengembangan website ini berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi komunikasi dan operasional sekolah serta memberikan manfaat yang signifikan bagi seluruh komunitas SDN 168 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

All electric power cannot be distributed well to consumers caused of Power-Losses caused by technical and untechnical losses. Power-Losses caused by technical issue in Distribution-Network caused-by resistance substance in conductor which is permanent. An ideal conductor must not has resistance, but in reality, every matter has resistance towards electric. Main possibility of Power-Losses in Distribution-Network is natural situation of network itself, such-as length of network always tends to increase. Aim of research is to calculate Power-Losses that absorbed by conductor in Primary-Distribution-Line-20kV with Point-to-Point Sequential Method while it loaded. The highest Power-Losses occurred in conductor OL–Melati Street with RST-Phases are 4766,441Watt, 4335,654Watt, 4003,747Watt, respectively. The biggest Power-Losses is on conductor of OL–Melati Sreet, whereas current and resistance are bigger than others. Total Power-Losses absorbed-by conductor is 72135.99Watt that the smallest losses, obtained from measuring of used real load on each Distribution-Transformer. Percentage of Power-Losses towards used power on Lobak-Feeder 1.3177%.

Abstract

Contact with O2 and at the same time ability to absorbent of nutrient will be very determining of productivity level of bakterioselulosa. On that account, for the scale up production, there are some done efforts, like Rotary Disc Reactor (RDR), as developed by Norhayati [1]. The RDR is unable to rotate less than 7 rpm (equivalent 10 second to every rotation). At this research, weakness of the rotary disk bioreaktor was overcome by developing Controlled Dip Reactor (CDR). Excess of proposed appliance is user can arrange the the duration submerged phase in growth liquid medium and exposed to the air phase as according to experiment design, so that more effective and be free to to gain time optimum to each the phase utilize to get maximal production of bakterioselulosa. At the testing, designed appliance can lift place grow medium of bakterioselulosa toward as high as 15 cm meaning exposed to the air,and degrade place grow of bakterioselulosa medium downwards until 1 cm measured from medium place base, which mean bakterioselulosa submerged liquid of the growth medium and the time exposed to the air and exposed to the liquid can be controlled to vary from 1 until 20 minute.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat telah mendorong perusahaan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi bisnis mereka melalui penerapan sistem komputerisasi. PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV (PTPN IV) Regional III PalmCo, sebagai Badan Usaha Milik Negara yang bergerak di bidang perkebunan, telah menjalin kerja sama dengan beberapa universitas di Riau untuk memfasilitasi kegiatan Kerja Praktik dan penelitian bagi mahasiswa. Namun, PTPN IV saat ini belum memiliki sistem yang dapat memantau kehadiran mahasiswa selama Kerja Praktik, yang merupakan faktor penting dalam penilaian kinerja mereka. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, diusulkan pengembangan sistem absensi berbasis web yang memungkinkan pemantauan kehadiran mahasiswa secara lebih efektif. Sistem ini dirancang menggunakan metode spiral dan dibangun dengan teknologi HTML, PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, CSS, dan Bootstrap, serta didesain menggunakan Figma. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian dengan metode usability testing diperoleh nilai sebesar 84,5%, yang termasuk dalam kategori "Sangat Puas". Sistem ini berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi dalam pemantauan kehadiran mahasiswa Kerja Praktik di PTPN IV.

Abstract

Efforts and strategies have been done both by the providers of electrical energy and the government to handle the increase in electricity demand.  However, there has been no satisfactory result. The government has set a major policy on energy management, namely conservation and energy diversification in order to reduce dependence on non-renewable energy sources and utilize renewable energy available in areas where power plants will be built to meet the growing demand for electricity. Riau Province in addition to located in tropical climates and many of its areas are on the coast that its existence is very far for affordable network of PLN electricity, therefore the provision of solar power plant is one appropriate alternative, to meet the needs of electrical energy for the needs of the population. While the output voltage generated by solar cells is not constant, but it depends on the natural conditions that at any time vary the intensity of sunlight, so that the output voltage of the solar cell is also not constant and varies throughout the daytime. In general, commercial equipment has specification limits for ± 10% voltage variation. Disturbances such as voltage varization, if not handled seriously can cause damage to consumer electrical equipment, in addition to the use of electrical energy, in the form of varying output voltage resulting in expensive cost. To overcome the problem of voltage variations produced solar cell can be used prototype dc to dc converter using boost converter technology, which  automatically  adjust  the  output  voltage  according  to  the  desired  voltage.Designing  DC  to  DC Converters To Stabilize Solar Cell Outputs Using Boost Converter Technology has been tested for performance through the output voltage of a 100 WP solar cell panel whose values vary from 13.5 volts to 20.8 volts as a boost converter input and produce a regulated output voltage 24 volt. Based on the results of prototype testi ng dc to dc converter using booast converter technology that has been designed to produce a voltage regulated voltage of 24 volts direct current declared valid. The valid intent here because the output voltage is still dirange 24 volts ± 10%.

Abstract

Early warning system is one of the technology to detect land fires by utilizing wireless sensor network. Continuously delivery of data by the sensor node causes a large energy consumption on the side of the node that can reduce battery life. This study was conducted to determine the battery durability in a long time during a fire and when there is no fire on peatland. The design of a portable power supply management system in the early warning system nodes is now used as a solution to get more energy efficiently and easy to operate. Power consumption savings on peatland fire detection systems using LM35 temperature sensor, Atmega8 microcontroller and HC-12 transmitter module. The results show that the best sleep mode feature on ATmega8 is in powerdown mode with a current of 0.287 mA. The range of distance that can be received by the transmitter module is 87 meters far without any obstacles. By using the time interval sleep / wake up scheduling at the time of data transmission able to minimize the large energy consumption and make long the active life of power supply with life time for 318 days..Keywords: ATmega8, Early Waring System, Power Supply, Sleep-wake up Scheduling.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada mayarakat ini dilaksanakan di Desa Bunsur Kecamatan Sungai Apit Kabupaten Siak Propinsi Riau dengan khalayak sasarannya masyarakat nelayan desa tersebut. Sektor pertanian dan nelayan merupakan profesi yang sangat dominan sebagai sumber kehidupan di desa ini. Berdasarkan informasi kepala desa, desa ini terkenal sebagai penghasil ikan Bilis Asam. Berdasarkan hasil survei harga jual ikan ini di Pasar Panam Kota Pekanbaru berkisar Rp. 125 ribu per kg. Harga ini menunjukkan nilai keekonomian yang tinggi dan sangat menjanjikan bagi kehidupan masyarakat nelayan di Desa Bunsur ini. Dari informasi para nelayan, pada musim hujan semua hasil tangkapan ikan ini tidak dapat dijual bahkan dibuang begitu saja karena membusuk akhibat tidak bisa dikeringkan karena tidak ada cahaya matahari. Keadaan ini dapat diatasi dengan membuat sebuah tempat pengeringan khusus dengan teknik rekayasa cahaya lampu dalam sebuah ruangan yang dirancang sedemikian rupa. Ruangan ini akan dapat menyelamatkan gagal produksi ikan Bilis Asam masyarakat nelayan di Desa Bunsur dengan demikian kehidupan mayarakat nelayan dapat lebih stabil di setiap musim, baik musim hujan maupun musim panas. Pengeringan ikan yang akan dirancang adalah tipe pengeringan mekanis dengan rekayasa cahaya lampu. Pengeringan ikan ini akan dibuat transparan yang dikelilingi akrilik bening dan tembus cahaya. Penjemuran tembus cahaya ini bertujuan agar di musim panas masyarakat juga tetap menggunakan penjemuran ini.  Penjemuran ini akan dipasang sensor sehingga pada saat hujan atau panas pengeringan tetap berfungsi dengan baik dan otomatis. Sistem ini dirancang agar nelayan tidak perlu kuatir ikannya terkena hujan atau tidak kena panas karena sudah beroperasi secara otomatis

Abstract

One healthy problem related to somebody’s physic that can not grow-up well is Stunting. Stunting is someone’s condition whereas less level of nutrient occurs in long time. Therefore, it causes nutrient problem cronically. Stunting be marked with growth of height of children which are not suitable with standar of their ages. One way to prevent stunting on toddler early is by increasing knowledge of a mother/pregnant-woman about nutrient, through nutrient education. Aim of this service is to educate craders of healthy facility, Posyandu, in Tirta Siak Village about nutrient requirement for pregnant-woman and Toddler to prevent stunting earlier in communities around Posyandu. Methodology of this service is performing training for Posyandu’s craders to give right understanding about standardization of nutrient need for pregnant-woman and toddler and to prevent stunting earlier, even since that baby in the womb. This training gets full support from PPKBD’s chairwoman, leader for all posyandus in Tirta Siak Village. Participants are enthusiastic to follow training. Hopefully, Posyandu’s craders can implement obtained knowledge about nutrient requirements for pregnant-woman and toddler to society.

Abstract

Nowadays, a gas stove is a basic need in every household because it is Government’s Program to convert conventional stove to be gas stove. LPG Gas and its holder are inseparably parts when using gas stove. Even using stove gas has been a compulsion for society for the last many years, however, spark, explosion and fire still happens that are caused by using a gas stove/holder. These circumstances create worry for its users. Therefore, students from the University of Riau under Community Service Program perform training to help the community not be afraid/worry when using stove gas in Sukadamai Village from Bangsal Aceh County in Dumai City – Riau Province. Aim of this service is to educate people in using LPG gas stove or holder and the way to handle the leakage of its LPG gas holder in the right way to overcome any danger if it happens in Sukadamai Village from Bangsal Aceh County. The results of this training show that communities are braver to use gas stoves because at this time they understand how to use the gas stove in the right way and how to handle any danger that could happen. By this training, hopefully people in Sukadamai Village from Bangsal Aceh County are not afraid/worried anymore when using LPG gas stove/holder.

Abstract

Stunting is a public health problem that must be taken seriously. Toddlers who experience stunting have a lower level of intelligence, making children more susceptible to disease and in the future may be at risk of decreasing productivity levels. At the end, stunting broadly can inhibit economic growth, increase poverty and widen inequality. Sustainable education is considered to be one way to reduce stunting rates. This service has the aim of increasing public knowledge including adolescents, pregnant women, and Posyandu cadres. Therefore, all of them can recognize stunting, have knowledge to prevent and manage stunting. The material of training is given to 20 participants in 60 minutes. The knowledge level of participants is measured before and after this activity through Pretest and Posttest. The results of the pretest shows that 4 participants have good knowledge, 12 participants had moderate knowledge, and 4 participants had poor knowledge. The level of knowledge increased after the presentation of the material, also through the question and answer session, namely 15 participants had good knowledge, and 5 participants had moderate knowledge. This activity succeeded in increasing public knowledge.
