Abstract

This study aims to explore and analyze pedagogical innovation practices and learning models at MTs Darul Musthofa, Probolinggo, within the context of contemporary Islamic education. The research focuses on the integration of digital technology, teacher collaboration, and the internalization of pesantren values in the learning process. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the madrasah successfully developed an innovative learning ecosystem that combines digital media with pesantren traditions, such as the use of Google Classroom, digital lesson plans, student blogs, and interactive Islamic content. These practices enhance students’ digital literacy while maintaining the religious character that underpins the institution. The implications suggest that Islamic educational institutions, even in rural areas, can adopt transformative learning models based on technology and local values synergistically. This research is expected to serve as a reference for the development of policies and Islamic education models that are adaptive to contemporary challenges.

Abstract

The rapid utilization of the internet as a 21st-century learning resource makes digital literacy an essential competency that students need to possess, in addition to critical thinking skills. Therefore, it is necessary to develop technology-based learning media to support the improvement of both skills. This study aims to develop Google Sites-based learning media to enhance students' digital literacy abilities and learning outcomes. This research is a development study (R&D) referring to the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of this study were teachers and 11th-grade students of the Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) program at SMKN 1 Kwanyar. The developed learning media demonstrated results categorized as highly feasible, practical, and effective for use in the learning process of the Network System Administration subject. The effectiveness assessment results showed that student learning activity was classified as very active, and there was a significant improvement in critical thinking skills, indicated by an average N-Gain score of 0.75, which falls into the moderately effective category. Validation from experts showed that this learning media obtained a score of 90% from media expert validators, 93% from material expert validators, and 95% from educator assessments, all of which were in the "Very Valid" category. Trials at various scales also supported the feasibility of the media, with results of 90% in individual trials, 92% in small group trials, and 94% in large group trials—all falling into the "highly feasible" category. The literacy improvement results obtained a percentage of 95% in the "Very High" category. Thus, the Google Sites-based learning media is declared suitable for use in improving literacy and learning outcomes in the Network System Administration subject.

Abstract

Zakat is a strategic instrument in Islam that carries both devotional and socio-economic dimensions. However, in many regions, including Keboangung Village, Kraksaan District, Probolinggo Regency, zakat management still tends to be consumptive and lacks a long-term empowerment orientation. The distribution of zakat as mere direct aid fails to sustainably transform the condition of the mustahiq (zakat recipients). This program aims to optimize zakat management through a productive approach based on maqashid sharia as both a philosophical foundation and an operational framework for empowering the local economy. The maqashid sharia approach encompasses the protection of religion (din), life (nafs), intellect (‘aql), lineage (nasl), and wealth (mal). The implementation methods include socialization and education on the values of maqashid sharia for zakat managers and the local community, skill development and business management training for mustahiq, as well as intensive mentoring in the establishment and growth of business units funded by zakat. The results of this community service activity show positive outcomes in optimizing productive zakat based on maqashid sharia for economic empowerment. Through education and socialization efforts targeting key stakeholders, there has been an increase in understanding regarding the importance of transforming zakat management from a consumptive to a productive approach grounded in the five core objectives of maqashid sharia: the protection of religion, life, intellect, lineage, and wealth

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali lebih dalam mengenai strategi-strategi Public Relations (PR) yang efektif dalam membangun dan mempertahankan citra positif Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Jadid di mata publik. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan desain studi kasus, penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi PR yang diterapkan oleh Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Jadid melibatkan digitalisasi, jejaring alumni, dan kegiatan komunitas. Digitalisasi meningkatkan interaksi dan memperkuat hubungan dengan audiens, sementara jejaring alumni mendukung reputasi dan penghematan sumber daya. Kegiatan komunitas penting untuk membangun kedekatan emosional dengan masyarakat sekitar. Meskipun tantangan dalam hal konsistensi, sumber daya yang memadai, dan inovasi tetap ada, kombinasi strategi digital dan fisik, serta dokumentasi yang transparan, memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap citra madrasah. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar madrasah terus menyeimbangkan pendekatan digital dengan kegiatan fisik agar tetap relevan dan meningkatkan kepercayaan publik.

Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to foster the habitualization of Furudhul Ainiyah (FA) in early childhood through the application of the demonstration method at Madrasah Diniyah Raudlatul Muta'allimin, Probolinggo. Furudhul Ainiyah refers to the obligation of individuals to carry out mandatory worship such as prayer, fasting, reading the Qur'an and ablution, which requires habituation from an early age so that it becomes an integral part of a child's life. The demonstration method was chosen to provide practical understanding and actively involve children in the learning process. This activity began with the identification of needs, training for teachers, and the implementation of demonstration methods in fostering Furudhul Ainiyah. The results show that this method is effective in improving children's understanding and skills in carrying out compulsory worship independently. However, several obstacles were found, such as a lack of consistency in implementation at home and limited supporting facilities in madrasas. The proposed solutions include collaboration with parents in habituating worship at home and the provision of interactive learning media. The conclusion of this activity is that the demonstration method has a positive impact on forming worship habits in early childhood. This PKM is expected to be a model for other educational institutions that are committed to children's spiritual development.

Abstract

Acaraki merupakan penyebutan bagi orang yang ahli dalam meracik jamu, di jakarta terdapat cafe yang khusus meracik jamu dengan metode modern, proses pembuatannya seperti pembuatan minuman kopi dan teh, sehingga nilai jamu tidak hanya dikenal sebagai minuman obat yang bisa diminum pada saat tertentu saja namun bisa digolongkan sebagai minuman mixologi. Penelitian dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat terhadap minuman Jamu serta cara meningkatkan pola konsumsi masyarakat Lombok terhadap minuman Jamu Tradisional. Metode yang digunakan adalah Mixed Method untuk menganalisis persepsi masyarakat terhadap minuman Jamu tradisional yang ada di Lombok, serta cara meningkatkan pola konsumsi masyarakat terhadap minuman Jamu tradisional. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi langsung dengan menggunakan instrument dokumen, pedoman wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi literatur. Kesimpulan secara keseluruhan, bahwa persepsi masyarakat terhadap jamu tradisional yang diukur melalui Sikap (X1), Motif (X2), Minat (X3), Pengalaman (X4) dan Harapan (X5). Tidak adanya pengaruh yang signifikan variable Sikap (X1), Motif (X2), Minat (X3), dan Harapan (X5). Terdapat pengaruh variable Pengalaman (X4) terhadap minuman jamu tradisional. Pengalaman pada penelitian ini memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap konsumsi jamu tradisional. Adanya dampak bagi kebugaran tubuh dengan mengkonsumsi minuman tradisional, minuman jamu tradisional sudah menjadi kebiasaan bagi masyarakat untuk dikonsumsi serta memiliki khasiat dari mengkonsumsi jamu. Abstract

The Community Service Program (PKM) in Sade Hamlet, Rembitan Village, NTB, was implemented to mitigate the negative impact of the "Scamming Village" phenomenon that went viral on social media. This issue has tarnished both local and national tourism images, while also undermining the confidence of local tour guides in the destination. The primary goal of this PKM was to enhance English language skills and restore the motivation of local tour guides. Over a period of two years, from 2023 to 2024, 53 local tour guides were mentored using the Before-After method and a flexible mingling technique, allowing training schedules to adapt to participants' work hours. The program was further strengthened by introducing the work motto: "Sade Tourist Local Guide, SMART AND RELIABLE," aimed at fostering confidence and professionalism. The results showed a significant increase in learning motivation, reflected in participants' enthusiasm and attendance during the mentoring sessions, as well as improved English language proficiency in serving tourists. However, challenges such as limited English vocabulary, ineffective communication strategies, inadequate facilities, and time constraints remain. For future PKM activities, it is recommended to focus on enriching vocabulary and enhancing communication strategies, along with providing adequate facilities and more flexible learning schedules, including informal mentoring programs outside of working hours.

Abstract

The aim of this research is analyzing the factors involved in the use of code-switching among waiter/waitress in Amber Beach Resort's restaurant operations. The data collection method used in this research is a documentation study based on various theoretical references obtained from various sources of books, scientific articles and print and online media, second is in-depth interviews with informants, informants in this study are waiters/waitress s at Amber Resort Lombok restaurant, Indonesia. The third is to conduct direct observation at the research location by observing the service process carried out by restaurant waiters at Amber Beach Resort Lombok and the use of language transfer while providing services to restaurant guests. Based on the results of the discussion above, it can be concluded that the researcher found four factors involved in code switching among waiter/waitress at the amber restaurant, the four factors are Participants (greeters - receivers), setting, topic, and function. The four factors are relevant to the theory that has been described previously with real activities at amber resort. It is indicated that the participants come from the same work area and the same situation, code-switching occurs at amber resort among waiters and managers with specific topics about restaurant and hotel management, and they use code-switching to say repetition and clarification, give and emphasis about something (to express solidarity), express tolerance to show the intention of clarifying the speech content for the interlocutor and to refine or strengthen requests or orders

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas kebutuhan krusial akan kemahiran Bahasa Inggris di kalangan pemandu lokal (local guides) di Desa Adat Sade, Lombok, sebuah destinasi wisata budaya yang menonjol. Hambatan bahasa telah teridentifikasi sebagai kendala signifikan terhadap kualitas pengalaman wisatawan dan daya saing ekonomi masyarakat adat setempat. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara Bahasa Inggris para pemandu lokal guna memfasilitasi pertukaran budaya dan pemberian layanan pariwisata yang lebih baik. Sebuah program pelatihan berbasis masyarakat dilaksanakan, terdiri dari 16 sesi terstruktur yang diadakan pada malam hari untuk menyesuaikan dengan jam kerja para pemandu. Pendekatan pedagogis yang digunakan meliputi metode ceramah pendampingan langsung dan latihan praktik (drill practice), dengan fokus pada komunikasi praktis yang relevan dengan konteks pariwisata. Efektivitas intervensi dievaluasi menggunakan desain pre-test dan post-test, yang mengukur lima dimensi utama kemahiran berbicara: kelancaran (fluency), pengucapan (pronunciation), tata bahasa (grammar), kosakata (vocabulary), serta koherensi (coherence). Data penilaian menunjukkan tren positif dalam kemampuan komunikasi peserta. Pemandu dengan kemahiran awal yang lebih rendah menunjukkan peningkatan yang terukur, terutama dalam kelancaran dan penguasaan kosakata, sementara peserta tingkat lanjut mempertahankan tingkat kompetensi tinggi mereka. Metode pelatihan ini ditemukan efektif dalam membangun kepercayaan diri dan mengurangi keraguan saat berinteraksi dengan wisatawan asing. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa pelatihan bahasa yang berkelanjutan dan terarah merupakan langkah strategis untuk memberdayakan komunitas pariwisata pedesaan. Dengan mengatasi hambatan komunikasi, pemandu lokal dapat mempromosikan warisan budaya mereka dengan lebih efektif, sehingga mendukung pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan dan ketahanan ekonomi lokal.
