Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of classroom management by teachers on the learning discipline of class XI students at HKBP Sidikalang Private Vocational School. The method used in this research is an inferential quantitative approach. The population is all class Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 40 items. The results of data analysis show that classroom management by teachers has a positive and significant effect on student learning discipline at HKBP Sidikalang Private Vocational School. Test the analysis requirements in this research using the normality test to obtain the Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.200, meaning it is greater than 0.05 (0.200 > 0.05) so it can be concluded that the research data is normally distributed. The results of the correlation test show that there is a positive relationship between variable Apart from that, the significant relationship test obtained a value of tcount= 6.753 > ttable(=0.05, dk=n-2=72)= 2.000, thus there is a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y. The hypothesis was tested through a regression equation test, obtained the regression equation Y ̂=13.810+0.807 X and the regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 38.1%. Testing the hypothesis using the F test obtained Fcount > Ftable, namely 45.597 > 4.00. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. So it can be concluded that classroom management by teachers has a positive and significant effect on the learning discipline of class XI students at HKBP Sidikalang Private Vocational School.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of learning videos on conscience material: choosing the right on student learning outcomes in Christian Religious Education and Character Education subjects in class VII SMP N 4 Pahae Julu. The research hypothesis is: "There is a positive and significant influence of learning videos on the material of conscience: choosing the right on PAK and Characteristics learning outcomes in class VII of SMP Negeri 4 Pahae Julu, North Tapanuli Regency for the 2023/2024 Academic Year." The population is all students in class VII of SMP Negeri 4 Pahae Julu, totaling 110 people. The research sample was determined purposively, namely 36 students in class VII B as the experimental class who used video and class VII A, totaling 39 people as the control class who did not use video. The research approach uses a true experimental design method (experiment) with a post-test only control group design. The instrument used in this research was a test with 25 questions. Research data for the test questions were analyzed using the Pooled Variance t test formula. From the calculation results, the value of tcount = 6.483 > ttable(α=5%) = 2.000. The tcount value is in the curve area of ​​rejection of H0 and acceptance of Ha. Thus, it can be concluded that the research hypothesis is accepted, namely that there is a positive and significant influence of learning videos on the material of conscience: choosing the right one on PAK and Characteristics learning outcomes in class VII of SMP Negeri 4 Pahae Julu, North Tapanuli Regency for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The difference in PAK and Characteristics learning outcomes in class VII of SMP Negeri 4 Pahae Julu, North Tapanuli Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year is known from the average Christian Religious Education learning outcomes for students using learning videos on conscience material: choosing the correct one is 0,79 is higher than the average PAK and Characteristics learning outcomes for students who do not use learning videos on conscience material: choosing the right one, namely 0.67.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of implementing Ice Breaking on the learning motivation of Christian Religious Education and Character Education for class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Sitio Tio, Samosir Regency, Academic Year 2023/2024. The method in this research is a pre-experimental design research method in the form of "One Shot Case Study". The population is all class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sitio-tio Samosir Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 105 people and a sample of 35 people was determined using a purposive sampling technique. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 31 items, namely 15 items for variable Samosir Regency for the 2023/2024 Academic Year is known based on: 1) Analysis requirements test: a) positive relationship test obtained by the value rxy = 0.580 > rtable(=0.05,n=35) = 0.334. b) Testing a significant relationship obtained tcount= 4.090 > ttable(=0.05, dk=n-2=33)= 2.042. 2) Influence test: a) Regression equation test, obtained the regression equation Y ̂="36.05"+0.71X. b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 33.6%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount > Ftable=(=0.05, dk numerator k=15, dk denominator=n-2=35-2=33) namely 16.70 > 2.01. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of management regarding Human Resources, in order to improve the quality of education at SMA Negeri 1 Bandar Khalipah. Effective human resource management is a key to achieving a quality education goal. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The methods used to collect data are by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. As for checking the validity of the data, it is by using triangulation of methods and sources. The results of this study will later present a description of the implementation of Human Resource Management to improve the quality of education at SMA Negeri 1 Bandar Khalipah by: 1) Analysis of the work carried out by the principal on educational and teaching staff, 2) Very comprehensive and structured human resource planning in the management of educational and teaching staff, 3) Procurement of human resources involves various stages and depends on the status of prospective educators (Honorary and PNS), 4) Selection of human resources involves various different stages for prospective educators, CPNS selection is stricter and more formal while honorary is more flexible, 5) Orientation of human resources involves stages and depends on the status of honorary or PNS, for honorary workers it is more flexible with an observation period while PNS is structured and comprehensive, 6) Appointment and placement of human resources depends on the status of honorary employees or PNS, honorary workers are placed according to the orientation period if accepted before the opening of a new class while PNS are based on SK and qualifications, 7) Compensation of human resources depends on employee status and applicable regulations, 8) Development of human resource careers human resources that should involve strategies and programs, both internal and external, 9) Evaluating human resource performance is done with various methods and frequencies, 10) Dismissal and termination of employment of human resources in this school depends on the conditions of the work contract, teacher requests and policies from the head of the education office and the principal. This study found that active participation from all parties in the school, including the principal, teachers, and staff plays an important role in supporting the improvement of the quality of education. This study concludes that in order to obtain quality human resources, in its management, it is necessary to implement good and correct human resource management so that it is in accordance with the expected needs.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of library collections on the reading interest of Medan Baptist Theological College students. This research uses a quantitative approach with inferential statistics. With a total population of 88 Medan Baptist Theological College students in 2023. Data was collected using a 30-item questionnaire compiled by the author based on variable indicators according to theory. The results of data analysis show that there is a positive and significant influence in the Library Collection on the Reading Interest of Medan Baptist Theological College Students: 1) Test the analysis requirements: a) test the positive influence, the value rxy = 0.462 > rtable (=0.05, n=31) = 0.355, thus it is known that there is a positive influence between variable Thus, there is a significant relationship between variable b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 21.31%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount > Ftable, namely 7.854>4.00. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of the principal's situational leadership on teacher job satisfaction at SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong. The method used in this research is an inferential quantitative method. The population is all teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong, North Tapanuli Regency in 2023, totaling 83 people and this research is a population study. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 30 items. The results of the data analysis show that there is an influence of the principal's situational leadership on teacher job satisfaction at SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong: 1) Test the analysis requirements: a) test the positive influence obtained by the value rxy = 0.488 > rtable(=0.05,n=83 ) = 0.213, thus it is known that there is a positive influence between variable significant relationship between variable b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 23.8%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount > Ftable, namely 25.353 > 4.00. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the positive and significant influence of the Problem Based Learning Method on the learning activity of Christian Religious Education and Ethics students in grade VIII of SMP Negeri 3 Pagaran for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a positive and significant influence of the Problem Based Learning method on the learning activity of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Pagaran for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. This study uses a quantitative method with an inferential descriptive type, with a population of all grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Pagaran totaling 176 people with a sample of 35 people. The data collected by a closed questionnaire was 45 items. The questionnaire trial was carried out to 30 students at SMP Negeri 3 Pagaran, and so on the questionnaire was valid and reliable. The results of the analysis of the value of rcal=0.486> rtable=0.334 and that tcal=3.655> ttable=2.042 show that there is a relationship between the Problem Based Learning method and the learning activity of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Pagaran Academic Year 2023/2024 and obtained a simple regression equation, namely Ŷ = 32.44=0.34X. The hypothesis test was obtained Fcal > Ftable, which was 12.96 > 1.62, then H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. This study concluded that there was a positive and significant influence between the Problem Based Learning Method on the Learning Activity of Grade VIII Students of SMP Negeri 3 Pagaran for the 2023/2024 Academic Year of 23.61%.

Abstract

Practical Lectures and Community Service (KPPM) is a form of student service required by IAKN Tarutung, which is carried out in semester VI and lasts for three months. This program aims to improve community welfare and make the nation's life smarter through social activities that use science and technology. In Sipahutar Village, Sipoholon District, KPPM activities are carried out with the aim of increasing children's learning motivation through private tutoring programs, encouraging a spirit of mutual cooperation with the community, and holding healthy exercise with PKK mothers. The research method used involved two main stages: initial observation to identify educational problems in schools, and implementation of a free private tutoring program every Friday for 120 minutes for elementary school children. Apart from that, mutual cooperation activities and healthy exercise with PKK mothers were carried out as part of efforts to improve community welfare and health.The results of KPPM activities show that private tutoring has succeeded in increasing children's interest and motivation in learning in Sipahutar Village. An interactive learning approach adapted to school subjects helps children understand the material more easily. Mutual cooperation carried out with the community shows an increase in togetherness and citizen participation in social activities. Meanwhile, regularly held healthy exercise improves the fitness and health of PKK women, as well as strengthening social relations between them. The conclusion of this activity emphasizes the important role of students in serving society through education, health and other social activities. The KPPM program in Sipahutar Village has succeeded in creating positive change by involving all levels of society in a joint effort to improve welfare and education.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the positive and significant influence of the use of learning media in mathematics subjects on the learning activity of students at SMP Negeri 1 Parmonangan for the 2023/2024 academic year. The method used in this research is quantitative with an inferential statistical approach. The population is all class IX students at SMP Negeri 1 Parmonangan in 2024 totaling 68 people and a sample of 44 people was determined, namely 20% of the total population using random sampling techniques. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 30 items. The results of data analysis show that learning media has a positive and significant effect on students' active learning at SMP Negeri 1 Parmonangan. Test the analysis requirements in this research using the normality test which obtained the Asymp value. signature. (2-tailed) is 0.200, meaning it is greater than 0.05 (0.200 > 0.05) so it can be concluded that the research data is normally distributed. The results of the correlation test show that there is a positive relationship between variable Apart from that, the significant relationship test obtained a value of tcount= 0.629 > ttable(a=0.05, dk=n-2=42)= 2.021, thus there is a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y. The hypothesis was tested through a regression equation test, obtained the regression equation Y ̂=5.255+0.773X and the regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 39.5%. Testing the hypothesis using the F test obtained Fcount > Ftable, namely 27.470 > 4.08. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. So it can be concluded that learning media has a positive and significant effect on the active learning of class XI students at SMP Negeri 1 Parmonangan in 2024.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to prove the significant influence of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Learning Strategy on the Learning Outcomes of Class VIII Christian Religious Education and Character Education Students at SMP N 1 Tarutung for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The method used in this research is a quantitative experimental method. The population was all students in class VIII of SMP N 1 Tarutung for the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 157 people and a sample of 32 people were determined who were chosen deliberately (purposive sampling). Data was collected with 30 test items. The results of data analysis show that the learning outcomes of students taught with the Contextual teaching and Learning (CTL) Learning Strategy are higher than the Learning Outcomes of students taught with Conventional Strategies in Christian Religious Education and Character Education Subjects Class VIII SMP N 1 Tarutung Academic Year 2023/ 2024. Data analysis using the t test obtained a tcount value = 2.414 while the ttable value for error was 5% and n1 + n2 – 2 = 62, namely 1.998. So the ratio obtained is tcount > ttable, namely 2.414 > 1.998. Thus H0 is rejected, because H0 is rejected then H1 is accepted.
