Abstract

This research explores the implementation of Christian ethical values ​​for HKI Seisemayang Special Resort Sunday school children through the Cheerful Sunday method which was carried out by 5 IAKN Tarutung students for 3 months. A qualitative approach was used by collecting data through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and analysis of related documents. The research results showed that after implementing Cheerful Sunday, togetherness and friendship between Sunday school children increased, they applied politeness and Christian ethics, and reduced the use of negative sentences. The children became enthusiastic about participating in the worship service and invited other friends. Through games that combine groups, teachers teach children to love each other, work together, and form true friendships in Christ. This method has proven effective in developing the spirituality and ethics of Sunday school children in a fun way.

Abstract

This community service aims to increase public awareness and participation in maintaining environmental cleanliness through the routine Clean Saturday program in Tanjung Sari Village. This activity involves 6th semester students of the Christian Education Management Study Program of IAKN Tarutung who actively participate in cleaning the environment in various locations every week, as well as being involved in waste management at the New Normal Main Waste Bank. The methods used are direct participation and participatory observation, with a focus on cleanliness actions and community education. The results of the service show an increase in public awareness, the formation of environmental working groups, and changes in behavior that support the sustainability of the program. This service provides a real contribution to building a culture of clean and healthy living in the community and strengthening the role of students in community empowerment. Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a positive and significant effect of giving reinforcement on student learning motivation at SMP Negeri 3 Pangaribuan in the 2023/2024 Learning Year. This study uses a quantitative approach with a population of all VIII graders at SMP Negeri 3 Pangaribuan totaling 110 people with a sample of 44 people. Data were collected with a questionnaire of 35 items compiled by the author based on variable indicators according to theory. The questionnaire test was conducted on 30 students in the same place, namely SMP Negeri 3 Pangaribuan, the questionnaire of variable x was tested and it was found that all items were valid. With the validity test rcount (0.40 - 0.69) > rtable (0.05,30) = 0.361 and the reliability of the questionnaire test which is at a value of 0.883190. The results of the validity of the questionnaire test of variable y with the validity test rcount (0.38 - 0.78) > rtable (0.05,30) = 0.361 and the reliability of the questionnaire test which is at a value of 0.8558508.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the question and answer method on the learning motivation for Christian Religious Education and Character Education of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Kolang, Kolang District, Central Tapanuli Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research method used is a research method using a quantitative approach with inferential descriptive data analysis. The population is all 115 students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Kolang, Kolang District, Central Tapanuli Regency for the 2023/2024 Academic Year who are Christians and the research sample was determined to be 38 people, namely 35% of the total population using Random Sampling techniques. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 20 items for variable 05,n=38) = 0.320. b) Testing a significant relationship obtained a value of tcount= 3.410 > ttable(=0.05,dk=n-2=36)= 2.042. 2) Influence test: a) Regression equation test, obtained the regression equation Y ̂="11.82"+0.36X. b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 24.4%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount > Ftable=(=0.05, dk numerator k=12, dk denominator=n-2=38-2=36) namely 11.62 > 2.00. Thus, there is an influence of the question and answer method on the learning motivation of Christian Religious Education and Character Education for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Kolang, Kolang District, Central Tapanuli Regency, Academic Year 2023/2024. Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the role of the principal's visionary leadership in improving the quality of school management at Dharma Bhakti Siborongborong Private High School. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with a case study plan and data collection from informants using snowball sampling techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The qualitative data obtained will be analyzed through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the principal of Dharma Bhakti Siborongborong Private High School is able to carry out the visionary leadership role, namely as a direction setter, agent of change, spokesperson and trainer in managing the school. This research concludes that to realize mutual school management, the visionary leadership role of the school principal is needed by communicating the vision and directing all school members to remain focused on the vision that has been set, making the school that is experiencing change better and persisting to make the school superior, conveying ideas. - the idea is through joint meetings and building commitment and establishing good cooperation between internal and external parties in improving the quality of schools, and also making yourself a professional trainer in developing the abilities of teaching staff and educational staff so they can carry out their duties and responsibilities well to improve the quality of schools through management carried out by the school principal.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the positive and significant influence of the pedagogical competence of Christian Religious Education teachers on the learning interest of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Sipoholon for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research hypothesis is that there is a positive and significant influence on the pedagogical competence of Christian Religious Education teachers on the learning interest of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Sipoholon for the 2023/2024 academic year. Quantitative descriptive research method with inferential statistical data analysis. The population of all class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Sipoholon for the 2023/2024 academic year who are Protestant Christians is 108 people. The sample was random (random sampling) namely 50% of the total population, namely 54 people. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire. The results of data analysis obtained: a) The value rcount=0.684>rtabel=0.226 and tcount=6.762>ttable=2.00665 shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between the pedagogical competence of Christian Religious Education teachers and students' interest in learning. b) Regression equation. c) The determination test revealed that the magnitude of the effect was 46.79%. d) Hypothesis testing obtained Fcount=45.306>Ftable=3.15 then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The research concluded that there was a positive and significant influence between the pedagogical competence of Christian Religious Education teachers on the learning interest of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Sipoholon for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the positive and significant influence of the Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) Model on Learning Motivation for Christian Religious Education and Character in Class The research hypothesis is that there is a positive and significant influence between the Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) Model on Learning Motivation for Christian Religious Education and Characteristics of Class XI Students of SMA Negeri 1 Ujung Padang, Simalungun Regency, Academic Year 2023/2024. This research is a regression research using Inferential Statistics techniques. The population of all class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Ujung Padang who are Protestant Christians is 138 people. Random sampling (random sampling) is 30% of the total population, namely 40 people. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire. From the determination coefficient test, the value r2 = 0.555 is obtained. From the determination value (r2), it can be seen that the percentage of influence between the Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) Model on the Learning Motivation of Christian Religious Education and Character of Class XI Students of SMA Negeri 1 Ujung Padang, Simalungun Regency, Academic Year 2023/ 2024 is 55.5%. The results of the analysis requirements obtained values ​​rxy = 0.745> rtable = 0.312 and tcount = 6.896> ttable = 2.024 showing that there is a relationship between the Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) model and Christian Religious Education Learning Motivation and Character Characteristics of Students and obtained a regression equation Ŷ = 19.72 +0.564X. Hypothesis testing obtained Fcount=47.55>Ftable=4.09 so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The research concluded that there was a positive and significant influence of the Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) Model on the Learning Motivation for Christian Religious Education and Character of Class

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of parental attention on the interest in learning PAK of class XI students of HKBP Doloksanggul Private High School in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The research hypothesis is that there is a positive and significant influence between parental attention on the interest in learning PAK of class XI students of HKBP Doloksanggul Private High School in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The quantitative research method is descriptive and inferential. The population of all class XI students of HKBP Doloksanggul Private High School in the 2024/2025 Academic Year who are Protestant Christians is 159 people. The random sampling is 25% of the population, which is 40 people. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire. The results of the data analysis obtained: a) The value of r count = 0.647> r table = 0.312 and t count = 5.231> t table = 2.02439 indicates a positive and significant relationship between parental attention to the interest in learning PAK of class XI students of HKBP Doloksanggul Private High School in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. b) Regression equation. c) Determination test shows that the magnitude of the influence is 41.86%. d) Hypothesis test obtained F count = 27.411> F table = 3.23 then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The study concludes that there is a positive and significant influence between parental attention to the interest in learning PAK of class XI students of HKBP Doloksanggul Private High School in the 2024/2025 Academic Year.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how much the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model has on the learning motivation of class IX students at SMP Negeri 3 Lintong Nihuta, Humbang Hasundutan district, for the 2023/2024 academic year. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The population is all class IX students of SMP Negeri 3 Lintong Nihuta, Humbang Hasundutan Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 191 people and a sample of 32 people was determined using a purposive sampling technique. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 35 items. The results of the data analysis show that there is an influence of the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model on the learning motivation of class IX students at SMP Negeri 3 Lintong Nihuta, Humbang Hasundutan district for the 2023/2024 academic year: 1) Test the analysis requirements: a) positive relationship test obtained with a value of rxy = 0.586 > rtable(=0.05,n=32) = 0.349, thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable dk=n-2=30)= 2.042, thus there is a significant relationship between variable 60X. b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 34.3%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount > Ftable=(=0.05, dk numerator k=14, dk denominator=n-2=32-2=30) namely 15.66 > 2.01 Thus Ha accepted and H0 rejected.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the positive and significant influence of effective communication by Christian Religious Education and Character Education teachers on the learning motivation of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 4 Tarutung for the 2023/2024 academic year. The hypothesis of the study is there is a positive and significant influence of effective communication by Christian Religious Education and Character Education teachers on the learning motivation of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 4 Tarutung for the 2023/2024 academic year. The method that used in this study is an inferential quantitative method. The population is all 123 students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 4 Tarutung for the 2023/2024 academic year who are Protestant Christians and samples are determined 40% of the total population as many as 50 people by using random sampling techniques. The study instrument is a closed questionnaire with 39 items, namely 22 items for variable X and 17 items for variable Y. The results of data analysis obtained: a) Testing a positive relation (Product Moment Pearson) obtained a value of rcount = 0.413> rtable (a = 0.05, n = 50) = 0.297. b) Testing a significant relation (t-test) obtained a value of tcount= 3.141>ttable (a=0.05, df=n-2=48)= 2.000. c) Obtain the degree of influence with the regression equation Ŷ= 18,33 + 0,46X. d) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount= 9.823>Ftable (a=0.05, df numerator k-1=1, df denominator=n-2=50-2=48) =4.00. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. The study concluded that there was a positive and significant influence of effective communication by Christian Religious Education and Character Education teachers on the learning motivation of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 4 Tarutung for the 2023/2024 academic year.
