Abstract

The development of the agribusiness sector does not only focus on marketing but also on production. Tabanan is the leading producer of paprika in Bali. As a horticultural product, paprika has perishable nature, and its price is determined by the quality of the good. Besides, the marketing of horticultural commodities tends to involve many institutions which have an impact on prices in the market due to the distance between production sites and market locations. The purpose of this study were to analyze the marketing channels, market structure, and efficiency in marketing paprika in Candikuning, Baturiti, Tabanan Regency. The research method that been used was descriptive qualitative in marketing channels, price transmission elasticity, marketing margins, distribution of marketing margin, and farmer's share. The result showed that there are seven marketing channels in Candikuning. The market structure formed as imperfect competition market which is showed by the price transmission elasticity was 0.950 (Et <1). The marketing margin with the highest value was Rp 20,878.82/kg while the lowest was Rp 6,412.96/kg. The highest farmer share value was 87.76% while the lowest was 66.92%

Abstract

Garam merupakan komoditi yang sangat potensial dan strategis untuk dikembangkan di Indonesia. Desa Les merupakan desa penghasil garam tradisional di Kabupaten Buleleng. Keadaan geografis Desa Les yang dekat dengan pantai menjadi salah satu faktor pendorong bagi masyarakat sekitar untuk melakukan usaha produksi garam. Aspek tataniaga merupakan hal penting dalam mendukung peningkatan pendapatan petani garam. Panjang pendeknya saluran tataniaga mempengaruhi banyaknya lembaga tataniaga yang terlibat dan besarnya biaya tataniaga yang dikeluarkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui saluran tataniaga garam, struktur pasar, perilaku pasar garam, dan efisiensi tataniaga garam. Data penelitian ini dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Responden penelitian berjumlah 20 orang, terdiri dari 10 orang petani dan 10 orang lembaga tataniaga. Penentuan responden petani menggunakan metode Simple Random Sampling sedangkan penentuan jumlah responden lembaga tataniaga menggunakan teknik Snowball Sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat empat saluran tataniaga yang terlibat. Struktur pasar garam mengacu pada struktur pasar oligopoli. Saluran tataniaga tingkat 0 merupakan saluran terpendek dan paling efisien dengan margin tataniaga sebesar Rp. 0/kg dan farmer’s share sebesar 100% hal ini disebabkan karna tidak adanya lembaga tataniaga yang terlibat. Rasio keuntungan dan biaya terbesar ada pada saluran 2 yaitu sebesar 1,8.

Abstract

Farmers' Perceptions on the Use of Rice Transplanters in Subak Guama, Marga District, Tabanan Regency. Farmers in Subak Guama are still planting rice manually with human labor. The shortage of rice planting workers began to occur in several rice production centers. Most rice lands can still be planted manually, but the completion is usually not on time. The use of rice transplanter has the potential to solve this problem. Farmers' perceptions of rice transplanter technology need to be known in advance so that the implementation of the rice transplanter program can be sustainable. This study aims to identify the perceptions of Subak Guama farmers in Marga District, Tabanan Regency on the use of transplanters. The analytical method used is descriptive qualitative. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that most farmers agree with the use of rice transplanters with a percentage of 76.46 percent. Based on indicators of the nature of using rice transplanter technology, 77.18 percent of farmers agreed; based on indicators of target or rice transplanter users, 75.76 percent of farmers agreed; based on indicators of target attitudes or rice transplanter users, 75.67 percent of farmers agreed; and based on indicators of target or user behavior 76.78 percent of farmers agreed. attitude indicator or rice transplanter users was 75.67 percent included in the agree category and the target behavior indicator or rice transplanter users with 76.78 percent achievement fall into the agree category.

Abstract

One of the things that need to be considered in doing the marketing of products to be sold is by analyzing market segmentation and understanding the needs and desires of consumers. This is what Bali Buda has done in formulating its marketing strategy in the face of market share competition and sales decline due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of Market Segmentation and consumer preferences on the decision to purchase organic cakes in Bali Buda by using Structural Equating Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The sample in this study as many as 65 respondents who are consumers of organic cakes that have bought and consumed organic cakes in Bali Buda. The results showed that market segmentation and consumer preferences have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions by producing the original sample value of 0.456; 0.417 and p-value of 0.001; 0.002 with a standard error of 5%. This result means that if the market segmentation is properly formed and the preferences of consumers are met, it can affect the high purchasing decisions of organic cake consumers in Bali Buda.

Abstract

Factors Influence Consumers Decisions in Purchasing Organic Vegetables in the Modern Market of Denpasar City Organic vegetables are one of the products produced from agriculture that are environmentally friendly and closer to the concept of nature, so that it can provide a guarantee of good quality compared to ordinary vegetables. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence consumers decisions in purchasing organic vegetables and the most dominant factors influencing consumers decisions in purchasing organic vegetables in the Modern Market of Denpasar City. The data in this study consisted of qualitative data and quantitative data obtained from primary data sources and secondary data. The sampling technique was done by accidental sampling and obtained 50 respondents. The analysis technique used is SEM-PLS. The dependent variable (Y) is the consumers decisions and the independent variable (X) is price, product quality, location, service, and attitude. The results showed that the variables of price, product quality, and service had a significant effect, while the variables of location and attitude had no significant effect. The dominant variable that influences consumers decisions in purchasing organic vegetables in the Denpasar Modern Market is the price variable. Suggestions for this research are expected in the Modern Market can pay attention to the prices offered. Affordable prices supported by friendly service and appropriate product quality. The location is expected to be easy to reach and the attitude is well received.

Abstract

Supply Chain Risk Analysis of Tempeh at Pabrik Tahu dan Tempe Masmo Denpasar Bali. This study aims to identify product flow, financial flow and information flow, analyze the risks that occur and formulate risk mitigation to minimize the risks that occur in the tempe supply chain at Pabrik Tahu dan Tempe Masmo. Identification of flows in the supply chain is carried out by interviewing and observing as well as risk analysis using Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) model mapping. The identified risks are then analyzed using the Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) to calculate the Risk Priority Number (RPN) which will be used for the formulation of risk mitigation. The results showed that there were 18 risk events and 25 risk agents spread on SCOR mapping. The risk agent with the largest RPN value is the wrong fermentation room temperature with a value of 384 and the risk agent with the lowest RPN value is a calculation error when ordering soybeans to suppliers with a value of 1. There are 3 risk priorities given risk mitigation. There are three risk mitigation formulations, namely: (1) monitoring room temperature using a room thermometer, (2) performing regular machine maintenance, conducting specific training for workers and providing reward and punishment, (3) monitoring the quality of soybeans from suppliers.

Abstract

Analysis of Visitor Satisfaction Level at Kembang Kuning Tourism Village in East Lombok Regency. This study aims to 1) analyze the level of visitor interest and destination performance, 2) analyze destination attributes that need to be improved, 3) analyze the level of visitor satisfaction in the Kembang Kuning Tourism Village based on the level of visitor interest and the performance of the Kembang Kuning Tourism Village. The research sample amounted to 95 visitors. Data were analyzed using Important Performance Analysis (IPA) and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) methods. The results showed that 1) the level of visitor interest (4.25) was higher than the level of performance (4.08), 2) the attributes of the Kembang Kuning Tourism Village that needed to be improved were described in Quadrant I, namely several indicators on accessibility, amenity, ancillary, price, promotion, process. 3) the CSI value is 81.72%, which indicates that the satisfaction level of visitors to the Kembang Kuning Tourism Village in East Lombok Regency is categorized as very satisfied. This indicates that in general, visitors are very satisfied with the performance of the Kembang Kuning Tourism Village.

Abstract

Visitor Satisfaction Level at the Mangrove Attraction of Kampoeng Crab Ecotourism in Tuban Village, Badung Regency, Bali Province. Mangrove ecotourism Kampoeng Kepiting is an ecotourism formed with the main purpose to introduce the preservation and cultivation of mangrove forest ecosystems. The purpose of this study is 1) to analyze the level of importance (importance) of visitors and destination performance (performance) mangrove ecotourism Kampoeng Kepiting and 2) evaluate the level of visitor satisfaction. The study was carried out in Kampoeng Kepiting Mangrove ecotourism in Tuban Village, Badung regency in December 2021 to February 2022 by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents who visited Kampoeng Kepiting Mangrove ecotourism. The Data were analyzed using the method of Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).The results showed that: 1) the results of IPA (Important Performance Analysis) Analysis were distributed in four quadrants. Quadrant I shows a high level of importance and low performance that has not met the expectations of visitors. Indicators that need to be improved are mangrove scenery, mangrove crab cage cultivation, mangrove tours education, crab seedling release tours, Ticket purchase services and quick response in dealing with complaints and visitor responses. Quadrant II shows a high level of importance and performance according to visitors ' expectations. Indicators that need to be maintained are the availability of food stalls, photo spots, clean public bathrooms, Wifi areas; and promotion through social media. Quadrant III which shows a low level of importance and poor performance. Indicators that need to be improved to improve the performance of ecotourism Mangrove attraction is Crab Restaurant, mangrove tour with traditional boat, access road to ecotourism mangrove Kampoeng Kepiting.

Abstract

Comparison of Business Income of Molded Coconut Sugar Processing and Coconut Sugar Ants in Dawan District, Klungkung Regency. Dawan Village and Besan Village are two villages located in Dawan District, Klungkung Regency which have a lot of palm sugar and ant industries. Coconut sugar has a higher selling price due to product certification and differences in quality. The purpose of this study was to determine the income comparison and to find out the constraints faced by craftsmen from the business of processing coconut sugar and coconut sugar in Dawan District, Klungkung Regency. The research was conducted from July to September 2020 with a survey method, namely direct interviews with craftsmen. The total population is 39 molded coconut sugar craftsmen and 20 ant coconut sugar. The samples used were 20 craftsmen each. Determination of the sample method is done by probability sampling with a simple. random sampling technique The analysis used is income analysis and t , which is to find out the comparison of printed coconut sugar income with ant coconut sugar. The data analyzed includes income in one year, namely 2019. The results of the study are based on income analysis, namely the income of printed coconut sugar craftsmen in a year is Rp. 23,570,162/business. Coconut sugar craftsmen have an income of Rp 40,602,774/business. The income of molded coconut sugar craftsmen compared to ant coconut sugar is Rp 17,032,612/business in one year. Comparison income coconut sugar ant higher that is equal to 72%. Based on the results of the t there is a significant difference in income between the molded coconut sugar business and the ant coconut sugar business. The obstacles faced by the craftsmen are raw materials, capital,availability of tapping and marketing personnel.

Abstract

Income and Feasibility Study of Kintamani Arabica Coffee Farming in Bangli Regency, Bali Plant characteristics in the plantation subsector are classified as perennial and annual crops. Coffee as a plantation commodity has an essential role in the Indonesian economy. Kintamani coffee is grown in a specific area at an elevation of more than 900 meters above sea level. The Kintamani Bali coffee agroecosystem is ideal for Arabica coffee plants and homogeneous farming systems. This study aims to determine how much income Arabica coffee farming generates and assess the feasibility of the business. The research was conducted in Catur Village, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency. The research location was determined by purposive sampling based on the consideration that Catur Village is the largest coffee center and has the largest Arabica coffee plant population in the Kintamani District, Bangli Regency. The respondents of this study were Arabica coffee farmers in Catur Village. The sample was selected by simple random or random sampling, with a sample size of 30 farmers. The results showed that the average income of Kintamani Arabica coffee farming in Bangli Regency was 17,508,497 IDR/year/ha or 1,459,041 IDR/month/ha. The feasibility analysis of Kintamani Arabica coffee farming shows that the R/C ratio was 4.40, the B/C ratio was 3.40, the production BEP was 96.81 kg/ha, and the price BEP was 980.001.20 IDR/year/ha. According to theese findings, Kintamani Arabica coffee farming in Bangli Regency is feasible because it has benefited farmers.
