Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Inquiry-Based Learning model on students' scientific ability in Rotational Dynamics of a Rigid Bodies. This influence is seen from whether or not students can achieve the criteria of completeness by mastering three PISA (Program for International Student Assessment) indicators in 10 items on the test consisting of two questions to identify scientific problems, five question to explain phenomena scientifically, and three questions to interpret data and scientific evidence. The research method applied is the experimental method and uses the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design as a research design involving 4 classes, where 1 class acts as the experimental class and 3 classes as the replication class. Based on the statistical results of the t-test to test the research hypothesis, the t-count value for each sample class is greater than the t-table value. This shows that the use of the Inquiry-Based Learning learning model has an effect on students' scientific literacy abilities in the rotational dynamics of a rigid bodies

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the practicality of physics learning devices with guided inquiry learning models using google site media. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Tilango, and the study sample was class XI IPA, using a simple random sampling technique. This development study uses research and development research (R&D) using the developed ADDIE development model. It will be implemented in class XI IPA of SMA Negeri 1 Tilango for odd quarters of the 2022/2023 Academic Year in determining research topics using simple sampling methods. The results showed that the guided inquiry learning model with google sites media on static fluid material was very well used in the learning process, with an average percentage of learning implementation of 91.2%, an average student response of 83.6%, and an average response of teachers by 92.03%. Results from the average percentage of teacher and student responses on learning tools are expanded into practical categories that can be applied to the learning process.

Abstract

Unfortunately, there has been a great worry about clean and healthy water for human consumption lately. Even though 2/3 of the earth's surface is covered by water, the access to safe water is only concentrated in certain areas. In Indonesia, water scarcity is increasing each year. Recent data on freshwater resources possessed by all countries in the world shows that Indonesia is ranked 51st with the highest risk of water scarcity (40-80%). There are several methods to gain access to safe water, one of which is the use of distillation equipment. This research aims to produce a design of freshwater distillation equipment from seawater by utilizing solar radiation towards the quantity of freshwater and to determine the quality of freshwater from the results of distillation which include water pH, salinity, and TDS tests. The research method is done by heating sea water in the distillation equipment using solar radiation. Findings reveal that the average solar intensity of 1608.25 (lux) and the ambient temperature of 38.5 °C can produce an average volume of freshwater of 336.75 ml per day from the incoming seawater volume of 2000 ml. The water quality produced has a pH of 6.5, a salinity of 0.2 ppt, and a TDS of 152 mg/L.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of the Contextual teaching and learning model on science learning for disabled children. The learning devices use the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach and the PBI (Problem Based Instruction) learning model for disabled children in class X SMA which consists of the syllabus , RPP, LKPD, teaching materials and competency assessment. This research is a type of research and development using the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. This study uses data collection consisting of expert validation, observation, interviews and tests. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the learning tools that had been developed met the appropriate criteria and could be used with minor revisions. Decent learning tools were obtained from validation results by 3 validators who were test lecturers, while the effectiveness of the devices was obtained from several indicators, namely learning implementation with an average of 93.93%, student activity with an average of 86.9%. As well as positive responses from teachers and students obtained by interview.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memanfaatkan energi panas yang dihasilkan dari mesin kendaraan motor guna mendapatkan energi listrik. Desain perancangan konversi Energi yaitu dengan memperoleh energi panas dikonversi menggunakan Termoelektrik Generator (TEG). Pemasangan TEG dirancang pada knalpot dan blok mesin sepeda motor serta divariasikan susunan dan jumlah kepingannya. Posisi dan kedudukan TEG disusun secara seri dan paralel pada blok mesin dan knalpot. pengukuran rancangan untuk variasi kecepatan keadaan awal knalpot dan blok mesin dimulai pada rentang suhu 35-37oC. Hasil pengukuran menunjukan bahwa semakin besar jumlah termoelektrik generator yang dipasang, maka semakin besar pula energi listrik yang diperoleh dalam satuan watt. Dari data yang diperoleh nilai output listrik terbesar dihasilkan oleh 16 keping TEG pada rangkaian seri knalpot yaitu sebesar 0,9326 W, dan pada rangkaian paralel menghasilkan energi sebesar 0,424 W. Untuk rangkaian seri TEG pada blok mesin menghasilkan daya sebesar 0,718 W untuk 5 keping TEG. Untuk rangkaian paralel memperoleh daya sebesar 0,129 W. Efisiensi terbesar pada rangkaian seri di knalpot mencapai 10,198% dan efisiensi rangkaian paralel pada knalpot sebesar 8,005%. efisiensi pada rangkaian seri di blok mesin mencapai 6,322% dan pada rangkaian paralel pada blok mesin mencapai 2,149%. Pada penelitian ini, rangkaian yang disusun secara paralel tidak efisien untuk penghasil energi listrik

Abstract

Sugarcane bagasse is waste from the sugar industry which has the potential to be an efficient fuel for producing electricity by converting heat energy into electrical energy using a Thermoelectric Generator (TEG). TEG can be optimized to burn sugarcane bagasse as an alternative energy source in Indonesia. This research uses series and parallel configurations to test the optimal TEG configuration to increase energy conversion efficiency. The research results revealed that supercapacitors' parallel configuration produced the highest power in the 66th minute at 0.26 W. In comparison, the series configuration with supercapacitors produced 0.21 W of power in the 63rd minute. For the parallel configuration without supercapacitors, the energy produced reaches 0.20 W in the 69th minute, and the series configuration without supercapacitors produces 0.19 W in the 63rd minute. The parallel configuration shows more optimal performance than the series configuration, making it a promising solution in diversifying energy sources, especially in supporting efforts to utilize agricultural waste sustainably. Optimization of the thermoelectric generator configuration for burning sugarcane bagasse can be used as an alternative energy source.

Abstract

Thermoelectric Generator (TEG) is an energy conversion device used as an electricity generator to create hot electric currents through temperature differences. This research aims to determine the effect of time on temperature differences from burning rice husks (Oryza sativa L.) in series and parallel configurations. This research method was carried out experimentally by burning rice husk biomass in a kiln and utilizing the heat of the fire to convert it into electrical energy. The TEG total of 48 TEG pieces which produce the highest current in the series configuration produces the highest with respective values ​​of current 0.09 A and voltage 1.02 V, and the parallel configuration TEG produces the highest with respective values ​​of current 0.98 A and voltage 0.25 V. The highest temperature difference reaches 30.5°C in the series configuration and 31.8°C in the parallel configuration. The longer the burning time, the more significant the resulting temperature difference. Likewise, the greater the electric current and voltage, the longer the burning time.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana model pembelajaran berbasis proyek mempengaruhi kemampuan siswa untuk berpikir kreatif. jenis quasi experiment dugunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan desain Nonequivalent (Pretest dan Posttest) Control Group Design. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 34 siswa. Berdasarkan indikator berpikir kreatif, kelas eksperimen posttest memiliki indikator fluency sebesar 88,97%, flexibility sebesar 79,41%, dan originality sebesar 69,12%. Teknik pengumpulan data beberapa uji dilakukan yaitu normalitas, homogenitas, uji N-gain dan uji t independen. Hasil uji t independen diperoleh dengan nilai signifikansi 0.00 pada kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen, hal ini membuktikan bahwasanya hasil signifikansi t 0.05 dan di peroleh t hitung (9.739824) t tabel (1.7396) . Maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwasanya rata-rata populasi kedua sampel secara statistik signifikan berbeda.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh perbedaan suhu terhadap daya listrik pada 48 keping Thermoelectric Generator (TEG) dengan konfigurasi tertentu serta mengkaji pengaruh waktu pengisian terhadap arus, tegangan, dan daya listrik yang mengalir menuju superkapasitor saat digunakan untuk menyimpan muatan listrik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui pengukuran langsung. Parameter yang diukur meliputi tegangan dan arus, yang kemudian diolah untuk mendapatkan daya listrik yang dihasilkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan suhu yang terjadi berbanding lurus dengan waktu pembakaran. Semakin lama waktu pembakaran, semakin besar perbedaan suhu yang dihasilkan. Pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa konfigurasi seri menghasilkan perbedaan suhu tertinggi, yaitu 26,3°C, sedangkan konfigurasi paralel mencapai 21,6°C. Selain itu, analisis daya listrik menunjukkan bahwa konfigurasi seri menghasilkan daya lebih besar dibandingkan konfigurasi paralel. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa konfigurasi seri lebih optimal dalam menghasilkan daya listrik dibandingkan konfigurasi paralel pada sistem TEG yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Abstract This study aims to analyze the effect of temperature differences on electrical power in a system with 48 Thermoelectric Generator (TEG) units with specific configurations and examine the impact of charging time on current, voltage, and electrical power flowing into the supercapacitor when used for electrical charge storage. The research employs an experimental method with data collection conducted through direct measurements. The measured parameters include voltage and current, which are then processed to determine the generated electrical power. The results indicate that the temperature difference is directly proportional to the burning time. The longer the burning time, the greater the temperature difference. Measurements show that the series configuration achieves the highest temperature difference of 26.3°C, while the parallel configuration reaches 21.6°C. Furthermore, power analysis reveals that the series configuration generates more power than the parallel configuration. Thus, it can be concluded that the series configuration is more optimal in generating electrical power compared to the parallel configuration in the TEG system used in this study. Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, bahwa terdapat pengaruh secara signifikan pada tes three tier diagnostic test yang dibarengi dengan model pembelajaran inquiry based learning dalam pembelajaran dibutuhkan untuk mengetahui besar atau kecilnya tingkat pemahaman peserta didik pada topik Fluida Statis dan meminimalisirkan miskonsepsi pada peserta didik disekolah. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Bonepantai tahun ajaran 2023/2024, yang berjumlah 2 kelas. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 2 kelas, yaitu kelas XI Fisika 1, sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI Fisika 2, sebagai kelas replikasi, yang ditentukan secara acak dengan cara pengundian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes three tier diagnostic test atau tes tiga tingkatan. Tahap analisis menerangkan 1) Kevalidan, diamati dari perangkat pembelajaran yang disusun dan divalidasikan oleh validator ahli melalui lembar validasi mendapat skor 3,52 dalam kategori “Valid”; 2) Kepraktisan, dilihat dari keterlaksanaan pembelajaran yang diperoleh dari pengamatan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran didapati skor dengan persentase pada kelas eksperimen yaitu 90% sedangkan kelas replikasi adalah 89,25% artinya, kedua kelas yang digunakan memiliki persentase tinggi dan masuk pada kategori “sangat baik”. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kelayakan dan kualitas perangkat pembelajaran Model inquiry based learning (IBL) memenuhi aspek “valid dan praktis’ dan dapat digunakan untuk pembelajaran dikelas.
