Abstract

Background: A learning module, which is one of the learning facilities contains material, methods, and limitations. At Universitas Negeri Makassar, especially in the Department of Civil Engineering and Planning Education, there are only limited courses that provide learning modules. This study aims to develop a learning module for Road Material Testing course in the Department of Civil Engineering and Planning Education, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Makassar. Modules are beneficial because the self-instruction learning system in the module allows students to study independently so that learning resources do not always have to come from lecturers.Methods: This study employed the model by Puslitjaknov (2013) which is the simplified RnD design by Borg and Gall. The stages of research include the development of learning modules, analysis of data validation results, and revision of the developed products. The research instrument used was questionnaires which were given to media and material experts to assess the validity. The other instrument was used for testing students who had previously learned about Road Material Testing.Results: Based on the validation done by material and media experts, the developed module is in the Very Valid category. The results of large-scale field trials of the module with students of the Building Engineering Education study program at Universitas Negeri Makassar show that it is Very Valid (89.65%).Conclusion: The Road Material Testing learning module was developed in accordance with the Semester Lesson Plan of Road Material Testing course with four Course Learning Outcomes (CPMK), nine sub-Course Learning Outcomes of final competencies, and four learning activities.  The module was developed based on the results of the validation from material and media experts. Then, based on small and large-scale trials, the module is considered easy to understand.

Abstract

Background: This research is motivated by the emergence of symptoms of low learning independence which will result in the quality of learning outcomes. This study aims to: 1) Understand the influence of student learning independence on work readiness owned by class XII students of the Construction and Property Business Skills (CPBE) Program at SMK Negeri 2 Makassar, 2) Understand the influence of student self-efficacy on work readiness owned by class XII students of the CPBE Program at SMK Negeri 2 Makassar, 3) Understand the influence of learning independence and student self-efficacy on work readiness owned by class XII students of the CPBE Program at SMK Negeri 2 Makassar.Methods: This research uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study were XII grade students of the CPBE Program at SMK Negeri 2 Makassar, with a sample size of 56 students.Results: Based on the results of the analysis, shows that there is a tendency that the better the learning independence and self-efficacy received, the better the students' work readiness, and vice versa, the lower the learning independence and self-efficacy received by students, the lower the students' work readiness.Conclusion: The conclusions obtained are: 1). There is a positive influence between student learning independence on work readiness of class XII students in the CPBE Program at SMK Negeri 2 Makassar, 2). There is a positive influence between student self-efficacy and work readiness in class XII students of the CPBE Program at SMK Negeri 2 Makassar, 3). There is a positive influence between learning independence and student self-efficacy on work readiness in class XII students of the CPBE Program at SMK Negeri 2 Makassar

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan relevansi bidang kerja lulusan dengan latar belakang pendidikan mereka; dan (2) memetakan relevansi kompetensi D3 Teknik Sipil di dunia kerja dengan kompetensi D3 Teknik Sipil di FT UNM. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian survey. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh lulusan D3 teknik sipil 5 tahun terakhir dan industri tempat mereka bekerja. Sampel yang diambil menggunakan proportionate random sampling dengan jumlah sampel 16 lulusan dan 9 industri. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuisioner dan wawancara terstruktur. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) relevansi bidang kerja lulusan dengan latar belakang pendidikan mereka Cukup Baik; dan 2) kompetensi di dunia kerja sudah relevan dengan kompetensi lulusan D3 teknik sipil FT UNM. Keterampilan teknis lulusan Cukup Relevan yang mencapai 73,68%, namun masih terdapat 26,32% yang sudah tidak relevan lagi. Pada keterampilan bekerja, sebagian besar lulusan mencapai tingkat Ahli, namun demikian keterampilan tersebut tidak diperoleh pada pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi melainkan mereka dapatkan setelah mereka bekerja. THE RELEVANCY COMPETENCIES OF CIVIL ENGINEERING DIPLOM THREE GRADUATES IN THE WORLD OF WORKAbstractThis study aims to: (1) describe the relevance of the graduates employment with their educational background; and (2) mapping the relevance of the graduates competencies with the competencies in the world of work. This studied is a survey research. The research population consisted of all graduates of D3 civil engineering FT UNM for last 5 years and the industries of graduates employment. Sampling using proportionate random sampling consisted 16 graduates and 9 industries. Data collected by questionnaire and structured interviews. Data was analysis used qualitative descriptive. The result shows that 1) the relevance of the graduates employment with their educational background was quite good; 2) the competency in the world of work was relevance to the competencies of the graduates of D3 civil engineering FT UNM. Graduates technical skills quite relevant for 73,68%, but 26,32% was not relevant anymore. In employability skills, many graduates have achieve expert level, eventhought they have it not from the learning in the university but in the world of work.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to identify the distribution and relevance of graduate competencies in S1 PTSP Department FT UNM to those in the world of work. This research was conducted for a year. The location of this research was conducted in according with the distribution of graduates. Samples amount 28 respondents. The data collected used questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The result shows that the waiting period of graduate majoring in engineering education buildings PTSP FT UNM within the last 3 years (2013-2015) in getting a job was an average of 4.4 months. Then, the relevance of the work with their educational background according to their expertise was 85.72% while 14.28% are not suitable. Furthermore, the level of relevance of graduates' technical skills in the field of building engineering was at the level of relevant amount 44.48%, and in the field of education at the level of highly relevant amount 55.00% of the number of observed respondents. The level of employability skills were in the proficient category with the average value about 48.75% of all aspects.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Hasil desain modul pembelajaran mata kuliah belajar dan pembelajaran pada Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan 2) validasi hasil desain modul pembelajaran untuk mata kuliah Belajar dan Pembelajaran pada Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan model penelitian 4D yang terdiri dari define (pendefinisian), design (perencanaan), develop (pengembangan) dan disseminate (penyebaran). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Sipil dan Perencanaan Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Makassar. Subjek penelitian ini adalah validator ahli materi dan  ahli modul serta mahasiswa prodi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan angkatan 2023 di Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Sipil dan Perencanaan Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Makassar. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Modul Pembelajaran Mata Kuliah Belajar dan Pembelajaran Pada Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan, masuk dalam kategori sangat layak dengan skor kelayakan yang diperoleh dari: 1) Ahli modul 85% dan ahli materi 92%. 2) Hasil uji coba peserta didik 82%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas penggunaan modul pembelajaran sebelum dan setelah diterapkannya modul terhadap kemandirian mahasiswa pada mata kuliah belajar dan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Sipil dan Perencanaan, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen semu (quasi experimental) dengan desain kuesioner pre-test dan kuseioner post-test. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan angkatan 2024 sebanyak 27 mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada hasil distribusi kecenderungan kemandirian mahasiswa sebelum diterapkan modul pembelajaran pada kategori sedang dengan presentase 0% dan setelah diterapkan modul pembelajaran distribusi kecenderungan kemandirian mahasiswa pada kategori sedang meningkat dengan presentase sebesar 62,96%. Kemudian dari hasil uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai sig, (2 tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,005. Kesimpulannya penggunaan modul pembelajaran cukup efektif meningkatkan kemandirian mahasiswa pada mata kuliah belajar dan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) dalam mata pelajaran konstruksi jalan dan jembatan pada Jurusan Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan (DPIB) di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Metode pengembangan mengikuti langkah-langkah ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) dengan pendekatan gabungan kualitatif dan kuantitatif (mixed methods). Penelitian akan dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 4 Gowa sebagai lokasi utama pengumpulan data. Wawancara eksploratif dan juga dilakukan dengan guru dari SMK Negeri 2 Makassar dan SMK Negeri 3 Makassar untuk memperoleh informasi pendukung. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, angket, serta analisis kebutuhan guru serta peserta didik. Hasil validasi oleh ahli menunjukkan bahwa media Augmented Reality (AR) memperoleh skor rata-rata 78%, termasuk dalam kategori “Valid”. Selain itu, media ini mampu memvisualisasikan komponen konstruksi secara interaktif dan tiga dimensi yang memudahkan pemahaman siswa. Pengujian kepraktisan menunjukkan skor rata-rata 90%, dengan kategori “Sangat Praktis”. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media Augmented Reality (AR) berpotensi meningkatkan visualisasi, interaktivitas, dan minat belajar siswa terhadap materi konstruksi jalan dan jembatan.

Abstract

Dompu Regency vocational high school graduates are expected to be job-ready, yet many struggle to fulfill industry standards. Technical capabilities are generally stressed, but student drive, learning infrastructure, and soft skills are significant but understudied aspects affecting professional preparation. This study examines how Dompu Regency vocational high school students' learning motivation mediates the effect of soft skills and learning facilities on work preparedness. The study was quantitative and ex post facto. The sample included 211 grade XI students selected by cluster selection and proportional random sampling to represent regency schools. Structured equation modeling using partial least squares was used to examine data. The results show that soft skills have a significant effect on work readiness (β = 0.395; p = 0.000) and learning motivation (β = 0.621; p = 0.000). Learning facilities also significantly influence work readiness (β = 0.139; p = 0.006) and learning motivation (β = 0.216; p = 0.000). Furthermore, learning motivation significantly influences work readiness (β = 0.413; p = 0.000) and serves as a vital mediator for both soft skills and learning facilities. These findings underscore that work readiness is not merely a product of external resources but is heavily driven by the student's internal motivation developed during the learning process. The "mediation mechanism" of motivation is empirically supported in this vocational education study. It gives Dompu Regency schools and policymakers a framework to emphasize physical infrastructure, soft skill integration, and psychological motivational tactics to boost graduate employability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun modul pembelajaran penilaian kelayakan struktur bangunan di Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Sipil dan Perencanaan Universitas Negeri Makassar, presentase respon peserta didik terhadap modul, serta validitas modul pembelajaran pembelajaran penilaian kelayakan struktur bangunan di Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Sipil dan Perencanaan Universitas Negeri Makassar. Penyususnan modul pembelajaran dilakukan agar mempermudah peserta didik dan tenaga pendidik dalam melakukan proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan validasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi modul ini dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba terhadap mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Sipil Perencanaan Universitas Negeri Makassar didapatkan hasil presentase yaitu 86,50% sehingga modul dinyatakan dalam kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan Google Classroom terhadap minat belajar siswa, khususnya pada mata pelajaran Estimasi Biaya Konstruksi. Selain itu untuk mengetahui penerapan aplikasi Google Classroom dan menguraikan minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Estimasi Biaya Konstruksi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMKN 2 Maros tahun ajaran 2020/2021 dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas XI DPIB dengan jumlah sampel 30 siswa. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa penerapan aplikasi google clasroom sudah baik, namun minat belajar siswa kelas XI pada mata pelajaran estimasi biaya konstruksi masuk dalam kategori rendah. Dari analisis data diperoleh persamaan Y=13.722+0.652X+e, nilai t hitung sebesar 8,818 dimana nilai tersebut lebih besar dari t tabel 2,048 maka Ha diterima dan Ho di tolak artinya ada pengaruh antara penerapan aplikasi google classroom terhadap minat belajar siswa dengan nilai R2 sebesar 73,5%.
