Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perilaku konsumen Muslim dalam keputusan pembelian pakaian bekas serta implikasinya terhadap keberlangsungan UMKM lokal di kota Jambi ditinjau berdasarkan maqashid syariah. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan informan yaitu konsumen Muslim dan UMKM lokal.  Serta didukung dengan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), buku, jurnal dan artikel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perilaku konsumen Muslim dalam melakukan pembelian pakaian bekas belum sepenuhnya mencerminkan prinsip-prinsip perilaku konsumen dalam Islam. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, didapatkan bahwa munculnya tren thrifting menyebabkan penurunan pendapatan pelaku UMKM lokal yang menjual pakaian baru. Berdasarkan tinjauan maqashid syariah, perilaku konsumen Muslim belum sepenuhnya mencerminkan tujuan maqashid syariah serta implikasi terhadap keberlangsungan UMKM lokal di kota Jambi belum mencapai tujuan maqashid syariah sebagai bentuk memelihara harta karena tidak terjadi distribusi kekayaan dan manfaat ekonomi yang adil.

Abstract

The development and promotion of academic staff are critical for enhancing institutional quality, faculty productivity, and career advancement in higher education. However, faculty members often face challenges in research productivity, administrative procedures, and institutional support that can hinder their academic promotion. This study aimed at examine the strategies for managing human resources for lecturers in tertiary education institutions in order to enhance the advancement of functional positions for lecturers. The research used mixed-methods approach design, combining both numerical and descriptive methods. The sample of this study consists of 30 permanent lecturers who work in universities in Indonesia. Questionnaire and interview data were analyzed descriptively and thematically to examine lecturers’ promotion challenges, human capital management strategies, and their impact on higher education quality. The research findings show that although lecturers understand the procedures for advancing functional positions, many still face barriers related to scientific publications and meeting credit points. Universities play a key role in providing the necessary support and facilitation to accelerate the advancement of functional positions. This research provides important perspectives on the significance of managing HR for lecturers in higher education to improve academic quality and foster lecturers’ careers.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi peningkatan kinerja karyawan dengan fokus pada pelatihan, penghargaan, dan motivasi kerja sebagai faktor utama pendorong kinerja. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode wawancara mendalam kepada manajemen dan karyawan sebagai data primer, disertai analisis dokumen dan studi pustaka sebagai data sekunder, serta menggunakan matriks TOWS untuk merumuskan strategi berdasarkan kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman organisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan berkelanjutan, sistem penghargaan yang adil dan transparan, serta motivasi kerja yang dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan kerja kondusif dan nilai-nilai Islam secara signifikan meningkatkan disiplin, produktivitas, dan kualitas kerja; sementara peluang pengembangan karir, kerja sama antar divisi, dan budaya kerja positif mendukung peningkatan kinerja, di sisi lain tantangan berupa tekanan target tinggi, kebutuhan adaptasi teknologi, dan kompleksitas pelayanan nasabah harus diantisipasi. Strategi yang diusulkan meliputi pelatihan terstruktur untuk peningkatan kompetensi, disiplin ketat, pemberian apresiasi dan insentif, serta pengelolaan stres dan beban kerja yang seimbang untuk menjaga kualitas kinerja secara berkelanjutan. Rekomendasi diberikan agar Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Muara Bungo terus mengoptimalkan pengelolaan beban kerja, memperkuat pelatihan dan motivasi, serta mengembangkan sistem penghargaan yang adaptif demi pencapaian tujuan perusahaan secara efektif dan efisien.Kata kunci: strategi peningkatan kinerja Bank Syariah Indonesia, matriks TOWS.   Abstract This study aims to analyze employee performance improvement strategies with a focus on training, rewards, and work motivation as the main factors driving performance. The study uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews with management and employees as primary data, accompanied by document analysis and literature studies as secondary data, and uses the TOWS matrix to formulate strategies based on the organization's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The results of the study indicate that continuous training, a fair and transparent reward system, and work motivation influenced by a conducive work environment and Islamic values ​​significantly improve discipline, productivity, and work quality; while career development opportunities, inter-divisional cooperation, and a positive work culture support performance improvement. On the other hand, challenges such as high target pressure, the need for technology adaptation, and the complexity of customer service must be anticipated. The proposed strategy includes structured training to improve competency, strict discipline, providing appreciation and incentives, and managing stress and workload in a balanced manner to maintain sustainable performance quality. Recommendations are given for Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Muara Bungo to continue optimizing workload management, strengthening training and motivation, and developing an adaptive reward system to achieve company goals effectively and efficiently.
