Abstract

Character education is an effort to shape students' personalities, This is a crucial aspect that needs to be applied by educators in the school environment. This is especially relevant in the midst of the rapid development of information technology that affects students' lives. This study aims to understand the role of education in bullying prevention efforts. This research was conducted using a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data collected was analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The respondents of this study were the Vice President of Student Affairs and students of MA Tanwirul Qulub Sungelebak Karanggeneng Lamongan. The results of this study reveal that teaching character education to students has an important role, because the instillation of these values can help prevent bullying behavior.

Abstract

Islamic religious education plays a crucial role in enhancing the spiritual well-being of the elderly at the At-Taqwa Elderly Care Home in Lamongan. With the increasing elderly population in Indonesia, spiritual support through religious education has become increasingly relevant. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design, collecting data through in-depth interviews with the home's administrators and direct observations. The findings indicate that activities such as congregational prayers, Quranic learning, study circles, and social religious activities effectively strengthen faith, provide meaning in life, and improve the mental and emotional health of the elderly. Thus, Islamic religious education in elderly care homes not only fulfills spiritual needs but also contributes to holistic well-being, helping the elderly live more peacefully and happily in their daily lives.

Abstract

Abstract. Moral education is an important foundation in shaping the character of the younger generation,especially in an Islamic boarding school environment which has the main mission of producing individuals withnoble character. This study aims to analyze the implementation of moral education in shaping the character ofstudents at An Nuur Kembangbahu Islamic Boarding School. The method used is descriptive qualitative with datacollection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that moraleducation at An Nuur Islamic Boarding School is implemented through a holistic approach that includeshabituation of good behavior, teaching Islamic values, and exemplary behavior from caregivers. Santri aretrained to apply moral values through activities such as congregational prayer, yellow book recitation, communityservice, and fostering social attitudes in everyday life. Strengthening Islamic values is carried out in an integratedmanner through the formal and non-formal curriculum. In addition, the ustadz and caregivers act as role modelswho consistently show commendable behavior, thus providing a positive influence on students. Thisimplementation has proven effective in shaping the character of students who are disciplined, responsible, honest,and have integrity. The results also revealed that the success of moral education at An Nuur Islamic BoardingSchool is inseparable from a supportive environment, and the commitment of caregivers in assisting students.This research confirms that moral education in pesantren is a strategic model in producing morally, intellectually,and spiritually superior generations.

Abstract

Abstract. The orphanage environment has a crucial role in the character education process of foster children. This study analyzes the impact of the physical, social, and coaching programs in the Ar-Rasyid Orphanage on the formation of children's character. Through daily activities, children are taught values such as responsibility, independence, and cooperation. However, there are obstacles such as limited facilities and the number of caregivers that affect the effectiveness of character education. The method used in this study is qualitative, involving observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that caregivers play an important role model, while social interaction among foster children also supports character formation.

Abstract

The global ethical crisis, marked by increasing unethical behavior such as corruption and social conflict, necessitates an educational approach that instills moral and ethical values. This article examines the urgency of adab-based learning as a potential solution, drawing upon hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SAW and relevant literature. Using a literature study approach, this research reveals the hadith's explicit emphasis on character building through adab, including respect for teachers, politeness, and integrity. Consequently, implementing adab values in education is crucial for developing individuals with noble morals who can contribute to mitigating the global ethical crisis. This study suggests that adab-based education offers a valuable framework for addressing contemporary ethical challenges.

Abstract

Carmine coloring is a type of food coloring that is used to increase the attractiveness of food. This dye produces red and its derivatives. Apart from being used in food, this dye is also often found in beauty products. However, this carmine dye has sparked controversy among Muslims, this controversy is motivated by differences of opinion in determining the law on its use. Among them are legal contradictions issued by Majelis Ulama Indonesia and Lajnah Bahtsul Masa'il Nahdlatul Ulama. Therefore, this research is here to discuss several main things, first is to find out the legal procedures between Majelis Ulama Indonesia and Lajnah Bahtsul Masa'il Nahdlatul Ulama, second is to find out the legal product for the use of carmine dye from Majelis Ulama Indonesia and Lajnah Bahtsul Masa 'il Nahdlatul Ulama. This research uses qualitative research methods with pure library research as the data source. As a result, the law for using carmine dye according to Majelis Ulama Indonesia is halal, in contrast to the Lajnah Bahtsul Masa'il Nahdlatul Ulama which stipulates that the use of this dye is haram.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of group guidance services using discussion techniques to increase student self-confidence at SMK Negeri 5, Pontianak City. This study used an experimental method with a pre-experimental design and a one-group pretest-posttest design. The data collection technique used was a self-confidence inventory. Data analysis used a parametric paired sample t-test. The results showed that students' pre-test scores had an average percentage of 37.5%, categorized as low, and post-test scores had an average percentage of 79.375%, categorized as high, an increase of 31.88%. The results of the hypothesis test showed a t-value of 7.716 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be interpreted that there was a significant increase after being given group guidance with discussion techniques to increase student self-confidence at SMK Negeri 5, Pontianak City

Abstract

Self-disclosure is an interpersonal communication process in which individuals voluntarily share personal information that is typically unknown to others. This research focuses on the self-disclosure of male students to Guidance and Counseling teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Pulau Maya, aiming to explore the factors influencing their openness and its impact on their personal and emotional development. Using a quantitative descriptive approach, the study collected data from 33 male students through a questionnaire based on a Likert scale. The results revealed that the students demonstrated a high level of self-disclosure with a score of 87.04%, indicating a strong sense of comfort and trust in sharing personal thoughts, feelings, and experiences with their BK teacher. The study also found that both internal factors, such as self-confidence and social acceptance, and external factors, such as supportive school environments and teacher-student relationships, significantly contributed to students' openness. The findings support previous research that self-disclosure promotes emotional well-being and stress management. Based on these results, it is recommended that teachers create a safe and supportive environment to encourage self-disclosure, helping students develop better emotional and social skills. Furthermore, more programs that facilitate open communication, such as group counseling sessions, should be implemented to support students' personal development.

Abstract

Sebagai lembaga Pendidikan Islam tradisional pesantren terus berupaya menjaga kekayaan intelektual Islam sekaligus menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pendidkan masa kini, analisis ini mendalami kurikulum pesantren Al-Itqon Bugen Jawa Tengah, dengan pendalaman metode untuk memertahankan tradisi intelektual Islam mekanisme pewarisan dan aspek yang memengaruhi proses integrasinya dengan sistem Pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menampilkan bahwa struktur kurikulum yang terdiri dari 40% kajian kitab kuning dan 60% kurikulum nasional , proses pewarisnya dibuat melalui bandongan sorogan dan halaqah yang digabungkan dengan metode terbaru dan diskusi tematik seperti proyek kolaboratif kepemimpinan kyai yang progresif keterlibatan masyarakat dan kapisitas manajemen pesantren ialah sejumlah faktor tradisi mendorong integrasi. Keterbatasan tenaga Pendidik dalam berbagai aspek ketentuan akreditasi adalah rintangan utamanya berdasarkan penelitian ini. Pondok Al-Itqon berhasil mendirikan tradisi yang hidup dengan memakai model integrasi yang adaptif antara warisan intelektual Islam dan Pendidikan modern. Konsep tradisi berguna sebagai landasan untuk menjaga dan memperluas warisan intelektual Islam, peran penting pendidkan pesantren dalam ilmu klasik yang berdiri mepertahankan pola pembelajaran yang tersusun dan budaya religius yang kuat. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk mengenali betapa tradisi hidup, Pendidikan pesantren kyai, dan karakter guru dalam mempertahankan pewaris ilmu-ilmu Islam. Untuk menghidupkan Kembali ilmu tradisional di dunia modern menyatukan Pendidikan spiritual dan karakteristik dan spiritual formal, literatur klasik di awasi dengan menyeluruh. Hasil penelitian memberitahukan bahwa pesantren Al-Itqon berhasil mempertahankan kedudukan tradisional dan prinsip Islam klasik sementara tetap relevan dengan perkembangan Pendidikan modern dan melestarikan warisan keilmuan islam secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan analisis yang mendalam mengenai konsep rukhsah atau dispensasi puasa bagi mahasiswa yang mengalami kondisi medis tertentu, dengan mengintregasikan perspektif fikih dan kebutuhan praktis dalam kehidupan akademik. Dalam radisi hukum islam, rukhsah merupakan bentuk keringanan yang diberikan kepada mukallaf Ketika kondisi normal tidak memungkinkan pelaksanaan ibadah secara sempurna. Mahasiswa dengan gangguan Kesehatan seperti penyakit kronis, gangguan metabolik, masalah gastrointestinal, atau kondisi psikis yang diperparah oleh puasa, seringkali menghadapi dilema antara menjaga komitmen religious dan mempertahankan stabilitas Kesehatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analitis deskriptif melalui telaah literatur fikih klasik, fatwa kontemporer, serta kajian medis yang relevan guna untuk menetapkan Batasan dan indikator objektif terkait kebolehan meninggalkan atau mengganti puasa. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa fiqh al rukhsah menjadi dasar pemberian dispensasi. Syariat mengedepankan keselamatan dan menolak kemudharatan, sehingga mahasiswa yang kondisi medisnyadapat memburuk apabila berpuasa berhak mendapatkan rukhsah berupa tidak berpuasa, mengganti di hari lain, atau dalam kasus membayar fidyah. Disamping itu, penelitian menemukan bahwa Sebagian mahasiswa memahami bahwa kerangka fikih yang membolehkan keringanan sehingga mulai memahami rukhsah puasa yang dianjurkan dalam kondisi medis tertentu. Diperlukannya juga edukasi fikih Kesehatan di lingkungan kampus untuk meningkatkan literasi keagamaan dan kesehatan, sehingga mahasiswa mampu mengambil Keputusan ibadah yang tepat, seimbang, dan sesuai dengan ketentuan syariat maupun kebutuhan medis mereka.
