Abstract

Islam is a religion that is tsumul/perfect, several aspects are stated in it, including the educational aspect, while the foundation of the Indonesian state, Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution, in several articles also states the issue of education, for example in the first principle of Pancasila. This illustrates that there is relevance between the two, especially in Islamic religious education. The aim of this research is to determine the relevance between Islamic Religious Education and National Education Goals. This research examines how the Islamic education system positions and positions the Islamic Education system as a sub-system in the national education system, taking into account various aspects that surround it, as well as the reality of Islamic education/Islamic educational institutions (madrasah/Islamic boarding school) in Indonesia. So it will be seen, the relevance between Islamic Religious Education and the goals of National Education.

Abstract

Kompetensi pedagogik guru sangat dibutuhkan dalam pembelajaran di kelas, kompetensi pedagogic guru yang lemah akan mengakibatkan tujuan pembelajaran belum tercapai secara maksimal. Kompetensi pedagogic ini merupakan kecakapan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran termasuk merancang dan merumuskan perangkat pembelajaran (RPP), apalagi saat sekarang kini guru sudah harus mampu mengimplementasikan modul ajar sesuai dengan kurikulum yang diberlakukan saat kini. Sudah semaraknya usaha pemerintah memberikan pelatihan atau bimtek kepada guru guna untuk mengasah dan meningkatkan skill guru dalam merancang dan membuat modul ajar, tapi masih ditemukan sebagian guru yang mengcopy paste diinternet. Guru masih belum mampu mengembangkan bahan ajar serta penggunaan media yang sesuai. Masih minimnya kemampuan guru dalam menggunakan metode atau strategi yang tepat sesuai dengan kurikulum yang diterapkaan saat ini. Apalagi sekarang pembelajaran berbasis proyek, guru harus paham apa yang akan dicapai proyek tersebut sehingga dapat terseleseikan dengan baik. Masih ada sebagian guru yang belum mampu menguasai konsep materi yang akan diajarakan kepada peserta didik, sehingga tujuan pembelajaran belum tercapai dengan maksimal. Kemampuan pedagogik guru ini masih perlu dipertajam agar tujuan pendidikan dikelas tersebut dapat tercapai sesuai dengan harapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kontribusi KKG terhadap kompetensi pedagogic guru SDN Kuranji Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis kuantitatif. Yang menjadi Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru SDN Kuranji Kota Padang yang berjumlah 78 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner skala Likert. Analisis data terdiri dari 1) deskripsi data, 2) uji prasyarat, 3) pengujian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan dari kelompok kerja guru (KKG) terhadap kompetensi pedagogic guru SDN Kuranji Padang sebesar 79.00% tingkat capaian responden baik. Hal menunjukkan bahwa kelompok kerja guru (KKG) sangat penting  dalam mengubah kompetensi pedagogic guru. Untuk itu diharapkan kepada semua guru SDN Kuranji Padang dapat mengikuti program KKG yang telah ditetapkan sebagai lembaga atau wadah pengembangan kemampuan guru, agar kompetensi guru khususnya kompetensi pedagogic dapat menjadi lebih baik lagi.

Abstract

This study presents a strategic decision-making framework for portfolio investment by applying computational risk assessment methods to the transportation sector in Indonesia. Focusing on two key players—PT. Adi Sarana Tbk (ASSA) and PT. Blue Bird Tbk (BIRD)—the research evaluates their individual and combined risk-return profiles using daily stock return data from December 2023 to November 2024. A hybrid analytical approach is employed, integrating traditional financial metrics with advanced computational techniques such as Monte Carlo simulation and Value at Risk (VaR) modeling to support managerial decision-making. The analysis reveals contrasting performance patterns: BIRD exhibits marginally positive expected returns (0.04%) but higher downside risk exposure, whereas ASSA shows negative average returns (-0.06%) yet demonstrates lower volatility and reduced extreme loss potential. Portfolio optimization results demonstrate that a diversified allocation of 60% ASSA and 40% BIRD generates improved risk-adjusted returns, achieving a positive expected return while maintaining lower overall risk compared to the individual assets. By incorporating monetary VaR estimates, this study enhances the practical relevance of risk analytics for portfolio managers, particularly in navigating volatile emerging markets. The findings underscore the importance of strategic asset allocation, business model differentiation, and quantitative risk modeling in constructing resilient investment portfolios. This research contributes both methodologically and managerially by offering a robust, replicable framework for strategic decision analysis in transportation asset management and beyond.

Abstract

Background. The implementation of risk management in educational institutions has become increasingly crucial due to the growing complexities and uncertainties in the education sector. However, many institutions face challenges in effectively adopting risk management practices, leading to potential vulnerabilities that affect their operational and educational outcomes. Purpose. This study aims to evaluate the current state of risk management implementation in educational institutions, focusing on the strategies, processes, and challenges involved. Method. The research adopts a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative interviews with key stakeholders (administrators, staff, and educators) and quantitative surveys to assess the extent of risk management practices across several educational institutions. Results. The findings reveal that while risk management practices are recognized as essential, their implementation is often inconsistent and lacks a systematic approach. Key challenges identified include insufficient training, lack of resources, and resistance to change. The study concludes that to enhance the effectiveness of risk management in educational institutions, it is crucial to establish clear policies, provide continuous professional development, and foster a culture of proactive risk identification and mitigation. Conclusion. The research provides valuable insights for educational administrators and policymakers to improve risk management frameworks and ensure the sustainability and resilience of educational institutions.

Abstract

This research set out to identify the Madrasah educational paradigm for religious humanism principles. A literature review was performed as the research methodology. It is recognised that the model of religious humanism value education in Madrasahs, namely 1) The Model of Religious humanism Values, is based on examination of many literary sources, including books, papers, and prior research. The educational system used in madrasahs is integralistic. The covert curriculum, meanwhile, contains the instructional process. The process of fostering religious humanist educational values in Madrasas has taken the form of meaningful learning (meaningfull learning); transformative learning; dialogical learning; growth towards the development of self-respect character; realisation of learning experiences; and freedom to learn (freedom to learn) human/student potential towards physical, intellectual, and moral development.

Abstract

Teacher competence plays a crucial role in determining the quality of education in elementary schools. However, many teachers face challenges in effectively implementing pedagogical strategies, classroom management, and curriculum delivery, which can impact student outcomes. Academic supervision has emerged as a vital mechanism for supporting and enhancing teacher performance by providing constructive feedback, mentoring, and professional development opportunities. This study aims to investigate the influence of academic supervision on improving elementary school teachers’ competence. A mixed-methods research design was employed, incorporating quantitative and qualitative approaches. The study involved 50 elementary school teachers, with data collected through teacher competence assessments, supervision activity records, and in-depth interviews. The findings revealed that academic supervision significantly improved teachers’ pedagogical and professional competencies. These results underscore the value of academic supervision as a strategic tool for enhancing teacher effectiveness and, consequently, educational quality. The study concludes by recommending the systematic implementation of academic supervision programs in elementary schools to optimize teacher performance and professional growth.

Abstract

Developing a strong understanding of scientific concepts is critical for elementary school students as it forms the foundation for advanced learning and problem-solving skills. However, traditional teaching methods often fail to engage students effectively, leading to superficial understanding and low retention of science concepts. The use of teaching aids has been identified as a potential strategy to address this issue by making abstract concepts more tangible and interactive. This study aims to investigate the relationship between the use of teaching aids and the understanding of science concepts among elementary school students. A correlational research design was employed, involving 120 fifth-grade students from multiple schools. Data were collected using a science concept understanding test and an observation checklist to measure the extent and effectiveness of teaching aid usage. The results revealed a significant positive correlation between the use of teaching aids and students’ understanding of science concepts. Students exposed to teaching aids demonstrated higher levels of engagement, comprehension, and retention compared to those who received traditional instruction. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating teaching aids into science lessons to enhance learning outcomes. The study concludes by recommending the widespread use of teaching aids to support effective science education in elementary schools.
