Abstract

Purpose – This This study aims to determine and analyze the intention model using the Tije mobile application for Transjakarta users. In several previous studies, it was found that attitude mediates perceptions of convenience, perceived usefulness, and social influence on intention to use.Methodology/approaches –The method used in this study is quantitative and descriptive causal research methods. The research hypothesis testing was carried out using the Partial Least Square (PLS) based Structural Equation Model (SEM) approach.Findings – It The results showed that independently, the variables perceived convenience, perceived usefulness and social influence had a positive influence on the intention to use the Tije mobile application. The attitude variable also has a positive and significant influence on the intention to use. The three independent variables are mediated by attitudes which have a positive and significant influence on the intention to use.

Abstract

Purpose: To analyze the determining factors influencing Indonesian consumers’ interest in using paper-based food packaging. In the context of increasing plastic waste and rising environmental concerns, the study seeks to evaluate behavioral tendencies supporting sustainable consumer practices aligned with sustainable goals. Methodology: A quantitative approach using an online questionnaire with a purposive sample of 710 respondents across Indonesia. The data were analyzed using IBM SPSS and Artificial Neural Network (ANN) models to explore complex relationships between sustainable consumer behavior (SCB) variable with attitude (AT), environmental insight (EI), environmental risk perception (ERP), governmental support & regulations (GSR), intention (IN), perceived behavioral control (PBC), and subjective norm (SN). Results: The survey results processed with ANN showed a high level of accuracy for all hypothesized relationships, with AT emerging as the most influential factor on SCB (97.75% accuracy), followed by PBC and IN. All seven tested hypotheses were positively accepted. Findings: Consumers’ positive attitudes significantly influence their sustainable consumption choices in the context of preference for paper packaging over plastic packaging, indicating a shift towards environmentally responsible behavior. Novelty: This study uniquely integrates ANN into behavioral research on sustainability, offering a more precise modeling of consumer intentions and patterns compared to traditional statistical methods. Originality: Unlike previous studies focused on general consumer habits, this research considers packaging material choices to present a comprehensive model of sustainable behavior in a developing country context, emphasizing behavioral modeling over object detection or vision-based methods. Conclusion: This study underscores the need to promote positive attitudes and awareness of negative environmental impacts when using plastic packaging to encourage sustainable consumer behavior. Paper packaging can be alternative strategies to reduce plastic waste. Type of Paper: Empirical research paper.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM), promotion, and brand love on the purchase decision of The Originote skincare products. The research employed a quantitative method using a survey of 105 respondents who had previously used the products. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS. The results indicate that E-WOM and brand love have a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions, while promotion has a positive but not significant effect. The adjusted R² value of 66.1% suggests that the independent variables substantially explain the dependent variable. This study is limited to users of The Originote products, so the findings may not be generalized to other brands or product categories. The contribution of this research lies in enriching the literature on digital marketing and brand loyalty, as well as providing practical implications for skincare industry players in designing more effective brand communication strategies.

Abstract

The skincare industry in Indonesia has grown rapidly along with the increasing use of social media and e-commerce as marketing channels. Skintific, a skincare brand active in Indonesian e-commerce, is one example of a company that leverages digital marketing strategies. This study aims to analyze the influence of promotion, Live streaming, and Celebrity Endorsers on purchasing decisions for Skintific products. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey of 102 consumers in West Jakarta. Data were analyzed with Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS 4.0. The results show that promotion has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, Live streaming has a positive and significant effect, and Celebrity Endorsers have the strongest influence. The implication of this study is that skincare companies should optimize the combination of promotion, interactive Live streaming, and collaboration with credible Celebrity Endorsers to enhance consumer purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of green knowledge, environmental concern, and green attitude on intention to use environmentally friendly tumblers, with green trust as a mediating variable. The background of this study is based on the gap between the increasing environmental awareness of urban communities and the low adoption of environmentally friendly products such as tumblers. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method processed using SmartPLS 4.1 software, based on data from 100 respondents obtained through distributing online questionnaires by purposive sampling. The results showed that green knowledge and green attitude have a significant effect on intention to use, while environmental concern has no direct effect. Green attitude and environmental concern also have a significant effect on green trust, while green knowledge does not. In addition, green trust is proven to mediate the effect of green attitude and environmental concern on intention to use tumblers, but does not mediate the effect of green knowledge. These findings provide theoretical contributions in the development of pro-environmental behavior models as well as practical implications in the design of educational and promotional strategies to increase the adoption of environmentally friendly products.

Abstract

This study focuses on discussing the effect of work commitment, work compenstation on the performance of air traffic controller with job satisfaction as an intervening variable at the AirNav Indonesia, Palembang. The type of research used is quantitative with a causal study design. Data collection through questionnaires and analyzed using multivariate-Structural Equation Model analysis. The researcher employed job satisfaction as an intermediary variable to investigate the impact of commitment and compensation on ATC performance in this study. The data analysis revealed that ATC performance is positively and significantly influenced by job satisfaction and commitment, while compensation does not have a significant direct impact on ATC performance. Additionally, the data analysis results demonstrated that compensation has a substantial and beneficial effect on job satisfaction, which in turn indirectly influences ATC performance. As a result, it is feasible to conclude that compensation and commitment are indispensable variables that significantly impact ATC performance, both directly and indirectly, via employment satisfaction.

Abstract

This study investigates how digital transformation within the Catholic Church in Indonesia can enhance digital donation intentions by analyzing the influence of trust, Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, perceived risk, and perceived security on attitudes and engagement toward technology acceptance. Employing a quantitative design with an explanatory and cross-sectional approach, data were gathered from 100 respondents across 10 archdioceses in Indonesia using stratified random sampling. The analysis was carried out using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to examine the relationships between the variables. The findings reveal significant effects of Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, perceived risk, attitude, and engagement on digital donation intention. These results offer practical insights into improving donation practices and accelerating digital transformation within the Catholic Church in Indonesia. This study further proposes a novel conceptual framework that integrates trust, Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, perceived risk, and perceived security to explain attitudes and engagement in digital donations. This model expands the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) by incorporating additional factors relevant to donation behavior. Moreover, the study addresses a gap in the literature by highlighting the decline in QRIS adoption following the COVID-19 pandemic-an issue rarely discussed in prior donation studies. Digital donations in this context are also positioned as part of a broader social entrepreneurship movement that leverages technology to foster community involvement and ensure the financial sustainability of religious institutions.
