Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has hit the entire world, including Indonesia, causing severe impacts on the social and economic sectors. Electronic or non-cash money payment systems have progressed along with the development of information technology, in line with the increase in users and service providers of electronic money payment systems. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of QRIS transaction implementation during the Covid-19 pandemic. Qualitative research is used to bring researchers closer to the phenomenon studied, especially in the context of using QRIS by micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) engaged in food sales. Based on the results of the analysis that has been conducted, the impact of implementing QRIS during the Covid-19 pandemic is as follows: 1) At first, many merchants and the general public did not fully understand the features and benefits of the QRIS program. Hence, the installation of QRIS-based payment gateways for merchant transactions still experienced obstacles. The use of QRIS has not become common because many individuals still do not have an application to carry out these transactions, and sometimes problems related to QR code inaccuracies also become obstacles. 2) Some MSME merchants agree to use QRIS as a payment method because it is more economical and helps reduce the risk of spreading Covid-19. 3) One of the main advantages of using QRIS is the very low transaction fee, only one rupiah. The use of QRIS also provides convenience because it does not require large amounts of cash, and transactions can be completed quickly and safely without the need to carry cash. In addition, no physical interaction is required, which helps reduce the risk of spreading Covid-19. However, there are several disadvantages to using QRIS, including a limit on the number of transactions of up to 2 million rupiah and problems with an unstable internet connection that can limit the use of this system. This shortage may be unavoidable because using QRIS requires internet access and quota for transactions, and there can also be inventory problems in stores.

Abstract

Selanjutnya melakukan uji Inner Model melalui uji R-Square (Coefficient of determination), dan F-Square (f2 effect size).

Abstract

This research was conducted because of a shift and decline in audience interest in watching films at the Puri XXI cinema after the emergence of competitors in West Jakarta. These changes are influenced by factors such as lifestyle and price perception. This research aims to examine the relationship between activity, interest, opinion (AIO), price perception, and consumer decisions to watch films at the Puri XXI Cinema, South Jakarta. The research sample consisted of 100 respondents selected using non-probability sampling techniques. Linear regression analysis and significance tests were carried out with the help of SPSS 17.0 software to test the hypothesis. The research results show that partially, the activity variable does not have a significant influence on consumers' viewing decisions. However, the interest and opinion variables, although they do not have a strong influence, still positively influence viewing decisions. Price perception also has the largest positive and significant influence on viewing decisions. Overall, the activity, interest, opinion, and price perception variables together have an influence of 48.1% on consumers' viewing decisions.

Abstract

Customer Engagement reflects the extent of interaction between audiences and film products, serving as a key element within the movie industry. Various determinants such as lead actors, movie genres, movie ratings, and online reviews affect viewers intentions to watch films in theaters. This research investigates how customer engagement mediates the influence of these determinants on the intention to watch Indonesian films in cinemas. A quantitative research design was adopted, involving a survey of 315 respondents. The data were processed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique with the SmartPLS program to assess the relationships among variables. The results indicate that lead actors, film genres, movie ratings, and online reviews significantly enhanced customer engagement. Customer engagement positively and significantly affected individuals decisions to watch Indonesian movies. It was also found to significantly mediate the effect of these variables on the decisions to wacth movies. This research contributes to relationship marketing theory by emphasizing the importance of customer engagement in developing strong and loyal consumer relationships. Additionally, it enriches consumer behavior literature by explaining the effect of customer engagement on the decisions to watch movies, offering practical implications for film marketers in formulating effective promotional and audience engagement strategies.

Abstract

The transition to electric vehicles (EVs) represents a critical pathway toward sustainable transportation and carbon emission reduction globally. However, in developing countries like Indonesia, EV adoption rates remain significantly low despite increasing environmental awareness and government incentive programs. This study aims to analyze the perceptions and preferences of electric car users in Indonesia through a qualitative approach based on NVivo 14. Involving 15 informants from the Banten region, this study explored motivations, obstacles, and psychological and structural factors that influence consumers' decisions to adopt electric vehicles. The results show that although awareness of environmental benefits is relatively high, purchasing decisions are more influenced by cost efficiency and long-term savings. The findings also reveal the existence of an awareness–action gap, where awareness is not always followed by action. Two other important issues that emerged were charging anxiety due to limited charging infrastructure and low government policy trust due to uncertainty regarding government incentives. These three constructs are not covered by the five classical dimensions of the Diffusion of Innovation (DOI) theory, so this study offers an expansion of the DOI framework to make it more contextual to Indonesia's social, economic, and policy conditions. As a result, the proposed new conceptual model not only explains the purchase intent factor more comprehensively but can also serve as a reference in the formulation of policy strategies and intervention designs that encourage the sustainable adoption of electric vehicles.
